The Space:

Tucked amongst the towering trees of Government Camp, Cedar Raven will feel as if you are in your very own private treehouse with expansive front windows and a beautiful deck to soak up some fresh air on. Whether you have come to soak up some summer sunshine on the nearby trails or shred fresh powder at one of the three major ski resorts, there will be year-round activities galore. Inside, you will find wonderful art on the walls, tall ceilings that create an airy feel, plenty of games to play, and a fireplace to cozy up beside as evenings settle down. Not to mention, the full kitchen is efficient, yet has all of the appliances and utensils needed to whip up any recipe with ease. When it is time to settle in for the evening, the flatscreen TV in the living area will be more than ideal for movie nights, and those you want to hit the hay early will love the lofted sleeping areas that are divided by a shared bathroom, giving everyone their own privacy.

This is quirky fun cabin with a full kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was incredible, we had a fire all weekend long. Would love to come back again next year.

Really nice place, loved the old ski and mountaineering equipment decorations. Great location to town, easy access to the mountain. Three of the beds are in an open loft, one is in a room with a door on the first floor. Kitchen a bit small if you wanted to cook a real meal for however many people could sleep in the place, but plenty of space to eat and hang out.

Clean, cozy, great location, main bed 3 doubles in loft. It is a little dated, but was clean and had everything you could need (kitchen/cooking, flashlights, reading material, games, etc). Just a couple blocks from trails and dining. Not fancy, but was a great value stay over Labor Day weekend. Feels like old govy but nicer than many of the older cabins. Would recommend, and may return during the snow season.

This place was great and couldn’t have been better for a long weekend. Beds were comfy, decent kitchen set, two good sized bathrooms, lots of seating, the list goes on.

Great summer stay

Location! So close to everything in town and great hiking trails. The downstairs bedding and one of the bath towels had a significant amount of dog and human hair. We ended up staying in a different bed because of it. Otherwise the house was clean and well equipped. I would stay again.

Perfect Location!

Loved the walkable location to restaurants. Beds were soooo comfortable! House was very clean except windowsills did have cobwebs and bugs.. .Perhaps provide some games? Will stay again!

The location on one of the back streets of Govy is great and quiet. The cabin however is tired and needs a deep clean/refresh. I would describe it as tidy, but not necessarily clean. High touch areas such as counters were clean, but there were cobwebs and dust throughout, as well as stains on the very old carpeting. The shower was also very slow to drain so we had to stand in ankle deep water while we washed. The couch was hard as a rock, not comfortable at all for resting after a long day of skiing. All doors and windows would benefit from weather stripping— substantial drafts came through and we had to roll up towels and blankets to block the cold air from coming in.

Lovely

This cabin is fantastic. Very cute and in a great location. It is a cabin so there are some quirks (you have to hold the handles down for a bit to flush), but it is all reasonable. I would stay here again.

Perfect for ski camp

Our family came up for a timberline ski camp for our kids. The location was perfect and we were able to walk the stores and restaurants and were only 10 minutes away from the lift for ski camp. Will come again!

Great Location

Within walking distance to the bus stop to the ski lodge. Also restaurants and grocery store. Property was as stated clean and comfortable. The mattresses could use an upgrade. We enjoyed our stay!

The photos didn’t do this place justice. It’s rustic and darling with a great lofted sleeping area. It’s well stocked! It’s an easy walk into govey. Love it - we will be back!

A Wonderful Birthday Getaway

The cabin is so sweet and cozy but also accommodates a large amount of people. The kitchen has everything you need, they even pre-fill the ice trays! The recessed living room with fireplace is picturesque and the high ceilings with big windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful view outside while enjoying a warm fire inside. Overall an incredibly enjoyable stay and if I come back it will be to this cabin.
