The Space:

Stone's Throw is an end unit townhouse in the Wildflower development, just a short walk to Holiday Valley and a quick ride into the village. The layout sleeps up to 6, with thoughtful design and entertainment for every member of the group.



The main floor centers around a cozy living room with a Roku TV, gas fireplace, and mini-split A/C. Sliding doors off the living room open to a private patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxing. The full kitchen includes an electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, and drip coffee maker. A dining area sits right off the kitchen, with extra natural light pouring in from the end unit windows.



Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, Roku TV, its own mini-split, and a second private patio. The bunk room offers flexible sleeping options with two twin-over-twin bunks, plus a staircase leading up to a loft with a queen bed, another Roku TV, and portable A/C. The bunk room also has a DVD player, movie collection, and PlayStation 2 for kids and teens.



Two full bathrooms (one on the main floor, one on the second floor) each have walk-in showers stocked with towels and essentials. The washer and dryer are located in a closet on the main floor across from the kitchen.

With two patios (one off the living room and one off the primary bedroom), there are plenty of spots to enjoy the outdoors right from the townhouse.



Families traveling with little ones will find a bassinet, playpen, highchair, Bumbo seat, and a selection of toys ready to use. A gear dryer is on site to dry boots, gloves, and outerwear between days on the slopes or trails.



The outdoor ski locker doubles as storage for outdoor toys, with 2 scooters, a helmet, soccer balls, basketballs, a frisbee, a football, and skipping ropes available for guests.

Guests have full access to Stone's Throw. Check-in is self-service via a smart lock.



The Neighborhood:

Wildflower is a condominium development just outside the village, sitting across from Holiday Valley right before Holiday Valley Road. Stone's Throw puts you close to everything without being in the middle of it. Holiday Valley is a short walk, and the village shops, restaurants, and bars are just under a mile away.



In summer, the area is green, peaceful, and ideal for guests who want quick access to outdoor activities without the noise of a resort property. Mountain biking, hiking, and the Sky High Adventure Park at Holiday Valley are all minutes away. The village is an easy bike ride for dinner, drinks, or browsing the local shops.



In winter, the Sunrise Lift is walkable when conditions allow, and Holiday Valley runs a free shuttle that picks up at the Wildflower gazebo.



Getting Around:

Stone's Throw sits across from Holiday Valley, walkable to the slopes and a short bike or drive to the village. A car helps but isn't required, especially in ski season when the free Holiday Valley shuttle picks up right outside.

Wildflower gazebo 20 minutes after the hour. Hourly from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekends and holidays, on request weekdays and after 8 PM. Contact the resort to schedule.

Ride shares may be available on weekends and holiday weeks, but availability is not guaranteed. There is no shuttle service to the village.



Other Things to Note:

👥 Maximum occupancy is capped at 6 guests per the Town of Ellicottville STR permit and cannot be exceeded.

🔇 This property is equipped with a Minut environmental monitor to comply with local noise and occupancy regulations and monitor HVAC systems. The device does not record audio, video, or conversations.

🚙 AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended during winter months. Ellicottville is in the snow belt and roads can be challenging after storms.

🏢 Wildflower is a condominium development. We do not control or manage other units in the building or who their owners choose to rent to.
