Spacious and Spectacular Kittery Home

A perfect retreat just a 12 minute drive down the coast from beautiful seapoint beach, this cape is nestled in the hip Kittery foreside neighborhood. The area is lined with indy restaurants and shops and guests are a lovely walk or 5 minute drive over the bridge to Portsmouth, NH. This private 2 story home, designed by and for artists, is filled with one-of-a-kind, beautiful details: from stained glass windows to a chandelier made of spoons, you'll delight in the whimsy of this spectacular home

The space
Sip your morning coffee in our beachy 3 season room, or among the trees on our back deck. Cuddle with family and friends on our over-sized sofa in front of the large screen TV in our sunken living room. Enjoy a gourmet meal or board games at the table in our grand dining room. Or just curl up with a book in the library. Our unique house has room for everyone in your party to relax and stretch out.

Enjoy the expansive private yard in the front of the house. Take our soccer balls, baseball equipment and bicycles for a spin or play around of hoops with your family in our front yard. In the evening, roast some marshmallows at our fire pit and serve cocktails from our outdoor bar station.

On the back patio, host a bbq and dine al fresco! We also have a roomy, airy 3 season room where you can recline and watch the woodpeckers peck right outside the window.

Inside you'll have plenty of room to spread out and relax! Relax on the world's comfiest sofa in our sunken living room while watching squirrels scamper outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy your pick of streaming options--Hulu, Netflix, AmazonPrime, HBO Max, AppleTV, DisneyPlus)-- on our 55in tv. We also have a library/playroom, brimming with family games, toys, and books.

The restaurants in Kittery are some of the best, but you still might want to plan meals at home to take advantage of the magnificent newly renovated kitchen. We provide all the basic equipment you need to chef-it-up: from a KitchenAid stand mixer to a top-of-the-line induction range and oven. We also provide foundational cooking supplies, such as seasonings and olive oil. Dine around the eat-in kitchen nook or spread out at our expansive dining room table, which can comfortably seat eight.

Coming to work? Set your laptop up in our office on the first floor. Great wi-fi, desk, lamp, printer, basic office supplies, and office chair await you. While you work, enjoy the view out of the idyllic landscape out your floor-to-ceiling window.

Where will you sleep? Take your pick! Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a queen size bed with en suite bathroom with tub. The master has a 46 inch tv with all the same streaming options as downstairs and a desk and chair, as well as plenty of space for your belongings. Across the hall are two more bedrooms (railroad style--go through the first room to get to the next). The first room has a twin bed with a twin trundle that can be pulled out from underneath. The second has a queen bed. Both have desks, and are decorated cheerfully with books and toys.

Finally, downstairs, in the evenings you can transform the office into another master bedroom: pull out the sofa, inflate the sofa air mattress, and enjoy! The downstairs half bathroom is directly across the hall.

We take your comfort and safety seriously; we hire a professional cleaning team to prepare and sanitize the house between each guest and have our neighbors on standby in case anything urgent comes up during your stay.

Guest access
There is ample parking in front of the house. From the house, you can walk to downtown Kittery's funky shops, galleries and restaurants. A short ride gets you to the beach, downtown Portsmouth, and the outlets in Kittery.

Other things to note
We permit pets on a pet-by-pet basis for a small fee. Please share information about your furry friend in your reservation request. We prefer three night bookings from memorial Day weekend through Christmas.
