The Space:

Set on almost a half-acre, this stilted river cottage is the perfect getaway! Just a few feet from the Tuckasegee River but also close to town, this retreat is perfect for groups looking to get a real sense of the mountain atmosphere. Walk just a half-mile into Dillsboro to shop, dine, or canoe the river. Trails also fill the area for hiking and exploring the surrounding mountains.



The thoughtful orientation of this modest-sized cabin keeps the river-song in your ears and heart. Guests can use the hot tub on the front deck, the outdoor firepit (bring your own firewood), and the covered picnic shelter. Inside, you'll find a compact, but full kitchen as well as a main bedroom with a large TV with surround sound speakers.



This home also includes central heating and air-conditioning. Things to know Cell and GPS services are limited in this area. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.

This place was super cute! We spent most of our time in the rocking chairs, on the covered deck, that overlooked the Tuckaseegee River.Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house was also easy to get to and really close to everything we wanted to do.We would definitely book again!

We loved it..it was our second time there. All was great but please be careful going up steps on side of house some boards are lose and my husband had a nasty fall when step broke

This place has all the appliances listed and is clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the river activity and fishing. Beds are super soft with lots of pillows. The kitchen could use a couple extra cooking utensils for those wishing to prepare food themselves.

Perfect cottage just a couple steps from the gorgeous river. Very comfortable bed. Easy access to dillsboro and Sylva.My only wish was that it were a little more secluded. Overall a gem!

We found our stay to be prefect! Everything was better than expected! We came just wanting a quiet getaway in nature... and left with some of the best memories I've ever made.

The laundry room is under the home in a very awkward place and is dark there is no light. There is no shops to shop really for souvenirs either and there was dog poop under the bed when we arrived it was quite nasty. I would love to talk to somebody about this.

We loved the location of the cabin. The covered porch on the back was great. The covered shelter by the river was also very nice. We also enjoyed a fire each night and the steps down to the river was wonderful.

River Romance Cabin

Loved our stay here. Perfect location on the river. Cabin and hot tub clean. Communicated minor issues that needed to be fixed with company so they could be fixed for the next people. We would stay here again.

The Cabin was very clean and the creek was so peaceful! The only thing I would suggest is to trim down the brush at the driveway so it would be easier to see oncoming traffic when pulling out of the property. Other than that, it was an awesome place to stay!
