Bienvenido a Le Chalet!

Relajarse en nuestra casa de lujo! Esta muy bien decorado, 3600 pies cuadrados francesa Alpine Chalet casa se encuentra en el interior del pueblo de montaña Massanutten. Se puede disfrutar de una de nuestras cuatro cubiertas escénicas, jugar una partida de billar o ping-pong en la sala de estar, o relajarse con un libro delante de los dos lugares de piedra de fuego. También podrá disfrutar de los techos abovedados, ventanas de piso a techo, baños nuevos, bar en la sala de juegos, y tres televisores con DVD / VCR, TV por cable y de alta velocidad de conexión a Internet inalámbrica para sus ordenadores portátiles.

Esquí, snowboard, o tubo en el invierno. Golf, nadar, jugar al tenis, pescado, canoa, bicicleta, montar a caballo, karts, y el alza en el otoño, primavera y verano. Disfrutar de nuevo del parque acuático del Massanutten Resort - 4 temporadas más grande parque acuático de la Costa Este !!!

No hay necesidad de salir de este complejo que incluye una pista de esquí 14 sendero y parque de la tubería, dos campos de golf, un campo de golf en miniatura muy bien diseñado, restaurantes, bar, tienda de esquí, mini-mercado y mucho más. Such a great space for families! The older kids holed up in the loft and the younger ones ran all over and had fun in the basement with the ping pong and pool tables. The adults had a relaxing weekend watching the Olympics and catching up. We would definitely visit again!

Comfortable and spacious house!

We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of room to spread out. The beds were mostly comfortable and the only issue we had was with how chilly the downstairs was without lighting the gas fireplace. However, the host quickly responded when we inquired about this and offered to have someone come light the pilot light, This house offers a lot for families and is priced reasonably. Would stay again.

JMU Family Weekend Fun

We had a great stay at Le Chalet for our first JMU Parent's weekend. We stayed with friends and the house was perfect for our two families. There was ample space, a well appointed kitchen, outside grill and the kids had a great time playing pool and ping pong. It took us just under 30 minutes to get to and from campus and was an easy drive.

Great space for a family ski weekend!

My extended family got together for a ski weekend at Massanutten. The Chalet provided a great space for family meals and fun in between skiing and snow tubing. The resort was a short drive away. Large driveway for parking. Well-stocked kitchen. Extra blankets that were perfect for cozying up by the downstairs fire while the kids played pool and ping pong. We’ll be back!

Excellent rental for our annual get-together

This bunch has been getting together over 30 years for Homecoming but this was our first year at this house. It was spacious but cozy at the same time. The bedrooms gave room for everyone to spread out and the two common areas easily accommodated the group socializing. Everyone said it was great and gave it a two thumbs up. Wish we would have had more time to take in the area!

Memories

My family had this house built when Massanutten first opened back in the early 70’s. Started the build in 1973 moved in 1974 and sold in 2004. It was a girls weekend to go to some of the wineries and breweries. The house has plenty of room for large groups and has a ping pong and pool tables. Great to be able to stay in the house once again and remember 30 years of wonderful memories my family had in the house. Would definitely recommend this house.

Great mountain retreat!

We stayed here for two nights while skiing at Massanutten. The house is beautiful, like a classic chalet, with dark wood and cozy nooks all around. We had two couples, a single adult and two kids, and had plenty of space. There are three different living rooms for relaxing, plus lots of toys for kids. The kitchen was well stocked and everything well maintained. Great to have laundry available, too. It snowed on the second night and the roads were cleared by the time we got up in the morning. We didn't take advantage of the other area amenities but there is a lot within a few minutes drive. We hope to come back!

Massanutten vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was sufficient for our family. It was kid-friendly and the game room was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. However , there were only a few washcloths, Wet towels were in the dryer, broken chairs on the deck, and the fan in the bedroom to the left on the main floor was about to fall off the fixture. On the third day of our rental, someone came out to fix it. Washcloths were never brought and chairs were not replaced So only 2 usable chairs on the deck. On the bottom floor, the glider is cracked and unusable The trash cans were loaded with fully loaded with trash with no room for our trash. I emailed the owner the week before our arrival and never received a response.

I am sorry but I just checked the VRBO site, and I never received an email prior to the stay that was not responded to. This stay was a Saturday checkout and Saturday check in with 6 hours in between. The city removes the trash from the external bin on Mondays. At the guest's request the caretaker came and removed the trash personally at no charge. The guest requested the fan to be tightened on Saturday evening and the caretaker sent someone to tighten it on Monday, because no repairmen were available on Sunday. We purchased 4 brand new chairs two months ago, and the caretaker did not notice any broken prior to the stay in a walkthrough. Since the guest claimed they did not break the two of them, we did not charge them. There were several washcloths, and we added more now, plus we purchased new chairs. The old glider at the end of the bottom back porch was not meant to be used. It was broken by a prior guest and will be hauled away. There are plenty of other places to sit. For context, this review was posted only after I withheld the guest's deposit due to the towel rack being completely torn off the wall requiring sheetrock repair and painting (we were never notified of the damage), as well as several new stains on the carpet, which is being throughly cleaned this week. Great Thanksgiving weekend

We had a great time in Le Chalet, the location is great if you want to go to Massanuten ski resort, its a spacy and cozy home. The view is gorgeous. The kitchen is equipped with all you might need, but you have to bring consumables. TV has cable and the basement counts with a billiard and ping pong table. We would book again.

Great location, wonderful home

Great place to stay. We stayed for JMU homecoming weekend with 2 other couples. Plenty of room, easy to get to restaurants, university, etc. Would stay again!
