The retreat offers plenty of room to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy a quieter side of Virginia.

The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. The primary suite features a king bed and a spacious bathroom with a tub just made for soaking and a separate shower. A second bedroom combines a twin daybed with dedicated workspace for guests who need to stay connected. The third bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed, making it a great option for families or groups.

Gather in the comfortable living room, cook together in the well-stocked kitchen, or take your morning coffee outside on the deck and enjoy the mountain air. High speed Starlink internet makes it easy to stream, work remotely, or stay connected while still feeling wonderfully removed from the everyday.

Outside, you'll have 12 private acres to enjoy with mountain scenery, a creek, private trails, and plenty of opportunities to simply sit back and watch the wildlife. In the evening, gather around the gas fire pit and enjoy the kind of dark quiet skies that are increasingly hard to find.

Dogs are welcome, too, because we believe a mountain getaway is even better when your four-legged family members get to come along.

The house is less than 10 minutes to downtown Bedford, and halfway between Lynchburg and Roanoke. Spend your days discovering the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, waterfalls, the D-Day Memorial, wineries, orchards, pumpkin patches, and more.

We've thoughtfully prepared the house to be more than simply a place to sleep. You'll find comfortable linens, fluffy towels, a stocked kitchen, coffee and tea, practicable conveniences, and little touches designed to make your stay relaxing.

Rental Agreement: A supplemental Short-Term Rental Agreement is required for this property. The booking guest will be asked to electronically sign the agreement through our property management system prior to check-in. The agreement incorporates the property and house rules disclosed in this listing and includes occupancy, guest responsibilities, and safety/assumption of risk provisions for the amenities including the hot tub, gas fire pit, and hammock.
