We enjoyed this house for a quick long weekend getaway with our adult children and their partners. The kitchen was very well equipped and the living and sleeping spaces were large and comfortable. We surfed for two days and played games in the evenings.

The place was decent but things were not cleaned that well, there were cigarette butts on the floor in the queen room upstairs and that room smelled heavily of smoke which made my allergies go crazy because you could faintly smell it throughout the upstairs. The welcome basket had very stale pirates booty in it, it was quite gross. We had to clean the jetted tub in the master before we could use it. For almost 1,100 dollars for two nights I expected it to be cleaner.

Overall impression was that it felt a bit congested. Disappointed by no yard or grill. The western views were excellent. The beach and town were in easy walking distance.We would not opt again for a three-story townhouse at our age.The master bedroom had no closet space. The Jacuzzi did not function.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit to the Oregon coast. One of our favorite features was the ocean view and easy beach access—it was so nice to be able to walk right down to the shore and enjoy the scenery.The mermaid-themed décor was charming and added so much personality to the space. It felt welcoming, fun, and perfectly suited to a beach getaway. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel warm and inviting. Our teenage son especially loved the bonus room!The hosts were great communicators and made the entire experience seamless. Our family made some wonderful memories here, and we would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

This house was very comfortable for our family of 8 during our stay in Rockaway Beach. The property is right off the main street going through town so it is close to stores, shops and restaurants as well as the beach. We had a great time!! That being said, from the master bedroom, the noise from that main street did wake us up very early in the morning each day. This wasn't a problem for the other bedrooms though. Also, be aware that this unit has 3 floors, so there are a lot of stairs. It wasn't an issue for us but it could be for other potential renters. One more thing to take into account is the very narrow driveway with rails on each side. It took some maneuvering to get into the driveway just right. The people in the next unit drove a Yukon and were unable to park in their driveway. Hopefully this information is helpful! All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay for our vacation!

The good: Wonderful house in Rockaway! The house is gorgeous, spacious and very well decorated with whimsy. The view of the beach is wonderful, you can hear the waves all night long. It's a 20 minute walk to the main boardwalk of Rockaway with shops and restaurants. The Girabaldi train goes by and you can wave from the balcony decks, this is more fun than one would think and we did it often. The ok: If you are reading a book or crafting at night, bring a lamp the lighting is dim. There are quite a few stairs as this is a 3 story house with bedrooms on the top floor and the main seating/kitchen is on the second floor. If stairs are a challenge for you, this might not be the best stay for you. The house is not on the beach. You must cross HWY 101, but the cross walk is steps from the house. The parking is across a very narrow bridge. Large vehicles may find this tricky. This is steps away (like 50 steps) to the HWY and it is noisy at all hours. The headlights also shine into the bedrooms so if you need dark you might consider an eye mask. The not so good, but totally fixable: the couch had many crumbs, there was quite a bit of dust on many surfaces.Would we stay again: YES.
