Truly the perfect place to stay

The whootie house truly is the perfect place to stay. It was a great fit for our 8 houseguests. We loved the large open kitchen with the big countertop and the living room with lots of space. The house is stocked with anything you could need for a comfortable stay. The basement and the games were a lot of fun and enjoyed by all. The biggest perk is the central location and proximity to the town. Michael was a wonderful host and very responsive.

Terrific family ski trip

Two families stayed here for a long weekend ski trip, and we absolutely loved this house! Clean, cozy, superb location, very well stocked, amazing layout and super fun game room, and responsive host. We already looked to book in 2026!! Great home for families!

We were impressed with the House. Very clean and lots of amenities. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. We would stay again next year no problem.

can't beat location and ammenities

Only a 6 min walk into town for dinner! Plenty of kitchen supplies, bedding, tv's, etc. The basement games were a hit for adults and kids alike. Would definitely book again!

It’s the location

The best thing about this house is the location! It’s just a short walk to all the bars shops and restaurants. I’ve stayed here multiple times with 12 friends for a golf trip. It sleeps us comfortably. The host answered all my questions in a timely manner! Would highly recommend!!

We love the Whootie house and can’t wait to come back! This is our 3rd time staying and we LOVE it every time! Fun game room and they have everything you need and more! Thank you for another amazing visit! Can’t wait to come back next year or there is talk about golf trip in summer as well!

Great location & home

We were visiting for a long weekend with other family members, and wanted to stay near downtown Ellicottville. This was the perfect location and a short walk to the local grocery store, bakery, and numerous restaurants downtown. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished with all the amenities you would want for a short or long stay. The host was readily available for any questions we had, and quite honestly was absolutely fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again the next time we are coming to the area.

Fantastic spot

We had an incredible experience! The property was exactly as described - spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The game's room was a great touch. The location (walkable to town) was perfect for exploring the local area, and the amenities provided made it feel like a true home away from home. The owner was also extremely responsive and accommodating, making the entire rental process seamless and stress-free. Overall, I would highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient vacation rental.

Ski weekend

Things were great for this house, it was bigger than expected. The kitchen had everything with lots of fun actives in the basement. The house was warm and cozy. Most beds were very comfortable. The opportunity for improvement is the bunk room on the 1st floor, wish there was a door and more comfortable beds. I hope to return next year.

Perfect location

Amazing weekend skiing with our 2 teens and 7 of their friends. Plenty of space to spread out and the basement is a great hangout for teens. So easy to walk downtown or to the grocery store. Five minute drive to Holiday Valley if that. I cook a lot and the kitchen was very well stocked. Our only request would be a luggage rack or two so we didn’t have to all keep our suitcases on the floor. We will definitely be back!

The best VRBO home I've ever stayed in.

This home is large, well appointed and very clean. Our group of 4 enjoyed our stay. We liked that we each had our own rooms. This house is big enough for 8 easily. We did take advantage of the pool table in the basement for evening entertainment. TVs have FUBO, wifi was good, they even had a bluetooth speaker that we could have used. The kitchen is highly appointed with appliances, kurig coffee maker, air fryer, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and tools. It was really like staying at someones house. Its a block from the center of Ellicottville and closer to the grocery store.

5 guys golf weekend

Michael's place was a great place for me and four buddies to enjoy a golf weekend getaway. Restaurants and grocery stores were a five minute walk away. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The beds were all comfortable and Michael was great to deal with. The traffic was a little noisey in the morning for the people sleeping in the two bedrooms facing the road. And the front door which leads to the porch wouldn't open which was not only inconvenient but also in the event of a fire would have eliminated one of the two escape exits. Overall Michael's place allowed the five of us to have a great weekend in Ellicottville.

It is in a fabulous winter/summer resort town. After skiing all day, take a break and get to know the village's shops, many fine restaurants, and cultural centers. Relax on the deck and watch the cars go by or go for a short stroll and walk the streets of downtown Ellicottville. Enjoy having a pint at the 'Gin Mill', off to 'Dina's' for dinner and then of course go dancing the night away at 'Balloons'. Experience the charm and unhurried lifestyle of Ellicottville any time of year. The area is renowned for its hiking and there are many miles of mountain bike trails.

Sleeping accommodations for 12 (4 bedrooms and 1 pull out couch with upgraded mattress), three common area rooms for socializing, large screen TV, full kitchen, large dining area, large outdoor covered deck, front covered porch and 2 newly renovated full bathrooms. A new stone gas fireplace will keep you warm and cozy. It is a lot of home to enjoy. Finished basement/game room.
