Vacation Home “Inselliebe 02” – A Shared Rügen Vacation Between the Bodden, the Garden, and the Sauna

Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, two full bathrooms, and a spacious living area make the “Inselliebe 02” half of the vacation home an ideal vacation destination for two couples traveling together, a family, or up to four adults. The house is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow on the quiet south coast of Rügen and combines living close to nature with modern comforts.

Newly built in 2021, this half of the vacation home offers 61 m² of space with carefully selected furnishings in an elegant Nordic style. The furniture, artwork, and lighting have been harmoniously coordinated to give the rooms a modern yet cozy feel. The view of the garden and the peaceful surroundings enhance your stay from the very first day of your vacation.

The heart of the home is the open-concept living and dining room. Here, you can spend time together however you like: relaxing on the sofa, gathering around the dining table, or spending the evening by the fireplace. A flat-screen TV is included, as is free Wi-Fi.

Large, floor-to-ceiling windows open the living area onto the west-facing terrace. An integrated screen door allows you to let in fresh air while keeping insects out. The terrace isn’t just for breakfast—thanks to its west-facing orientation, it’s also perfect for relaxing in the late afternoon and evening. The adjacent private garden provides additional space for relaxing and playing. Matching patio furniture is provided.

The open kitchen is directly adjacent to the living and dining areas. It features a modern design and is equipped with high-quality appliances. A complete set of tableware is stored in the cabinets. Thanks to the dishwasher, you’ll have more time to enjoy your vacation after sharing meals together. The dining table seats four.

A distinctive feature of the “Inselliebe 02” is the layout of the bedrooms. Both bedrooms each feature a comfortable box-spring double bed with a sleeping area measuring 1.80 × 2.00 meters. This means that even when traveling with four people, no one has to do without a double bed. Both rooms also have a wardrobe and their own flat-screen TV.

The house also offers plenty of comfort when it comes to the bathrooms. There are two bathrooms available, each equipped with a shower and toilet. The bathroom on the first floor also features its own Finnish sauna. It provides a private retreat for peaceful moments of relaxation—especially pleasant after a long walk, a bike ride, or a day on the water.

Upon arrival, the beds are already made and towels are provided. For laundry during your stay, a washing machine and dryer are available for shared use in the main house. Both machines are coin-operated and are not located directly in the vacation home.

“Inselliebe 02” is located near the Greifswald Bodden. The vacation home is about 600 meters from a natural beach, which is within walking distance. A handcart can be used for the trip. The waterside setting is ideal for walks, bike rides, and excursions by kayak or SUP.

Access to the vacation village is via an unpaved, natural road where vehicles must travel at walking speed. This underscores the peaceful and nature-oriented character of the property. A reserved, free parking space is available for your own vehicle.

Dogs are allowed with prior notice. This makes the house ideal for guests who want to explore Rügen with their four-legged friends. Children are also welcome, and the private garden offers additional outdoor space.

A total of three charging stations are available in the vacation village for electric vehicles. Since they are shared among guests, coordination may be necessary. There is a fee for use, which is calculated based on the length of stay. A charging cable for the vehicle is not provided and must be brought along.

Guests arriving by train can use a shuttle service from the Putbus train station to the vacation village for a small fee. This makes it possible to reach the accommodation even without a car.

Right in the vacation village, there is a farm store offering regional products, a bread roll delivery service, a small farm kitchen, and bike rentals. Café Klein Stresow rounds out the offerings with hot and cold beverages, fresh breakfast rolls, light meals, snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, and specialty coffees.

A peaceful stay over the New Year’s holiday is also guaranteed: New Year’s Eve is celebrated without fireworks in the vacation village.
