Everything was perfect! The only suggestion I would make is to please consider adding some type of black out curtains in the guest bedroom located in the front of the condo! The outside lights are very bright and shine through the cracks and holes in the blinds making it hard to darken the room at night!

Yes, beach was beautiful. Didn’t use the pool. Only two issues, front bedrooms way too bright at night due to outside lights. Recommend room darkening shades or drapes. Also hair dryer was broken (not by us) needs replacing.

It was a beautiful condo and we absolutely loved the location. My only suggestion is the kitchen could be stocked better as far necessary cooking items such as a pizza cutter and the dishes I used were not the cleanest.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We typically get reviews that the kitchen is well stocked. We will double check to be sure there's a pizza cutter today. We regret that someone may have put away some dishes that weren't clean, that's unusual as well.

Great place

We love this area because of the location near the pier, the quiet atmosphere and the beautiful view. This particular condo needed a few essentials which we got at the nearest Walmart but other than that, we liked it. I would recommend this time of year especially because there weren’t a lot of teenagers and kids at the pool, if that’s what you like.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was spacious & as pictured, master sheets were dirty though.Biggest problem was occupancy. Sleeps 6. Fine, there was only 2 of us. Our daughter & her family were in Destin at same time. Told by mgmt that we had to eat outside or have 1 member not come inside bc that would make 7 in the condo. They sent 3 emails stating they monitor ring cameras & would be told to leave w/o a refund if rules are broken.Never heard of being so strict on guests, especially for just an hour or so dinner.Been coming to Navarre for 5 yrs 2x a year, this was first time @Beach Colony will not stay here again though...

Beach Colony West is a Great Complex

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 8B definitely needs some work. The fan above the stove sounds like it’s about to blow. The baseboards definitely need some cleaning and paint. A major deep cleaning to vents and around the ceiling fans would help. The showers have black mold in multiple locations. We washed a pair of jeans and they came out bleached. The washer/dryer have seen their better days. Lights in showers are burnt. We love Beach Colony and will be back. We just won’t be staying in 8B.

Beautiful Resort & Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Building and condo well maintained. Condo beautifully decorated and nice view of pool and the ocean. 2 beach chairs & umbrella a plus. The parking garage is not super tall, so I don't think luggage rack systems would fit. Would definitely rent this unit again!

Uncomfortable Beds

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is very nice. We have stayed at this condo a few times. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. I would sink in and we ended up leaving a day early because of it. One of the beds in the other bedroom was very soft.
Respuesta de VrboOwner el 4 de may de 2023
Hi Ralph, We are so sorry that you had issues with the bed. Upon inspection, we discovered that one of the supports was broken and we are in the process of having it repaired. Thanks for letting us know so we can be ready for future guests.

Great place, with some additions

We loved our stay. The location was amazing. Condo was very nice. We were disappointed that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a 4 day stay for a family of four. We also felt laundry detergent should have been provided considering we did not have enough towels and washcloths, so we had to wash them. Usually condos have a small start up of coffee, extra soap bars, and some cooking supplies (salt, pepper, ect). This condo had none of those extras. For the price, those little things would definitely make it more appealing to most families.

Shanda, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! We try to be very clear about what housekeeping provides in our rental agreement which is sent to all of our guests when you request to book. Because all of our stays have different durations, housekeeping only provides a 24 hour supply of toilet paper & paper towels for each stay. We provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths. We also provide 3 bars of soap, dish detergent, and a sponge for washing dishes.

We ❤ Navarre

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would stay in this property again. Clean, spacious, easy beach access, and a beautiful view. Next time I would bring my own pots and pans. I didn't cook very many meals but there's nothing big enough to cook for 4 people. Had to buy some wooden spoons. Would also REALLY appreciate a vacuum. A broom just doesn't cut it with the sand.
Respuesta de VrboOwner el 28 de sept de 2023
Thanks for your feedback Emily! I wish you had let us know that you needed more kitchen items. One of the perks of having an office onsite is that we keep all of these items in stock for our guests. There should have been a vacuum in the laundry room as well. Next time please give us a call if you need anything. We are glad to hear you enjoyed most aspects of your stay and hope to have another opportunity to host you again soon!
