Storchennest holiday home – Alpine idyll with mountain views in Schönau am König

Welcome to the Storchennest holiday home – your temporary home in Schönau am Königssee.
Nestled in the breathtaking mountain world of the Berchtesgadener Land, a lovingly furnished house awaits you, offering space for relaxation and shared experiences on two floors.

Living with a view
The ground floor features an open-plan living and dining area with a comfortable sofa, television, radio and a large dining table for up to six people. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped – ideal for cooking together. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet.

Cosy under the roof
A spiral staircase made of real wood leads to the upper floor. There you will find a spacious bedroom with a double bed, an additional single bed and a pull-out sofa bed. A desk and lovingly built-in cupboards provide additional comfort. A traditional tiled stove provides cosy warmth and a homely atmosphere – perfect when it's snowing outside or the evenings are chilly. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Kehlsteinhaus, Jenner, Hohes Brett and Hoher Göll mountains.

Bathroom & service
The upper floor offers a daylight bathroom with a real glass shower and large washbasin. An additional toilet with towel dryer and washing machine makes your stay particularly comfortable.
Bed linen and towels are of course included.

Outdoor area & panorama
Whether it's sunrise with a cup of coffee on the balcony or a convivial barbecue evening on the terrace – the outdoor area of the Storchennest offers numerous opportunities to enjoy nature to the full. The clear mountain views and fresh Alpine air make every moment an experience.

There are two parking spaces available directly at the house, and there is also an e-charging station (subject to a fee).

From here, you can reach Königssee in just a few minutes – a natural gem that delights visitors in summer with boat trips and hikes and scores points in winter with its proximity to ski resorts.
Berchtesgaden, with its charming town centre, and Salzburg, with its cultural highlights, are also within easy reach.
