We're are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys. The cabin has lots of space for us. Biggest highlights : the privacy no neighbors in sight and the views are incredible. We loved the hot tub and firepit. Saw a sky full of stars ! My boys loved the reclining couch and the AC was wonderful and sleeping was great.

Great location and spectacular views. Very little car traffic; great for short walks; within a 20 minute drive of Front Royal, the Skyline Drive, and Luray. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes; we enjoyed the open living room and huge deck. We had issues with cleanliness: there was corn silk in the sink drain, the dining room table was not clean, and the living area was dusty.

if you enjoy excellent service, seclusion, quite all the time, fantastic views, deer and wild turkeys running around, fishing, sitting around a camp fire or relaxing in the hot tub having cocktails while watching some of the most beautiful sunsets and not to mention the best sleep you've had in a long time then this is the cabin for you. the cabin is very nice with almost everything you will need for your stay. this was our second stay and we are hooked we will be going back in the spring for two weeks this time. you have the town of luray about fifteen minutes down the road that has excellent dining, gift shops, two major grocery stores and don't forget to stop by flotzies soft serve ice cream its the best you probably ever had. the host is the nicest person going and will make your stay worth the trip. Enjoy

Our family of 4 has been renting cabins for the last 6 years and this was far and away the best we've been to yet. The local attractions and scenic views are amazing. The view from the cabin is phenomenal. The access to water is so convenient. My kids are already planning our next visit.

The Star View Cabin was so cozy! It was perfect for a couples getaway. Communication was great. Check-in/out was easy. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and easy meal. The hot tub has great views.

We felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we came through the door! The first thing we noticed was the the view from the living area with a fireplace in between, beautiful. Remote enough to feel like you're the only one's on the mountain, but close to Skyline, Shenandoah National Park, and Luray. The bed was so comfortable, perfect after a soak in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. Everything was just perfect, we will definitely stay again!

This was a truly stunning stay. We booked for our honeymoon and the views really are jaw dropping when you first see them. It never got old the entire stay. The cabin is set up with the basics. River across was lovely. A bit of a walk but with the wild flowers blooming it felt magical. Spending a week relaxing on the porch and sitting by the fire was the perfect trip. The hosts were lovely and helped when the wifi went out. There is also a lot of privacy despite the hosts being nearby, the forest is very dense! We heard so many new birds and saw many interesting insects which we were thrilled by. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

The host was exceptional and quick to respond to questions. Loved the cabin, it was in great condition, clean and very nicely set up. The views to the river and the mountains beyond were breath taking with the snow and ice from a recent storm.

Cabin was clean and bright; they did not exaggerate the quality of the view. Communication with the host was clear and prompt prior to and during our stay. Kitchen appliances were all clean and in good working order. Able to cook basic meals with the utensils, dishes, and equipment on site. Guidance to the river is easy to follow and very worth it.

I canoed this part of the river more than 20 years ago and thought it the most beautiful stretch of river I had ever seen. We feel so fortunate to enjoy such a beautiful place and have enjoyed guestst coming from all over the world, returning families, their friends, and now their children here on Cedar Point Farm. People enjoy fields, woods, all kinds of wildlife, and we even have astronomers come to enjoy the night sky. We are proud to share this beautiful spot with others who come to appreciate the beauty of the area. This cabin is wheelchair friendly for easy access to enjoy relaxing by the fire or to be outside enjoying a beautiful sunset. We hope you choose to experience the beauty of the Shenandoah River Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains with us on Cedar Point Farm.
