Su "hogar lejos del hogar" a un muy encantador de 2 dormitorios, 1 baños completos con mucha luz natural situado en el bello Waimea. Nuestra casa tiene pisos de baldosas y bambú y una chimenea de gas JOTUL en la sala de estar abierta para mantener el calor en las noches frías de Waimea. El dormitorio principal y segundo dormitorio son de tamaño generoso con un buen espacio en el armario. Nuestra casa está rodeada por un paisaje exuberante privado con árboles frutales y plantas con flores - limón, manzana, plátano, bayas, níspero, Poha noche en flor de jazmín, jengibre y bambú y pastizales en el patio trasero donde se puede ver las vacas pastan. Disfrutar de las hermosas vistas del atardecer y de pastos tras la gran terraza cubierta situada inmediatamente fuera de la cocina, un lugar tranquilo y relajante para disfrutar de una taza de café caliente en la mañana o una copa de vino al atardecer.

La cocina y despensa ofrecen un montón de espacio para el almacenamiento de alimentos y la casa viene con una lavadora y secadora apilables. La cochera para un auto es de fácil acceso con un camino de entrada. El clima en Waimea es perfecto; mañanas frescas y tardes brumosas, lluvias por la tarde ocasionales y hermosos días de sol! Disfrutar de las noches tranquilas, el hermoso campo y un entorno exuberante en un entorno privado y tranquilo. Va a encontrar la paz, la serenidad y mucha comodidad y el espacio para llamar a casa mientras está de vacaciones y aún así sólo unos minutos de la ciudad histórica y conveniente de Waimea. El centro de la ciudad ofrece muchas y tiendas exclusivas, galerías de arte, mercados de agricultores y excelentes opciones de comida casual y elegante. Quiet Waimea neighborhood

This is a comfortable home in a quiet Waimea neighborhood. There’s a beautiful pasture behind the house with a few cows roaming around. It’s a very short drive to grocery stores, restaurants and farmers’ markets. It’s a great location for accessing both sides of the island. It is a bit of a drive to Volcano NP, but still doable. The beautiful Kohala beaches are also close by. We were also close to some great hiking trails. So all in all, this is a great jumping off point for most of the island.

And absolutely elegant place to stay and elegant place to stay

This place turned out to be a real gem. Located in a residential area just outside Weimia on the Big Island, it was the perfect place to explore the entire Island. It was easy to get to everywhere even Southpoint. The furnishings were excellent and the host supplied practically everything you would need other than your food and toiletries. Very spacious rooms with large beds. If there was any complaint it would be the internet was very slow - but adequate for our needs. Also cell service was pretty spotty, but probably depended upon what carrier you were using. But all of that is somewhat expected except for the large urban areas in Hawaii. Nothing to host could have done about it anyway. We would recommend this rental should you be looking for a centralized location that is practically located to All Points of interest for an extended stay. We had stayed previously in a condo in Kailua Kona and other times in Hilo and traveling to the other side of the island or down south you would be pressed for time in a day. Staying in Waimea there was plenty of daylight even a Trek to South Point.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.

Lovely home for 2 couples. Both beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the view from the deck toward the mountains is hindered by the bamboo. We really appreciated using the cooler and beach items.

Perfect family home

I rented it for the views in the picture, and it did not disappoint. We are small town people who live in the country with livestock of our own, to have the backyard view that it does was absolutely beautiful to us, it’s a short drive to anything you want to see, beaches or mountains. The home is beautiful and well put together and very clean.. It has everything you need for a short to long-term day. Communication was absolutely excellent even when I had to ask a few stupid questions, she got right back to me. The neighborhood was perfect, little kids playing on their go karts families hanging out watching the game on Thanksgiving, it was like driving home in the afternoons. It felt like you moved right in, not rented a place for a few days.

Beautiful Location

Wee loved looking over the pasture at the cows while drinking our coffee in the morning. Sweet house and very clean. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

A Perfect Place to Relax and Unwind

We had an incredible stay in Waimea! The house was wonderfully cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Another Amazing Stay

This was the Fifth time we stayed at this beautiful hale. JoAnn is a wonderful host, fast communications. The home is in a fantastic location no matter where you want to travel on the island. Home away from home+

The house was immaculate with everything you could think of and more. It was the perfect size for us and so very cozy, especially with the fireplace. I loved the peace and quiet and the overall setting was beautiful with the deck overlooking the pasture. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. Waimea Fabulous!

The house is awesome. Wonderful neighborhood, dead end street. We felt safe & comfortable. House is stocked with anything you may need for cooking, beach, restaurant & activity referrals. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The fireplace was much appreciated early mornings & evening. The view of the pasture from the lanai is breathtaking! We would definitely stay again.

Home away from home

Great place to stay and get an experience of the area. The home is cute and comfortable has a great lanai with a view of the pastures and old growth trees and a quiet neighborhood. Who would ever think that a fireplace actually might be used in Hawaii but we enjoyed it so much.

Lovely, quiet place to stay

I highly recommend the house-both the property itself and Waimea. It is a calm, beautiful spot to wake in the morning and close distance to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We stayed three nights and were very happy.

A change of pace

We have been lucky enough to stay on the Big Island 10+ times over the years and this was our first time staying in Waimea. We really enjoyed the cooler evenings and never having to worry about air conditioning. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The bed was more comfortable than I usually expect to find in a rental. Communication and check in all went smoothly. There are several farmers markets during the week where you can pick up fresh baked good, produce and grab a bite at a food truck. The only thing to consider is that you are further away from the beaches compared to staying on the coast. For the price I thought it was a really good value. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed our time seeing a different side of Hawaii.

Perfect place for a stay on the Big Island

Perfect home for a stay on the big island. Everything you could need is there. Great backyard with fruit trees. Quiet cooler nights. We enjoyed being by the ocean at Hapuna Beach during the day and quiet relaxing at the house during the nights. The owners and maintenance are very responsive. I highly recommend this home. We will be back again.

Waimea stay feedback

It is a nice cozy little house in the heart of a Hawaiian countryside. Quite pleasant patio. Great backyard with many fruit trees and a bamboo wall separating the house from neighbors. Wish we could plant a bamboo wall in our backyard as well. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy. The house is a little old but very clean and it is newly renovated. The kitchen has everything that it needs. The mattresses were soft and nice to sleep on. The only minus that we saw was the lack of beach equipment, which is explainable because most people staying here are not people that go to the beach. The house isn't too far from Hilo. Overall it is very comfortable and big enough for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids.

Located about 2,600 feet above sea level, Waimea is cooler than living along the coastline, yet is just a few minutes drive from some of the best beaches on island. It really is the best of both worlds! It is so beautiful with gingers, jasmine and green pastures and cool temperatures all year long. The beautiful lush and mature landscaping is a perfect private setting to sit and enjoy the views. Waimea is located between Hilo and Kona, so both sides of the island are easily accessible. The town is about 5 minutes away from the home.

Waimea is the land of rolling green hills, cowboys, and horses. We are blessed with truly beautiful landscape plus incredible views of the Kohala Mountains, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Hualalai. Sit on the patio deck in the morning and evening and view the occasional cows grazing on a huge pasture behind the house. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood where neighbors wave hello as they pass by. Lots of fruit trees and flowering plants.
