Absolutely stunning views in a beautiful, well-appointed home! Great hiking nearby, ample shopping in the cute town of West Jefferson, and delicious food & shopping at Third Day Market nearby. The owners are a joy to work with and quick to communicate. We have stayed here many times.

The house was everything we could have asked for. The view was stunning and the hot tub and game room kept the kids entertained. Plenty of room for 3 families of 4. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Long Weekend

The property is incredible and the view is spectacular. Would highly recommend for any size outing. If you want a nice workout, try the Paddy Mountain Trail, a new facility in West Jefferson. The host was very responsive.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

This was a beautiful location, clean cabin, and great amenities. Everything we needed me more. We had a women’s retreat with 10 women, and there was plenty of room! Thank you for a great experience! We also enjoyed going into the town of West Jefferson to explore!

This is wonderful cabin, excellent views and plenty of space. There seem to be a lot of storage locations that are reserved to the owner, which is their right but that did impinge a little on responsibly storing some of the gear we brought; not a big deal but if your group is large factor it in your planning. House was clean, well stocked and everything seemed to work fine. Host was great, pleasant to work with and all went well.Small negatives to be aware of; there was an absence of shower/bath soap or body wash. Plenty of hand and dish washing soap but it's a good thing my suitcase always has a couple of small hotel sized bars somewhere in it. We were there in August and the deck/hot tub can be very sunny and thus hot. View is great, and I would love to be in it in October but since the balcony faces south in the summer months you'll need sunscreen out there. Spring and Fall will be wonderful here.

Thanksgiving in the mountains

The house is perfect for a family gathering. Main floor is very open with an amazing view of the mountains. Lower floor is great for children and adults to play games. We all enjoyed our time at the home.

Peaceful and Beautiful

Very clean, organized, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs room was great for the kids. We loved the house and really enjoyed our stay!

Has everything you need for a family trip!

This was a beautiful home with am amazing view. We stayed a weekend with family and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, appliances, dishes, and utensils, which made preparing meals so much easier. We look forward to staying again!

Our family loved everything about this beautiful home. It is very clean and worth every penny spent.

For the first time on a vacation we actually loved staying in, there was so much to do with the children in the downstairs arcade. The children enjoyed Smores by the fire overlooking the beautiful view. The house was very clean and sanitary we will for sure be visiting again soon!

Spacious mountain home

This is a wonderful home that must be experienced to be fully appreciated. Beyond the mountain views that go on forever, my family appreciated the multi-level and expansive separate living spaces. The basement with its games was a great place for the kids to escape. It was especially appreciated given that we stayed during a period of inclement weather. The property manager was especially attentive and helped us with all questions/concerns in real time. 10/10 in every way.

Family gathering

Spent our second Thanksgiving week at this property and once again had an awesome time. The house is perfect for our crew from 3 years old to 65. The kids (little and big) once again loved the game room, while everyone enjoyed the views. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing Stay!

We had the most incredible weekend at Paddy's Peak. The house and location are absolutely stunning! The host was very responsive and helpful, as well. You will most definitely need 4WD if there's any chance of inclement weather. We can not say enough great things about our experience. Look forward to staying at Paddy's Peak in the future!

Breathtaking

Very clean, many extras in kitchen , scenery was breathtaking. Watched sunsets and sunrises from deck using the fire pit. Just beautiful. But I’m not used to mountains so Driveway was challenging at night for us.

Beautiful and spacious cabin!!

The cabin is well equipped with all the comforts we needed. Two toddlers and several adults all enjoyed the cabin, especially the views. Positioned high up on the mountain with spectacular views. Yes, the drive up is a bit scary, just ensure you’re in a powerful vehicle. Easy 10min drive to West Jefferson. Wonderful location! Overall, a wonderful experience!!

Hiking vacation in NC

Great home, amazing views, room to spread out and accommodate a larger party! We had a day of very wet weather, so the kids (and adults) got to make use of the basement with all the games! One word of caution - as mentioned in previous reviews - steep driveway which can be challenging for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Otherwise a fun stay!
