Wonderful time away from home

Wide open living space for everyone to be included. Lovely woodsy setting but very quick stroll to the beach. Interior space was well designed and provided for a pleasant environment. Cable tv did drop/buffer on more than one occasion, but it was back online shortly. No issue with comfort of beds/sofas. Office is easily accessible and super kind and helpful. Will stay again for sure!

Lovely Neighborhood Short Walk to Beach

House was clean, and in a very nice, quiet, safe, residential neighborhood with lots of trees. House was well-appointed with all necessary items and comfortable furniture and beds. Very nice back porch with deer walking by intermittently. Short walk to the beach. We used the grill to cook dinner. All appliances and other features of the house were updated and in good working order. Would recommend this house and would stay there again.

A relaxing vacation

The property met all our needs. We have stayed at Jekyll numerous times and stayed at different properties. This one feels like home away from home.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in A Touch of Tuscany three times now. We love the location and the home, as it has several nice amenities such as screened porch, outdoor shower, 5-7 minute walk to the beach; however, the cleanliness of the property could be improved. There were also a few issues that I emailed Jekyll Realty about (as I was advised this is the preferred way if communication) and I received a response after our vacation was over. Also, the washer and dryer were replaced with new ones but now are much smaller and does not accommodate washing for the amount of people the home accommodates. The couch also had a pet couch cover on it (something I wouldn't expect for the price). We rented from another rental agency on Jekyll last year and their homes are much cleaner. Again, love this home and the location but disappointed in the customer service from Jekyll Realty and the cleanliness of the home for the price we paid.

Long weekend family stay at this beautifully appointed, clean home. Kitchen has everything you need, washer & dryer, plenty of space & a great location in a quiet neighborhood. We'll stay again!

Good as advertised

Awesome stay. Close to the beach & a 5 minute drive to the Convention Center (I was there for a professional conference). The place was clean & the king bed was great, very comfortable. The master bathroom was terrific too with a nice roomy shower. I highly recommend & will stay here the next time I attend the yearly conference.

Everything was comfortable, kitchen had everything that was needed to prepare meals. Outdoor shower was a plus. The owner really needs to supply throw rugs throughout the house. No rugs at any entryway. Rugs would really help to protect the beautiful floors throughout the house. The house itself needs a deep cleaning. The vent fan covers were very dusty. Loved the location of the house.

Turtle Hatchlings and Deer

Perfect location to meet Dawn Patrol over our two week stay to see turtle hatchlings on the beach. A bonus was the backyard forest with deer including fawns. The house was perfect for three people but could have easily taken more guests. Beautiful outdoor screened porch added even more room in this beautiful home. A must stay!

Two families came together for a great time!

Two families came together for a great time at Touch of Tuscany at Jekyll Beach! This unit was just a walk to the peaceful beach and a short drive to pool access backed by another beach access. We had brought a wagon for our beach needs and our bikes to enjoy the trails. The garage access was a wonderful feature so we could safely store all of our items! There was ample space inside for all of our things and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. When we were “home”, the outdoor screened in patio was a great place to wind down. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This is the second time staying in this house the renovations are amazing. I would not have looked at this house because when I stayed before it was very dark inside the house. Family Vacation

The layout of this house is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty of storage places. Enough seating for our family of 8. We loved the sunroom. The temperature allowed us to sit out there in the morning and evening. It was quiet and peaceful. Nice outside shower and backyard. We are talking about staying here next year.

Reviewer Comments: I loved my 10 days on jekyll, I like a touch of Tuscany, very quiet neighborhood, we didn’t like slipcovers on the furniture, the couch slipcover kept coming off, thought we had use of the garage but garage door opener was disconnected and was full with a golf cart etc. we thought we would be able to put our rented red bug in it but no room, jekyll reality was great, had an issue with the t.v., the young man came right away and fixed it

Beach is available all day at this access point - a major plus for our beach loving family. Spacious interior with separated bedrooms provided good privacy between the adult couples. House is close to shopping and restaurants, but has the feel of a safe, comfortable and quiet neighborhood. The house was as pictured on the website and reasonably priced compared to other locations. Lots of relaxing room.

Never Disappoints
