I should have paid more attention to the fact that there weren't more recent reviews of this property. We had a lovely time there, but the house could use some TLC. The outdoor furniture was rusted and not inviting. There are beautiful large windows facing the water, but with a sign that said not to lower the shades because they're delicate. (Not a great idea for a rental.) And there were other small things that added up and detracted from the stay. But otherwise, the beds are comfortable, the house and hot tub were clean, and the view lovely. We had an issue with check-in--we were given a key and not a code, but then could only get in with a code--but the property management company was quick to respond and figure things out for us. I would definitely stay at another home managed by the same property manager, but I doubt we'd stay in this home again.

Large rooms for shared space, also a sweet garden and hot tub in the back of the house. House is well stocked and clearly well loved. It is not fancy, but very comfortable. Great access to Mt Tam hiking trails, but a steep walk up from town.

Beautiful getaway

This hidden little gem of a house was perfect for the four of us while out here attending a family wedding. Walking distance to everything. Beautiful surroundings, clean spacious house - everything we needed provided.

Perfect Getaway!!!

Talk about breathtaking views!! My husband and I could spend all day on the deck were it not for the beach, the great walking/hiking opportunities, as well as convenient amenities in town. You have such a peaceful feeling of being on a vacation somewhere far away that it's hard to believe you are only about 45 minutes from SF. It's really a great way to spend a weekend (or more) and truly difficult to leave! We will certainly be returning!!

Natural Beauty!

I needed a few days away from the urbanity of my life in Oakland and San Francisco. This was a perfect fit. The minute you open the gate into the lush, storybook garden, it feels like you've arrived in a natural paradise. There is a garden deck with table and loungers and a nice hot-tub and outdoor shower. The house is bright and uncluttered, wall to wall windows with show-stopping views of the ocean. At night, sitting out on the front deck, the stars are bright and amazing - I even saw a shooting star! If you know how to use a fancy telescope, there is one provided. The beds are big and cozy with nice comforters and good pillows. The kitchen is modern, well-stocked in terms of cooking implements - and you can prepare and cook while looking out to the ocean with the sound of the surf in the background! The house is walking distance from town (if you can do a little uphill on the way back), in a quiet residential neighborhood, nestled into the hills - so no backyard neighbors peering over into the yard. If you just can't take the beauty anymore, or want to keep up with the news, there is a large-screen t.v. with cable discreetly placed in an alcove of the living room.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

My husband and I loved staying in this gorgeous house in Stinson Beach. The views will stop you in your tracks, with the endless windows and spacious deck. The house is a short walk down to the center of this charming town. (We loved eating dinner at Parkside after a walk on the beach.) The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. There's a beautiful garden and we really enjoyed the hot tub, too! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Stunning Views, Great Service

I had the pleasure of staying at this Stinson Beach home this past weekend, and let me tell you, I was surprised at how much I could like a place! First off, the views from the deck overlook the ocean during sunset, completely unimpeded, directly off of the living area - breathtaking. Another afternoon, we hopped into the hot tub - perfect after a morning run! This place has such an open feel - there were only a couple of us there, but I could easily see entertaining here...heck, the kitchen has a lot of cooking goodies - I am pretty sure I even saw a breadmaker...I'll definitely be back!

Perfect Experience!

We really enjoyed this home. The views from the living room and deck looking out over Stinson is stunning. We saw whales! And the views of the mountains behind the home are also exceptional. You may not want to leave the home, but of course if you do all you have to do is walk down to the beach which is about a five minute walk. And you'll walk right past the small market and an expresso bar. You'll love this place.

Great for family getaway

We stayed here with our 3 young children and had a blast hanging out at the beach. Everything within walking distance, once we got there we parked the car in the driveway and didn't need it for the rest of our trip! House has everything you need, beds comfortable, and very clean. Hot tub was nice at end of day. Views are amazing! Will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

My husband & I really enjoyed our weekend here. From the moment we walked in Friday afternoon, we felt like we were on vacation! We especially enjoyed having cocktails on the deck with the wonderful views. There are spectacular ocean views from several rooms. It's very comfortable and well-decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. The town and beach are just down the hill. We hated leaving on Sunday! We would love to spend some time here in the summer.

Beautiful view, great amenities, nothing but relaxation

We loved being able to arrive, relax, enjoy the views, and have a wonderful time without having to leave. While Stinson Beach has some great restaurants, we enjoyed using the grill and eating on the deck - looking out over the ocean. Wherever you are in the house, you have wonderful views - everything is so peaceful. What a great way to relax! We will be back!

Perfect stay!

Nestled just above downtown Stinson Beach, this place is fantastic! Beautiful home with incredible views all around. Lots of light with spacious rooms throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family or romantic getaway!

Paradise, paradise, paradise

My husband and I had an amazing weekend of relaxation and recuperation at this lovely home. The views are truly incredible and the house is immaculate and spacious. We loved the fact that you could sit on the deck and do nothing but stare at the ocean, or five minutes away, have a great meal out or a fantastic hike (views galore there too). We would highly recommend Stinson Beach in general and this house in particular. We will definitely be back.

A Paradise escape!

We stayed for my birthday and I have to say this place is a perfect escape to paradise on the Marin coast. At the base of Mount Tamalpias and only a few minute walk to the beach at Stinson, it couldn't get any better but it does. The views from the very large deck are spectacular. The kitchen and living space are so bright and comfy I didn't want to leave. Each spacious bed room has its own bathroom and they are separated by the kitchen and living space. This is a great layout for 2 couples. I won't forget the glass of wine and sunset on the deck, ever. Stinson beach, the local stores and restaurants are an easy walk or a 2 minute drive down the hill. There wasn't any amenity missing, including Wifi. The only bad part about this place is that I don't own it! Can't wait to go back.
