The Zattere Luxury Apartment was lovely in every way! Fabulous view of the Venice lagoon, an interior that was museum quality, and Giorgio, a gracious and very accommodating host!! He catered to our every need and provided a list of the best spots to eat in the area. The location was within walking distance of all the historical spots on our list and a 10 minute water taxi ride to our Windstar cruise dock. I highly recommend his beautiful apartment to all who visit Venice!

Giorgio was a great host! The apartment was beautiful with everything my family of seven needed. The pictures of the apartment were just like the ones posted online. No surprises. Giorgio was very kind and caring and did his best to make our stay a great experience. I would highly recommend staying at the Zattere Luxury Apartment. Very close to everything you need in Venice.

Fabulous Digs in Venice!

I cannot stress how wonderful this place is. It is on the quieter side of Venice yet easy access to St. Marks square either by water bus or on foot. Giorgio is a wonderful and responsive host. We had everything we needed and more. The wonderful sitting areas made gathering very easy. Thank you so much Giorgio!

Beautiful home with a view

My adult children and I had a perfect stay in this beautiful apartment. I only wish we had stayed longer. We were welcomed by Giorgio and given a tour of his family home. It is pretty in the photos and more beautiful in person. Two kitchens! Balconies and very nice bathrooms. Comfortable beds! Loved the location away from the crowds but easy to get anywhere.

Fabulous experience

The stay was perfect. The owner was so helpful and kind. He made sure we got a water taxi and helped us into the property. Plenty of space. Spotlessly clean and ask the host anything and he helped out. The heat was horrible and it was a pleasure to come back to this lovely cool property.

Amazing Flat, spectacular location

This flat was amazing. It had more than enough room for our party of 9. All the rooms were different and all were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well appointed, good showers and plenty of hot water. We had the whole flat, so it came with 2 kitchens with everything you could need and the flat also had laundry. This flat is so unique, it was Giorgio's home and you really felt like you were home. Giorgio himself was so helpful. Easy to contact and quick to respond. He met us at the flat and gave us a detailed tour. He was full of helpful information and helped us to book an early morning water taxi to the airport. The location of the flat is perfect. Right on the water. Nothing better than sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and gazing out on the water. Perfecto!

Perfect family home for the holidays

This large, comfortable apartment is located overlooking the Giudecca canal, in the quiet, residential Dorsoduro district. It was easily accessible to San Marco, Rialto etc by a short walk (15min) or quick vaporetto ride, and useful things like groceries or fantastic restaurants were also within a ten minute walk. We were greeted every morning by a chorus of bells! It is on an upper floor (there is an elevator if needed), of a secure building - the views were gorgeous, and it was fascinating to watch the various boats and ships that use the canal as Venetians went about their everyday life. The apartment itself is nicely appointed and well equipped. It was elegant but welcoming, and we were made to feel at home away from home. There is plenty of room for a large family or two, with enough space to have some privacy or gather as the mood strikes. It was a perfect place to celebrate the holidays together! Two double bedrooms were up a fairly steep set of stairs but two others were on the main level, if accessibility needs to be considered for your group. The costs were very reasonable as compared to staying in an equivalently luxurious hotel, and allowed so much flexibility and savings in terms of meals as well as shared space if you choose. The owner is as gracious and welcoming as his home. He was easy to connect with by email, with excellent English, and very available once we were in the city. He went above and beyond for us, receiving a package that had been posted ahead as well as making recommendations which would suit our needs. He is the perfect host for a grand city like Venice! Overall it was a wonderful stay and perfectly suited our needs as we celebrated Christmas in this magical city. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Location

Great place. Very good location - next to a waterbus stop in front taking you to all places in Venice. The back side of the building is very quiet at night (and mostly during the day also). The front room has a gorgeous view, but sometimes you here the boats passing. Good restaurants nearby. Giorgio (the host) can help with anything you want around Venice. Very helpful and well informed. Speaks excellent English.

Très agréable appartement

Appartement â la situation exceptionnelle avec vue sublime sur l'île de la Giudecca, vaporetto devant la porte et proximité de l'Academie comme de St Marc. L'ensemble est très spacieux avec decor et atmosphère de vieil appartement de famille. Chambres de tailles tres inégales mais sanitaires nombreux et parfaitement équipés . l'ensemble fut idéal pour y vivre quelques jours de rêve avec nos enfants et petits-enfants . L'hospitalité et la gentillesse de Giorgio sont â souligner. Vive Venise!

The apartment is incredible!

This apartment is great!!! The view is incredible and Giorgio is an awesome host. He met us at the water bus stop (that is about 30 feet from the apartment) and walked us to the place. It could not have been easier! We were there during what we were told was the hottest period in 150 years. It was crazy hot outside, but the air conditioning inside was great. Not that we spent a lot of time at the apartment, but when you did go back it was refreshing. As for the apartment, it as very roomy with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family. Here's the thing. If you want to be in the middle of the tourist area, with crowds and noise, then this place is not for you. If you want a place that is right on the water, an easy walk or easier bus boat ride to EVERYTHING, in a very safe area, close by market and banks, great restaurants, BUT is quiet and uncrowded, then this is the place for you. Not sure if Giorgio is going to put it up or not, but I took a great panoramic picture off of the front balcony of the main canal out front. If there is a panoramic picture with a flying bird on the right half of the picture, that is mine. It is the view you will have if you rent this place. Simply amazing!

Fabulous Apartment!

We spent 4 nights here with our large family. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, there was ample room for all of us, the view is magnificent, Georgio was most gracious, even coming over to help with an emergency lockout. We will definitely go back and rent this home again, and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable home while visiting Venice!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil par le propriétaire et sa disponibilité en cas de problème. Tout de suite,nous avons pu vivre au rythme de la vie Vénitienne avec l'activité du canal sous nos fenêtres. C'était très agréable de profiter de Venise, d'une part à l'écart de la foule des touristes, et d'autre part à proximité des lignes de vaporetto, des restaurants et des commerces pour les courses. que du plaisir avec l'envie d'y revenir

PERFECT

The house is really beautiful, confortable and well equipped. We were 8 people and had 6 rooms and 4 bathrooms at our disposal. The position is also very convenient for visiting the most interesting sites in Venice, as well as for the proximity with points of interest. The landlord was also very kind and helpful. We were all very satisfied and happy with our choice.

"Fantastische Lage direkt am Giudecca-Kanal; sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und weitläufig, ausgestattet mit 2 Küchen, eine davon mit Terrasse zum Frühstücken im Freien. Für jedes der 4 Schlafzimmer steht ein eigenes Bad zur Verfügung, für 2 Zimmer eine kleine private Terrasse. Von außergewöhnlich guter Qualität sind die Betten. Die Wohnung ist in sehr gutem Zustand."

"L''alloggio è molto bello, curato negli arredi e di particolare fascino aristocratico. Una ricca libreria e una boiseries di un tempo, raccontano agli ospiti della dimora i fasti di una Venezia "Antica". La visuale magnifica che si apprezza dall''appartamento, non solo è di grande suggestione, ma ti permette alla sera di cenare a lume di candela avvolti dai mille riflessi di luce che l''acqua del canale della Giudecca dona alla grande sala. Il proprietario è una persona molto gentile, disponibile ed alconempo discreta e riservata, sa ricevere i suoi ospiti come un vero padrone di casa. Una dimora magica, che consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono scoprire Venezia per la prima volta e perchè no proprio come farò io ritornando altre volte con la mia famiglia per togliermi dallo stress metropolitano."

"Appartement très vaste magnifiquement situé sur la Fondamenta Zattere, adjacent l''église Spirito e Santo, il bénificie d''une vue extraordinaire sur le canal et l''île de la Giudecca. Le Redentore et son architecte Palladio sont en face avec San Giorgio un peu plus loin. Les commerces encore un peu plus loin vers le port sont abordables par une ballade très agréable sur la Fondamenta Zattere. Le musée Pinault de la Dogana, la Salute sont à proximité."

In addition, you feel the soul and the spirit of people who lived here, who created an aristocratic way of life.
