¡Casa aloha tiene todas las flores de plumeria que necesitas oler y en la noche es simplemente increíble! ¡Prometo como perfume y también toda la fruta para recoger cuando esté madura! Plátanos, mangos, papayas, mangarina, guanábana, avacados, limones

Casa aloha adentro tiene todo lo que necesitas con Sky TV por cable en las habitaciones, aire acondicionado, el maestro tiene un rey con sofá cama,
 la habitación 2 tiene cama queen y habitación individual 3 queen y habitación completa 4 tiene reina y habitación individual 5 queen y cama matrimonial.
¡Fuera de la jungla hay en todas partes y cuando los monos te despierten, solo abre la puerta del balcón y bam! Ahí están, tan cerca, y otras veces puedes ver pizzoties, mapaches, armadillos, iguanas por todas partes, ardillas y pájaros también llegan a la casa. ¡Solo digamos que hay mucha naturaleza y está viva aquí!

awesome jungle house walking distance to surf

we stayed in Nosara for 12 days with our 4 kids ages 7-14. casa aloha was a great house and fit all our needs - ac in the bedrooms, washer/dryer, a pool, and walking distance to the beach. we were able to rent a golf cart from tyler and the process could not have been easier. awesome vacation!

Great location, a little confusion, a little dated, great owner.

I did not get an email of the check in process in advance. I messaged the owner (Tyler) on VRBO and he got back to me in plenty of time. There is also a property manager on-site who showed us around, but it was tough to communicate with him (only spoke Spanish). The rooms were nice as well as the kitchen. Wifi was good, Pool was great as well as the Sofas (unfortunately there was no A/C in the living room/dining room/kitchen area but the fans kept it cool enough in the morning and evenings). A grill was listed as there, but not on property. After speaking to the owner one was brought over( not sure where it was before that). There were other items listed on VRBO as amenities that were also not there like surf boards and bikes as well as coolers/chairs for the beach. In speaking with the owner again it seems maybe like this was an old listing and he did allow us use of some personal bikes and boards:). There were other missing things that were listed as included such as a hair dryer and a washer and dryer. The property manager said we could use a washer and dryer across the way for $10 though. A/C in the rooms were fine, but I can say the beds need a refresh as they were a little hard/dated. If there was an A/C in the main living area it would have made a huge difference for us. All of that being said, I would still recommend. Location/Space/pool/Lush landscape/Howler monkeys right outside! . Nice sitting area on balcony! And a helpful owner when help is needed! Pura Vida:)

Great family vacation. Coming back next year

Perfect place for family. Pool was nice for hot afternoon. If u have small ones I would recommend Dan limos they rent golf carts. We had our own vehicle. Mickey the manager was the sweetest. We've been to nosara several times was first time for kids 10 and 11. They had a blast. We went to coconut harrys booked us an atv which was awesome. We went zip lining thru Miss sky go to nosara Beach hotel to book cash only. Went to our favorite local place rosis and the largata lunge the eco tour closes at 4pm but have a sunset dinner was amazing everything is in walking distance if need be grab a cab with one of the tuk tuks. Kids enjoyed. The place had everything and alot of space there was 6 of us. Rooms were spacious perfect and relaxing. Tyler was very responsive as well as mixkey. Rent boards right in property which was great.

Perfect stay in CR

The house is large with plenty of beds and space. We had a group of 7 and there was enough room for 9-10 people/couples. Everything was as pictured, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and linens. The private pool is a great for those hot afternoons coming back from the beach! The house is on a property with multiple units but you feel secluded with the landscaping. Hammocks and loungers are great. The property manager lives on site and is very helpful/accessible. Anything you need and he’s on top of it. Easy communication from the owner with very easy check-in and directions. The location is perfect! A short walk to the beach and in the middle of everything in town. You can literally walk to all the shops and restaurants, grocery and market. There are individual air conditioning units in the bedrooms, but not in the common areas which was fine with just the ceiling fans. It did get a little warm while cooking in the kitchen but not bad. There is a funky electrical short with the oven that can shock you while opening the oven door, but if you were shoes/slippers while cooking then it should be fine and use oven mitt to grab handle according to the property manager when we brought it up to him. Wifi reached all the bedrooms. Master has a private balcony with hammock, upstairs balcony, and great front porch leading out to the pool. They have a variety of old surfboards to rent at a reasonable price, but we brought our own boards. They do a mid week cleaning and linen change while there which was nice to have. We were there during the dry season and the landscaping was still “green” for the season. There were howler monkeys and iguanas and beautiful birds. Paradise is an understatement. We will definitely stay here again, it’s everything you need for an incredible Costa Rican vacation.

Huge Disappointment!!

Let me start by saying the location of this property is excellent. Close to the beach and restaurants. We walked everywhere! That being said, we only stayed here one night because that was all we could take. Upon check in, it was clear that maintenance was a problem. The pictures are extremely outdated. It was not “gated” as indicated. There was a gate but it was never shut. No bicycles ( there was a bicycle graveyard only one worked), no trampoline, basketball hoop was there but net was in shreds, garbage around pool, and grounds that looked lush in the pictures were dried out. We had been in communication with owner Tyler prior to our trip. Although reviews said he was on site he was actually in Hawaii. The on site manager, who was very nice, spoke very little English. It was difficult to communicate with him. We had asked Tyler to line up a cook for us and he could never make that happen. Several emails were exchanged on this prior to our trip. I’m sure it’s hard from Hawaii. The on site manager met us as he lived next door and walked us through the house. The home was not clean, sheets were wrinkled and found hairs and stain like they had not been washed, towels were old and ratty and the biggest towel next to the sink in the master was a wash cloth size. Not enough towels for our group and no beach towels provided. Had to ask and more ratty towels were brought over. Beds only had a top sheet. No other blankets. Far cry from the beds shown in the pictures with comforters and towels made to look like swans! A/C unit in one bedroom leaking water all night filling a 2 gallon bucket. Many units would not regulate. Upstairs bath faucet had brown water coming out of it. Washer and dryer on premise was like nothing I had ever seen before. The washer had a garden hose running in it, then had to be transferred to a separate spinner and then back to be rinsed and spun again. At least that’s what I gathered from the managers limited English. Didn’t even inspect the dryer as we determined we wouldn’t be standing there for hours doing laundry on this trip. This property was such a disappointment that we got up the next morning and found another home that we could move to. We called Tyler in Hawaii that am and left him a message Explaining why we were leaving. On site mgr was gone all that day. Tried 3x. Glad we found another home. We were extremely disappointed with this property.

Large space for families

We stayed there with 4 kids (ages 9,8,6 and 4). Good: The place is Huge! Great bedroom and bathroom space. Kitchen is fine and TV area is good for the kids. Pool was good (size and temperature). It's SOO hot in Nosara so in the afternoons it was great to have a place to swim (and there was some shade in the late afternoon). It is walking distance to everything (beach, shops, restaurants). We had young kids so renting a golf cart would be ideal, as we were averaging 20-30k steps a day (and again, it is super hot outside). Tyler seems like a great guy and and answered all my questions over email quite quickly. The property manager was available anytime as well and was very pleasant as well. Air conditioning was good in the bedrooms. A cleaner came every 3 days, which was nice as the place gets covered in sand. Not so great: -Internet connection was not good. We found the best internet connection at Cafe Paris. -The place is dated and could benefit from some fresh decor (some white paint, fresh curtains, get rid of all the knickknacks, old paintings and the dark wood tables/dark couches, maybe even paint the kitchen?!). -It felt quite dark inside and there are bars on all the windows, so it also felt a bit confining when you are inside. I'm only saying this because I think the place could be amazing if it was freshened up with some new/modern decor inside and some nicer outdoor pool/patio furniture. -Laundry was a bit of a process so we only did it once. Final note: There are a lot of modern places popping up in Nosara. This place has the size, the bones and the location to be a great place, it just needs some updating.

Nice house in Nosara, walking distance to Playa Guiones

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Aloha. Walking distance to great surf, restaurants and other interests in the area. The on site manager was very accessible and helpful. Private swimming pool was clean and cool.

Beautiful pool & great location.

We stayed two families (4 adults & 5 kids) and the house was big enough with rooms on two floors and it is well located 5 min walk from the beach and 8 min to downtown. Bikes available were very useful to get around. The pool is really nice and super warm.

We loved this place...Tyler was the best!

The house was perfect for our group. Board rentals on site. Tyler was able to get us a good deal on quads for the week. Wish we had kniwn there are other Cabinas on the property because morenpeople wanted to join us. Would definitley recommend!

I took 8 people to Costa Rica and Casa Aloha didn't disappoint.

We spent 8 great days in Nosara and Casa Aloha was perfect for our stay. It was comfortable, clean and close to everything we needed. Tyler was very helpful and gracious with the local knowledge. Everything fit our needs to have a successful trip.

Great location, great house!

Our family plus friends stayed here for a week, 4 adults and 3 kids under 6. House is big, functional and our host Tyler made the stay fantastic. Good food, beach is 5 minutes away. Every night we went to the beach to watch the sunset and every morning we woke to the pool being cleaned and a breakfast swim. My 10th time in CR and Nosara is the place I'd retire to. Awesome vibe and has everything you need.

Great 2 weeks at this house. Great Location. Great town. Plenty to do and a wonderful place not to do anything also. Easy walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. Tyler, the owner, was extremely helpful with all questions and went out of his way to give assistance when needed. The house had everything we needed for a great vacation including a well maintained pool. Can't recommend any higher. Plan to return in the future!

Perfect Location

What an adventure. Nosara is a bit of a hike from Liberia airport - about 2.5 hours away - but well worth the treck. Tyler, the owner, connected us with a cab service that was excellent - they waited for us at the airport. Once you reach the house, you realize how great the location is -- near everything you need a short 10 minute walk to the beach. It's also about 10 minutes to the shops, restaurants and a mini market perfect for keeping snack food in the house. We enjoyed having Tyler next door - he was extremely helpful and knowledgable and made our stay easy. The property itself is a lot of fun - there are smaller rental units on the lot, and the shared pool is beautiful. The environment lends itself to meeting some great new people during your stay. We went in January, so it was hot during the day. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms worked very well - keeping us cool at night. It can get warm in the house, though, so be prepared to lounge outside in the comfortable hammocks. Although everything is relatively close by, you may want to rent an ATV or golf cart for getting around. There are a few places that rent these a short walk away. We especially enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the monkeys howling in the early morning. While we had the conveniences of a home, it still had a feeling of being very close to nature. There is an outside washer/dryer that is available for all to share if you need to wash any clothes during your stay. Although we didn't have a dishwasher, we really didn't need it - most of our meals were enjoyed at the local restaurants which were very good. We took advantage of the bikes and surf boards that Tyler had at the house. The bikes and boards are older, but they worked out well for us. We also enjoyed the basketball hoop - had a lot of fun playing between our surf adventures and outings. If you have the time, go on the Miss Sky zipline canopy tour. It's about a 15 minute ride from the house - we took a bus service that was prompt and convenient - picked us right up at the house. The tour was amazing - zipping hundreds of feet above the jungle. Was a perfect way to spend our last afternoon in Nosara.

Stayed for 9 days with 8 people at Casa Aloha. Description of the rental is very accurate - 5 bedroom with 3 baths. Oversized Master was great with own balcony. Another great room for couple with front balcony. Three other bedrooms good for sharing for kids. We had 20 year olds and it was perfect. Nice Kitchen with all the stuff to cook meals. Good sized living room/dining room. Veranda with access to pool. Good sized pool but not big enough to swim. The property is private - own garage, gate and landscaped grounds. Has all the toys needed - pool toys, surf boards, bikes, basketball etc. Real reason to come to Nosara is the beaches - its a cool vibe place with great great beach. Outrageous surf and sunsets. Easy walk to beach and restuarants. Can drive to Turtle beach (ostional), or to snorkle/swim beach (or long walk) - south Guiones, or to beach bars (Playa Plada). or to another cool town/swim beach - Smara.We rented 4 wheel drive from Liberia - 2 hour drive - easy but last 30 min is dirt roads - in fact everything in Nosara is dirt roads. Getting used to dust too a couple of days - then we really loved the laid back atmosphere. We rented ATVs for the kids - they had a blast. Everybody tried surfing. and there are schools if you really want to learn.They went ziplining too, and had great time. Wifey took a day at the spa - good masseuse and facial. Daughter did some yoga. They got some world renown places. Took SUV north and south and had to ford 3 ft deep rivers to get to the turtle beach - real adventure stuff. There is fishing for sailfish and its supposed to be pretty good, but was a little off when we were there so didnt do it, but somebody on the plane had 11 sails at Nosara in one day while we were there.One of the best parts of the stay was that with 8 people - all adults 2 couples and 2 kids each with 1 friend - we all went in different directions and met up at the end of the day with great stories to tell about the cool things they did that day. Nosara is really international community - so we made friends from Germany, England, Uraguay, as well as some Costa Ricians from San Jose on vacation. Its not your usual resort like beach vacation at the Westin or Marriot or whatever - where its all pampered. This is more of a do what you want, relax, chill out, type of place. Tyler, the owner, is an awesome, chilled out dude from Hawaii. If you need it, he can get it for you.

Perfect for families, relaxing, enjoy the surf!!!

We stayed 9 days at Casa Aloha. It was an amazing experience. Exactly what we needed. The house is big with plenty of space and has everything we were looking for. It was perfect for the kids and we really felt relaxed all the time with no worries. The beautiful beach, the surf, and what we really enjoyed every second there, the peace of this place. My daughter enjoyed the pool every day after the beach. Tyler, the owner, and his family are very special and friendly people. He knows everybody in the area of Guiones and can help with any needs. Totally recommended and we are going back for sure.

Casa Aloha

Just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Aloha. Great Location. Walk to the beach and some restaurants. Tyler, the owner, was great and helped us with planning excursions and know's everyone in Nosara to help you with anything you need. House has everything you need and more. Beach bikes, surfboards, bodyboards, and beach chairs . Great pool to swim in and cool off. Could not have asked for anything more! HIghly recommended!

I was born and raised in Oahu Hawaii, but I moved to Costa Rica in 1997. from one paradise to another. It was supposed to be just another surf trip, but the amazing waves the incredible beauty of the jungle the stunning sunset, and the warm hospitality of the Ticos stole my heart. I couldn’t resist buying a property and building my house and ending up creating what is now Aloha Surf Nosara Rental, on Calle Los Mangos, just a stone’s throw away from the ocean. I got married to a gorgeous Tica and have three beautiful Keiki (kids). I even started my surf school and was one of the first to organize a surf tournament at Playa Guiones in 2003. I invited my friend Sunny Garcia from Oahu, who was the Triple Crown Champion at the time. Our blend of Hawaiian and Costa Rican cultures, represented by my ‘Ohana (family), makes our guests feel E komo mai (welcome) in our little paradise-like home away from home. Here, you’ll discover the true real meaning and feeling of the authentic Pura Vida vibe and the Aloha spirit!

Because The beautiful ‘Āina (land) where this property is located is surrounded by forest a 4-minute walkway from the beach ideal for surfing and enjoying the tranquility that emanating from the imposing sound of the ocean. The songs of the howler monkeys and the surrounding birds of nature are priceless, especially the Pura Vida vibe of the Tico community. The final thing that made me choose was the property number H2O! “Means water”

It has all u need , for sure!
If you are looking for the jungle /beach the fun activities and also peace and quiet .....This is it!
As Nosara has grown all arounds and has gotten a little crowded , Calle los Mangos is still nice and quiet and tranquil, We have a nice gated property with a lot of space .
Once you come and see our location and landscape you will fall in love with all too
