The hot tub perfect and well maintained, fireplace was awesome. The rooms were clean and there were plenty of extras such as games, air mattress and extra blankets. Location is perfect for skiing, hiking and shopping.

A Perfect Stay in Cottonwood Heights! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this condo for the past two nights, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how immaculately clean and beautifully appointed everything was. The space is not only spacious and comfortable, but also thoughtfully stocked with delightful surprises—snacks and coffee complete with all the fixings, which made us feel instantly welcomed and cared for. Great location!

We absolutely loved the location of this home. Located at the mouth of both ski resort canyons. Walking distance to the shuttle for Brighton/Solitude and a short drive to Snowbird. We also walked to restaurants. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the stocked coffee and sandwich bags, foil, and condiments, syrup, etc. This made shopping for groceries so much easier. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace every night. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect get away location

From the moment of our reservation, the property owner had great communication and clearly communicated check in procedures making our late night arrival a breeze. The property was meticulous and well appointed. We were there almost a week and felt right at home. The home is cozy and well laid out with a beautiful master suite on the top floor. Would definitely stay again.

SLC Family Ski Vacation

We had a fantastic stay! The property was perfect for our family. It was true to its description and very clean! There were several nice touches such as coffee and filters. It is a lovely condo and beds were very comfortable. We definitely want to come back! Communication with the owner was very easy and he was quick to respond! Five star!

Wonderful home in great location

Every thing as advertised and more. Owner and property manager were great, extremely helpful and easy to work with. Showed us some great hikes to take during our stay. Talked to the property manager about improvements they are planning in the next month or so, and hope to go back during the ski season.

Stay here!

This property is fantastic. The location is great for Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude, with the other an easy drive away. The property manager was very responsive to communications with us from the moment we arrived until we left Salt Lake City. Having said that, though, because the property was in perfect condition, we needed very little communication! Thank you for a great place to stay - I look forward to returning when the time comes.

Fantastic stay in Utah ski home!

We had a great time and a fantastic stay at Jim's home in Utah. The house was extremely clean and very well stocked with all the necessities. Stacey was a wonderful host and provided everything we needed during our stay. The house is very large and could accommodate a pretty large group and the location was perfect for skiing. The UTA ski bus stop is just up the road and for those who want to drive, Alta & Snowbird are a few miles up the canyon road. We also went to the Park City/Deer Valley area during our stay, which were only 40 minutes away. We would definitely come back again!

One word sums it up... amazing! The condo was beautiful, roomy and spotless when we arrived.

This was our family’s first visit to Utah to ski. The condo was comfortable and spacious. Every detail was covered upon our arrival. Manager Stacey was incredibly kind and helpful in meeting our needs and providing directions to local stores, restaurants, etc. There is no doubt that we would rent again from them. The Mountain View’s were beautiful as we sat in the outdoor hot tub after a long day of skiing. Top notch all the way! Thank you Stacey for your hospitality!

Exceptional stay!!

We stayed here earlier this year before the recent renovation, and it was great.  Now with all the improvements it is wonderful.  The new window in the living room has a great mountain view.  We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast at the table and looking at the snow covered mountains.  The new stone fireplace, the new flooring, the new furniture and the new wall colors all make this a fantastic home away from home.  We cooked most of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen and enjoyed our short stay.  Beds were very comfortable, and linens of high quality.  Pictures are accurate but don’t do it justice.  Looking forward to coming back.  Five stars all around.  Excellent contact with owner and manager.

Outstanding Property, Owner & Manager!

This is our second year in a row renting this unit. The owner, property manager and the unit each get 5 out of 5 stars. The unit is spacious, clean, and very well appointed. If you like to cook, the unit has the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in my 17 years of renting ski condos. The improvements and upgrades made throughout the unit over the past two years have made what was already a great place to stay into one that is exceptional . Both the owner and property manager have a hands on approach and were extremely helpful in addressing any issues and questions during our stay at the condo. In a nutshell, my friends and I were very satisfied with our stay at this unit and are looking forward to returning for a third stay during next year's ski season.

Outstanding vacation home in a great location!

This home was clean, comfortable, cozy, close to everything, just amazing. Initially there were just 4 of us staying in the condo for a few days then the rest of our group showed up. Nine of us stayed in the condo for the weekend and everyone had plenty of space. We love to cook. The kitchen had every kind of gadget, pots, pans, serving dishes, spices, etc... you could need to create a gourmet meal (or just a home cooked meal for your family). The huge dining table was able to accommodate all of us for family meals. The fireplace in the den provided that little bit of extra warmth, plus made the home even more cozy. We love to play game so the puzzles and games were definitely a hit. The Pictionary battle was one for the record books for sure. Plus being able to relax in the hot tub was an added bonus. The bedrooms were comfortable with extra blankets in every room. Private baths for two of the rooms worked perfect for us. Having access to a washer and dryer was GREAT. We definitely took advantage of the ability to do laundry before heading home. The property manager was amazing. She made sure all of our needs were met and that our stay was comfortable. Thank you so much for the excellent customer focus and service. I would highly recommend this home to anyone vacationing in the Salt Lake area.

Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, exceptionally equipped and stocked.

Jim’s condo is a full four bedroom condo that was perfect for our 4 man ski group. His property manager lives in the complex, so any issues can be easily addressed, though we had none. Everything you need is in this unit and it is all top notch. I have been renting in this area for 7 years now, and this unit is by far the absolute best four bedroom I’ve seen, including some inside Racket Club. If you like to cook during your stay, the kitchen is amazingly well equipped with high end appliances in immaculate shape. Throughout the condo, everything switch is labeled for convenience. All four bedrooms are well decorated, with very comfortable bedding. The new comforters will keep you very cozy. Even the in unit washer and dryer are both large capacity high end machines. The dining room table and the living room easily fit eight. Our large SUV had plenty of room in the two car garage. The four person hot tub and gas grill are right on the deck off the living room. Jim and his manager made the reservation, check in and check out easy and seamless. The manager even dropped in the day after our arrival to make sure everything was in order and answer any questions. Jim even provided a list of the local shops and restaurants, with reviews of those he has patronized. By far, this was the best rental experience we have ever had and we will definely be returning next year.

Wonderful property for the entire family!

This is our second time staying at one of Jim's homes. You are welcomed with a plate full of home baked cookies and a bottle of wine on the kitchen counter. This house was so conveniently located. The ski rental place was walking distance from the front door and they were helpful and quick to get us our gear. There were nice grocery stores and pharmacies right around the corner. A restaurant called the Porcupine grill was, again, walking distance and had really fun/delicious food. There is also a really cool restaurant called La Caille, just around the corner, a bit pricey but great for a final special meal before going back to reality. There were these peacocks running all around the La Caille property! The rooms of the house were large sized. The place was very clean. Everyone in our party had their own room. It was beautifully decorated. As an excellent home chef, the kitchen was very well stocked with gourmet pots and pans, sharp knives etc. I also noticed they had a crockpot and a waffle maker in the cabinets. They had many spices, salt, pepper, oil, pam, sugar etc. which we did not need to purchase. We had 3 delicious meals at the home and wonderful breakfasts every day. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of skiing and I loved the fireplace in the living room. They also had the leather reclining chair from Norway which I wish I had at home. We all fought over who would get to sit in it every night! Best of all, I left my tablet on the master bed and did not realize it until I was at the airport. I called Stacey, the property manager, and she immediately hopped in her car and brought it to me. I never got to see her, in person, to thank her. It was passed to me through a security supervisor but I was so impressed! Talk about being there 100% for your clients. You just don't see that type of service anymore. Thank you Stacey and Jim for making our stay wonderful as always. We will be back again!

We were so impressed with the decor and the layout of this beautiful rental! Having 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 1/2 bedrooms upstairs was perfect for our family. It was super well stocked with seasonings and baking supplies to allow us to prepare meals while we were there. Again, we loved the artwork and found this rental very home-like!!Thank you Mr. Rock!

Great Rental

Perfect location close to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and easy access to interstate to get anywhere in Salt Lake City. Great communication with both owner and property manager. The place seemed very clean. We were in the area to move our son back into the dorms and spend a few days showing his grandmother the beauty of the mountains. It was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we cooked for a few of his dorm friends one night. The hot tub was clean and in good working order for them to enjoy. There was a bedroom with a private bath on the main level for ease of access to our elderly guest. The stairs to get in the condo were easy for her to manage. We arrived late in the evening for check in, but instructions were easy to access the unit and there was coffee in the kitchen for our first morning. The garage and laundry room were great as we used the garage to store items for the dorm until move-in day, and we had bedding to wash for preparation for move-in. Overall, a very comfortable, easy and relaxed stay. Would consider staying here again on our next visit.

I live have of time in Austin Texas and half of the time in Utah. Winter is the best season to enjoy northern Utah, but summer is magical as well. We regularly travel to southern Utah and Arizona to hike in the numerous national parks and love Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. All of it is not that far from the Salt Lake area. Our son lives in the area, and used o be a ski instructor Ala and Snowbird..

The nearby resorts -- Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton --consistently have the best snow conditions in Utah and the West. Our location in Cottonwood Heights is great, with easy access to eight ski resorts while at the same time convenient to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
