Buyer BEWARE - Dated and Overpriced!

Bottom line: dated and overpriced. Upon initial entry, the house appeared clean enough - but don't look too closely. The first thing we noticed were that our socks were covered in black dog hair. The house was listed as "no pets" and I realize that the dog hair may have been from the owner's dog, but they should be taking more care upon their departure to ensure the house wasn't absolutely covered in it. The nose prints and snot on the window of the back door were off-putting as well. This made me question the overall cleanliness of the house. While the appliances were new, every single piece of furniture is a minimum of 30 years old. I realize most second homes have "leftover" dated furniture, but this takes it a step too far - its dated and worn out. Speaking of worn out - the toilet seats are wooden and one of them has splinters... SPLINTERS ON A TOILET SEAT! The master bathroom has mold and mildew in the shower surrounding the shower door and in the sheetrock. I also found black hairs in the tub. The shower head is awful - it creates a weird halo where the water surrounds you, but doesn't actually hit you. This could be fixed with a $20 amazon purchase. It's ridiculous. There are several spare pillows in the master closet, some with yellow stains, some are pretty broken down and none have pillow cases. The tv in the master is not a smart tv - no ability to stream on any platforms. Not sure about the tv in the family room. This owner needs higher standards.

Really good vacation

Great location. Lot's of light in the great room and well stocked. Although, could use a little updating (please a new dishwasher) I would go back again and again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We appreciated having functioning bikes for the three of us adults. Loved the ice/water from the fridge door, plenty of storage containers for leftovers in the kitchen. Great A/C. Appreciated the passes to SHARC. However, the place could really use some refreshing: I was shocked to see so many chipped, unmatched dishes in the kitchen as well as mismatched silverware. I couldn't find a decent chopping knife in the kitchen . The dishwasher left soap scum on all the dishes, even using Cascade detergent. The showers were outdated, as were the two couches. Instead of actually washing a table runner, the housekeeper just flipped it over. There was long black hair in our shower which if you met us you would know, could not possibly have been ours. The front door worked inconsistently and the place could really stand to be repainted, especially around light switches and door handles.

Clean and close to the park/Pickleball courts

We stayed with our kids here and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is stocked well with pans/pots and baking utensils. The house was clean and cozy and we loved sitting outside on the back patio. There are a lot of bike options at this house. We very much enjoyed our time here.

Conifer 6

The house was nice and loved the location but the hot tub jets didn’t work and the service guy came but didn’t do anything. There was a stain in the middle of the living room on the carpet every dish that we pulled out to use we had to wash because it had a slimy film on them . And the upstairs toilet constants ran . But others then those things we had a good stay.

Everything was outstanding. Very nice location, right near bike path. House very spacious, comfortable furniture and very welcoming. We only wished the hot tub was a little hotter for our aching muscles. We will definitely stay at this location again.

Well stocked house in great location

This house really raises the bar in terms of amenities. Kitchen had all the equipment plus pantry staples. Pebble ice machine in the fridge was a fun bonus. It was cold the week we visited so the switch operated gas fireplace was great. Plenty of bikes (in good working order, which is not always the case at rentals). Comfy beds. My only feedback to owners would be to add curtains or switch out the blinds in the upstairs bedrooms for something that blocks a little more light in the summer when the sun starts to rise at 5am. We hope to return.

Great location!

Great location with just a short bike ride to sunriver village. Has many bikes and sleds for recreational needs. Very close to a beautiful park. We enjoy staying here and plan on making it an annual trip. Thank you for the cleanliness and all the amenities making for a great stay!

Don't rent this house.

Great getaway!

We were very comfortable here. Well equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Kids loved the bunkroom and all the toys. Very clean. Quick response from owners! The only bummer was we had planned to use the baby bike trailer, but there was a note on it asking guests not to use it. Not a huge deal, but we wpuld have brought our own from home had we known. But overall, great stay!

Convenient and comfortable

Home was clean and as expected. Bunk room beds are a bit short, but for a family with kids under 5’8” they’d be fine. Kitchen is well stocked and access to the Sunriver amenities is easy. Quite a relaxing location.

Beautiful location and clean home

We loved our stay in Conifer 6. The Sunriver community is such a fun concept! The home was quite clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked for those that like to cook. It had such a variety of kitchen items from large electric griddle, many sizes of pots and pans, coffee maker, glass bakeware, tupperware, crockpot, blender and much more. The only improvement would be sharpened knives. It was easy to cook and prepare meals for a week for my family. Our family members found the beds to be comfortable. The master bedroom is nice size with it's own bathroom. The master is on the main floor. The other two rooms are upstairs with a bathroom to share. We loved being able to use a hot tub as the weather was quite cool and rainy. We brought our own mountain bikes so we did not use the bikes at the home, but there were many bike and variety of sizes. The paths in the community were fun to ride, there are also great mountain biking trails nearby. The home provided SHARC passes which were necessary for playing pickleball, which we enjoyed. The aquatic center was closed during our stay which was disappointing, but we found many other activities to fill our time. The golf course we played was beautiful, the nearby lava attractions were wonderful to visit as well as the several nearby falls. Running the river from Sunriver was not available early June due to weather. Beautiful and peaceful place to visit in early June. We quite enjoyed our stay.
