BALLENAS RELOJ PLAYA - increíble playa privada! Disfrute de la vista panorámica del estrecho de Haro con la isla de Vancouver en la parte posterior del jacuzzi al aire libre o cualquiera de las tres cubiertas expansivas.

Esta es una gran propiedad para ver pasar a las ballenas o para lanzar su propio kayak privado. Esta propiedad es nada menos que perfecta. Con su playa privada, amplio patio con césped y sala multimedia, no se quedará sin actividades aquí. La cocina gourmet está totalmente equipada y se encuentra junto al área de comedor para que sus invitados se puedan unir mientras preparan una deliciosa comida.

El dormitorio principal abarca todo el 3er piso y tiene su propia zona de estar con chimenea eléctrica. El baño principal está abierto a la habitación para que pueda disfrutar de la vista expansiva. Los otros dos dormitorios se encuentran en el piso principal a ambos lados del pasillo de entrada y comparten un baño también ubicado en ese pasillo. Una de las habitaciones también tiene un sofá cama acogedor.

Hacia el lado del agua de la casa hay otra zona de descanso con asientos muy cómodos e impresionantes vistas del estrecho de Haro y la isla de Vancouver. En la planta baja cuenta con una bodega de cedro (Bring Your Own Wine) con una mesa de degustación de cadera con capacidad para dos.

La sala de medios tiene un gran televisor de pantalla plana para TV satelital o para ver uno de los muchos DVD de Blueray que se proporcionan. Esta sala multimedia también tiene un sofá cama, cocina y baño privado con ducha a ras de suelo. Internet inalámbrico está disponible en toda la casa y todos los niveles tienen asientos al aire libre en la terraza para disfrutar de la hermosa puesta de sol aquí en el lado oeste de la isla de San Juan. We were able to make fantastic feasts, enjoy the scenery with a patio on every level of the house, and have nice soaks in the hot tub. The property management was responsive and extremely helpful. Can't recommend it enough.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good:The location was great, clean, directions inside were clear,pictures were accurate.The bad: no body soap in any bathrooms. Not enough towels for our party, which means we had to do multiple loads of laundry on vacation to maintain clean towels. No one wants to do laundry on vacation. Due to multiple loads for our party of 6, there was not sufficient dryer sheets. The stairs down to the beach were overgrown with thorns. 2 of our party had their shirts caught and damaged. Nothing major but items that are generally expected in rentals with regards to amenities and safe access. The view outweighed any shortcomings and would just know to bring more household items for our next visit.

Stunning Haro Strait vacation home

It easily accommodated our group of 8 ranging from 3 years old to grandparents. By far the best feature of this home is its location on Haro Strait. The views are incredible. Everyone loved exploring the rocky beach front. We enjoyed watching river otters, seals, sea lions, harlequin ducks, and various other birds. The highlight was getting to watch J and K pods of southern resident orcas travel by for over an hour and a half. We have been fortunate to see orcas directly from the house both times we’ve stayed!!! Highly recommend this vacation rental!

Gorgeous views!

We had a lovely stay. The home was so comfortable, and a perfect layout for our family - we have two kids in the downstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bedroom was a fantastic retreat for us! The bed up there was so comfortable, I usually don't notice that one way or another, but it really stood out. The hot tub had an amazing view and was easy to use and access right from the main level. The private beach was a treat, the kids loved throwing rocks in the water and exploring. Great yard too, lots of room to play both inside and outside. Top notch place!

Fantastic house in ideal location

House is perfectly situated on a quiet, beautiful road overlooking the water! House is clean, spacious, bright, and was perfect for our trip! Convenient, central location on the island makes everything a short and easy drive! Booking, check-in, and check-out were all simple, with quick and clear communication start to finish. The whole experience was even better than expected!

From the moment you hit the harbor and drive the winding roads to the home, it is like stepping into paradise. When you pull into the property, the view is stunning. The house is clean and very comfortable. We had one rainy and cold day and were so content to stay at the house and have a cozy day inside. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The hot tub was super clean and just the right temp. If we ever have the chance to return to San Juan, we would have to stay here or it just wouldn't compare. Do yourself a favor and book this house!!! As a side note, the property management team was spectacular. So friendly and easy to work with. They even helped us with restaurants and suggestions of things to do on the island. Seriously, it was the perfect vacation!

Whale Watch Beach for Memorial Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house along with a 3 other couples for Memorial Day. We booked it for the view, the hot tub, and space to play outdoors and it did not disappoint. The sleeping arrangements were plenty suitable for a group of our size and there were ample spots for afternoon naps. The property was in good condition and quite clean when we arrived. There were plenty of options for running laundry and well-stocked cleaning supplies. We would highly recommend this property and management company. This property is really close to Roche Harbor and the drive between is littered with farm stands, bucolic pastures, and an alpaca farm! We ate lunch at Lime Kiln Cafe and highly recommend the donuts. We are already dreaming about our return!

Too bad about the blinds

When you pay a lot of money every night for a vacation rental, you expect there to be decent light blocking in the bedrooms. Otherwise, as soon as the sun rises you're waking up probably earlier than you want to be. Unfortunately this place, the master bedroom had windows without coverings. And even the windows that did have coverings, the coverings were extremely translucent and ineffective at what you expect them to do, block light from coming in. The other bedroom suffered from the same problem, the blinds are useless when they are letting light in. I notify the property but they pretty much just ignored me. Also, whatever remodel happened to this place was a complete train wreck! You can't even sit down on the toilet in the master bathroom without banging your head on the cupboard behind you
