Cabaña aislada en 200 acres con su propio lago privado. Relájese en la gran terraza con una vista espectacular del lago y el bosque a cualquier hora del día o de la noche. Disfrute de la pesca en el lago, de las muchas millas de senderos, nadando o simplemente relajándose en la playa. El lago está equipado con bote de remos y canoa. Por la noche, disfrutar de una fogata en la fogata. Perfecto para unas vacaciones en familia o una escapada romántica. Duerme seis con cama queen murphy en el dormitorio principal: dos literas; y reina sofá cama en salón. Cocina totalmente equipada con área de comedor, 1 1/2 baños, lavadora / secadora, aire acondicionado, wifi, TV / VCR, terraza y patio. Sólo 11 millas de galena con tiendas, restaurantes y muchas atracciones. Ocupación máxima 6. Lo siento, pero no mascotas o fumar. Los alquileres están disponibles de abril a noviembre.

Lovely secluded cabin with amazing sunrises on the lake. Owner is quick to respond to questions. Cozy and welcoming. Close to Galena but you feel like you are very secluded. Hope to stay again when we are in the area.

Amazing stress free retreat. Cabin was wonderful and completely furnished with everything we needed. Loved boating on the beautiful lake and floating through the lily pads. Will definitely come back.

Amazing!! Peaceful and beautiful!

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here, first with my family. Absolutely love it there! The private lake is amazing and the cabin is just the right size. We all enjoyed the lake and lots of outside activities. Highly recommend for a family or friends getaway!

Five years in a row now, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Such a relaxing and tranquil place. My grandson didn’t want to leave, enjoying swimming, fishing, hiking, campfire with s’mores every night. So many stars at night, spotted the ISS, and a few shooting stars.

Great Time

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Everyone enjoyed the lake, whether swimming, fishing, boating or just watching the fish jump. It was nice to unplug and unwind for a few days

Steep private road to beautiful lake view and cabin. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Peaceful and serene. Fish were biting and the paddle boat was fun. It was hot during our stay and A/C only on top floor but the scenery is worth it and the shower is not made for fluffy people.

One of our favorite places!

This is our favorite place for our annual friends get together. We always have a great time enjoying hiking amd swimming on the property. Excellent communication with the owner.

Beautiful weather! As usual we had a marvelous stay! We always enjoy our stay here, this place is so close to our hearts! My husband thinks a few grass carp would be good for the lake.

Another great stay

We can’t get enough of this place. It’s close enough to town for a trip for pizza and a visit to the old fashioned ice cream parlor and candy store, yet secluded from the rest of the world to enjoy peace and quiet. We love the fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, exploring, campfires and the family bonding time this wonderful place affords us.

Another great stay

I think this is our fourth year in a row and we are planning on making it five. Word to the wise though, don’t leave your fresh farm stand corn on the picnic table overnight unless you want to make the raccoons happy.

Our family went on houseboat vacations cruising the Mississippi river and skiing at Chestnut Mountain Resort when we were growing up. We loved the area so much my parents looked at property to buy in the Galena area. The first piece of property they purchased was in 1966. The cabin was eventually built in 1983.

Our parents built a cabin for guests and family to stay in when they visited. After they passed away, we decided to rent the cabin out 5 months out of the year. We haven enjoyed vacationing there for many years and would like to share it with others.
