Este nuevo condominio totalmente climatizado, es perfecto para una escapada ideal de playa con amigos o familiares, la unidad que dispone de interiores luminosos con una decoración neutra y suelos de mármol, por lo que es un lugar encantador, fresco para disfrutar de tiempo de calidad entre ir a la playa, bares o lugares de interés cultural de Zihuatanejo.

El interior de los apartamentos ofrece un montón de espacio de vida. Uno entra a la zona de vida que le impresiona inmediatamente con su sorprendente gran ventana arqueada. El panorama y la luz simplemente inundaciones en. Demasiada luz del sol? persianas y cortinas dormitorios se proporcionan para que usted pueda decidir la cantidad de luz solar que desea.

Este gran condominio soleado es uno de los cinco apartamentos en un condominio cerrado seguro que tiene una gran vista de la bahía y sus playas de una zona privilegiada situada al otro lado de la ciudad de Zihuatanejo.

La unidad tendrá una fuente de arranque de jabón, productos de papel y un suministro inicial de agua potable embotellada. Sugerimos que beber agua embotellada y cepilla los dientes con él también. Se proporcionan cuarto de baño y toallas de playa y ropa de cama fresca conjuntos.

Great view and location

The condo was wonderful. Loved the proximity to beach and easy to get to town. Great breezes, didn't use air conditioning only ceiling fans. Great pool with a view of the beach and zihu as well.

A View of Paradise!!

This property is everything we expected and more. We arrived to find it was exactly as depicted in the pictures posted and had everything we needed for a month in paradise. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking up fresh fish and shrimp from the Mercado and the rest of the condo was very spacious and well laid out. The large windows that open at the front of the condo allow for a completely unobstructed view of Playa La Ropa and Zihuatanejo. You never tire of the view... day or night. The location is perfect... a short walk to both Playa La Ropa and Playa Las Gatas. Also close enough to walk to town, but you can get a taxi or bus very easily. Condo has 24/7 security and we always felt very safe with Guerro and Jose looking after our every need. Thanks to Ed for a wonderful vacation!!

Greatest view in my opinion

There are many wonderful things to do and see in the Ixtapa / Zihua area, but for my wife and I, simply spending time every day from the comfort of Ed's condo (and pool) - soaking up the view of Zihua bay was one of the most outstanding and magical for us personally. And of course it's well appointed, cleaned, and maintained. If you think it looks "too far" away on the map, it isn't. Simply step out the front gate and you likely will have a taxi going down the hill within 2 or 3 minutes, empty and ready to serve you, as they just dropped off someone who needed a ride higher up the hillside. That means no call to taxi company even necessary. And if you're in the slightest of decent condition, you can stroll downhill for 5 minutes and you're at the southern end of Playa la Ropa. From there you can initiate your stroll up the best beach on the bay, or clamber the trail over the rocks to Playa las Gatas (better footwear and physical condition needed). Also there's no loud music, disco, or bar sounds at all around - only the birds, insects, and the powerful, mesmerizing sound of the waves crashing below. My only hesitation in giving such a great review is that it might not be available the next time we want to stay there! Cheers.

When you arrived and we met at the condo the first time it was for me a pleasure to watch both of you looking at the Zihuatanejo Bay. It was pure happiness. You both were in paradise and will never forget it. It was the same magic we felt when my wife and I saw the bay from the condo the first time and next day we bought the condo. outstanding view

beautiful condo, great for family with older children. The owner (Ed) easily contacted if needed and speaks English. The hill or stairs down to the playa can be a bit of a challenge if walking is not your favorite thing to do. Taxis are plentiful, at a very reasonable price. Condo has everything you need and after a day at the beach, have a cool, refreshing dip in the private pool. We did have a problem with ants but rectified by Guerro and Jose (security) located right outside our door. Several restuarants within walking distance and the town of Zihau a short distance by bus. Beautiful view of downtown Zihau as the pics reflect. Definitely would go back.

LOVE THIS PLACE!

In February my boyfriend, myself and some friends stayed at this condo. We had an amazing time. I meant to write a review right away but I kept forgetting. Guero and Jose were awesome. So friendly and welcoming, they helped us with anything we needed and were good getting us with directions and taxi to Zihuatanejo. The condo was great! Perfect for our group. I will definitely go back and definitely stay here again. Miss already the condo, and miss Zihuatanejo! Again sorry it took so long to write this.

Wonderful place to stay.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Ed's unit at Vista Bay. The views from the living room and balconies off of the master and second bedroom of La Ropa beach and the bay are beautiful. The lights of the northern hill of Zihua at night are also great. The unit is as pictured in the photos. The infinity pool is nice as well. We rented a car and enjoyed driving in the City and places north. Getting to the unit from the airport is a bit tricky. Coming into Zihua turn left at the first light past the Sam's club on the main highway. Follow that road about a mile or so and you will see a left turn lane with a "La Ropa" sign. Follow that road all the way up to the Vista Bay Condominiums. Vista Bay is built into the side of the hill above the south end of La Ropa beach. A large grocery/general merchandise store is pretty close. To get there take the road back down from the condo until you reach the roundabout and then turn right. It is about 10 blocks from there. We checked out downtown Zihua just a bit and were non-plussed by the shopping for the most part. There is an outdoor market with the usual stuff if you like that kind of thing. Ixtapa is very touristy. Playa Las Gratas is worth a day. We enjoyed a lounger and lunch and drinks at Ottilia which is near the end of the restaurants. If you have a car, we recommend at least one day trip to Playa Troncones which is about 25 miles north. Exit the freeway to Ixtapa to the right just before you enter Ixtapa. Playa Troncones is serene with a beautiful beach, few people and big waves. We drove there twice and used the Present Moment Spa Resort as our home base. Yoga and other health classes. Kind of hippi-esque but we really liked the vibe, the staff and the owner Tom Morisette and his son Taylor who manage the place. To reach Present Moment turn right when the road to Playa Troncones ends at the beach. It is about a half mile north from there. A dinner at La Casa Que Canto is very nice and romantic. La Escalleros which is near the condo has beautiful views of La Ropa and the bay. Paty's is a good place to lounge on La Ropa. We found the guide book in the condo to be very helpful. The internet works reasonably well particularly if you are sitting in the TV area near the modem. You can watch Netflix but the trick to use the Sling TV unit. The two guys who watch the place are very pleasant but as noted by others they do not speak a word of English. A smile is universal.

Beautiful view!

We just returned from staying a month at Vista Bay Condo. The view of La Ropa beach is like a postcard! The Condo is equipped with top quality cookware & flatware. Anything you could possibly need. Mr. Guero & Mr. Jose maintain the property immaculately & took great care of us. Also taxi - Andres was very helpful & often translated for us. Vista Bay is within walking distance of Las Gatas, La Ropa, & La Madera beaches as well as several restaurants. We did not use the air conditioning very often, as we enjoyed the warm Mexican air. Great location & would recommend for quiet, peaceful vacation.

Bright, comfortable apartment in perfect location

This apartment is exactly like the pictures. It is spotless and very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay; Mr. Guero was charming, and very welcoming. We took a taxi to the Zijuatanejo market which was is close, where we enjoyed shopping at the many excellent food stalls. You can explore all of Zuhuatanejo on foot and there are many local restaurants nearby Paseo del Pescador. We found the town charming with its beautifully handcrafts and friendly people. It is a friendly place and clean. We do not recommend renting a car because the insurance is expensive and why rent a car if taxis are all over Zihuatanejo. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

A Sky Box above La Ropa and Zihua Bay

If Zihuatanejo was an NFL venue, this would be the seat that the franchise owner watches from. We stayed January 13 - February 3, 2016. Ed furnished prompt and informative details before we booked and answered every question that came up before we left on our vacation. The condo is spacious, gracious and refined - nicer even than the pictures. The Vista Bay property is well maintained and the two gentlemen, Guero and Jose, who take care of the place are a couple of the most accommodating fellows you will ever meet. The internet connection was the best that I personally have experienced on vacation in Mexico. We never needed to use the air conditioning as the ceiling fans provided ample ventilation/cooling. A couple of nights we did turn on the A/C fan unit (fan only) in the master bedroom & closed the sliding doors to drown out some festive music from across the bay that went on late into the night. There is plenty of hot water, though the shower heads could use an upgrade (that's about the only recommended upgrade that I can think of). My wife and I like to walk and even though the condo is perched 278 ft. above sea level (i.e., the beach), we walked down and back every day. If you take the short cut through Punta Marina, turn left on the little gravel road and walk down the steps near the Casa Don Francisco you wind up at Playa La Ropa (0.35 mi.) It's about 10 min. walk going down, a little slower coming back up. The infinity pool at Vista Bay is a refreshing finale. You can also walk to Playa Las Gatas (about 25 min.) by turning left at La Ropa beach, following a narrow road which becomes a path along the rocky shore line that can be negotiated in sandals, though many people will prefer more supportive footwear. Both Playas La Ropa and Las Gatas are strewn with picturesque beach restaurant/cantinas where you can spend the day swimming and lounge in the sun or shade (your preference). The water was about 80°F and very easy to swim in. To get into town (the centro), take the little van/bus called a kombi (15 pesos for two). Even though we like to walk, we preferred to take a taxi home from town after dark since the roads are not that well lit, and the sidewalks are spotty in places along the road up to Vista Bay (take a flashlight). The cost of a taxi from town to your door after dark will cost you anywhere from 45 to 80 pesos. If you want to pay 45 you have to do a little talking, but that's what makes Mexico enjoyable.

Excellent condo near the beach.

The apartment has a gorgeous view. Everything is exactly like the posted picture even the sunset was amazing. Where the condo is located is just beautiful. In the mornings you can hear wild birds, and we even saw a Tucan. Security is great and for grocery shopping, you just drive 10 minutes. Also, it is 10 mins away just to the beach, which is one of the best area plus not too crowded. Mr Guero and Mr Jose were very helpful attending us and helping with direction to the town and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it and will certainly go back!

Fabulous experience

I’m writing this review while still in Zihua knowing that I probably won’t once home. We are here for 3 weeks with family and friends coming to share some time with us. This is a fabulous condo, perched on the hill overlooking the beach called Playa La Ropa. The constant rhythm of the waves breaking on the beach rises up to fill it with the sound of the heartbeat of the sea. It is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach and a 15 minute climb back. Thankfully the cool pool awaits your efforts. The condo is furnished and equipped like none other that we have ever rented. It is adorned with quality furnishing and tasteful art. The kitchen has everything required for whatever level of cooking you wish to do, even a pressure cooker that I found last night. Tonight I’m serving pulled pork with mole sauce and spicy beans and rice. Tomorrow will be grilled fresh fish from the bay. There are day and night staff available to help with anything required. Helpful hint: There is a product called “microdyn” or “bacdyn” available at the Commercial. You add 8 drops per liter of water used to wash fruits and vegetables, adds greatly to your comfort zone when shopping the local market

Great place to visit, great place to stay!

Spent 14 days at the condo over the holidays. Perfect weather, and Zihuatanejo is a lovely place to visit. The condo was clean and well-maintained. Lovely, charming condo, just like a large house. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying a ocean view. Location of Condo was perfect: easy walk to la Ropa Beach, but not on a busy street. The pool was perfect for cooling off and lazing with a book. The property manager and the concierge service were perfect. To top it off, the area saw its share of regular guests: gorgeous song birds, iguanas and our own regularly visiting Gallinetas. You wake to the gentle sound of waves and the birds singing. Highly recommend this rental condo. We hope to return.
