El Lorelei - Distrito histórico - Recientemente renovado

Bienvenido a Lorelei, una encantadora casa victoriana de 6 dormitorios, 6 y 1/2 baños ubicada en el distrito histórico de Cape May. A solo tres cuadras de las hermosas playas y a solo 1 cuadra y media del centro de la ciudad (donde hay muchos restaurantes, tiendas y teatros), te ENCANTARÁ la ubicación.
Hemos sido recientemente renovados con nuevos pisos de madera y pisos de baldosas en la planta baja, nuevos pisos de baldosas en cada baño, pisos de madera originales restaurados en la sala de estar. Y comedor,
Alfombras nuevas en 2018 en las habitaciones del tercer piso y en los pasillos y escaleras de arriba. Baños recién pintados.
Nueva estufa y horno en 2018.
Todo el exterior de la casa ha sido repintado en 2018 en “colores de sirena”. Hermoso jardín, patio, cercas y espectacular porche envolvente, ¡El punto de vista perfecto para observar a la gente y para el desfile de Navidad!
2019, gabinete adicional instalado en la cocina con todas las nuevas encimeras de cuarzo. Armarios pintados con tiza actualizados y nuevo protector contra salpicaduras de azulejos de vidrio. (nueva foto de cocina aún no está disponible)
La cocina tiene una tostadora tradicional, un horno tostador, una cafetera tradicional, un sistema de cápsulas de café Keurig, una licuadora, un procesador de alimentos, una batidora manual, una olla eléctrica y una olla instantánea nueva para 2019. ¡Prepara una tormenta!

Todas las habitaciones con su propio televisor de pantalla plana y nuestro estudio tienen una pantalla plana de 50 pulgadas y reproductor de DVD BLU-ray más una colección de DVD para su uso.
Nuestra sala de estar también tiene una pantalla plana.
Casa cuenta con aire acondicionado y calefacción y cuenta con Wi-Fi en todo. Hay un porche envolvente completo para disfrutar de las vistas. Hay un patio privado cercado en Paver para hacer barbacoas y asientos para comer al aire libre. Lavadora / secadora en las instalaciones junto con todas las comodidades modernas. Cada habitacion tiene su propio baño.. (La mayoría en suite,) Un montón de estacionamiento fuera de la calle hacen de esta una gran estancia. Un Beach Box está disponible para todos nuestros huéspedes en la playa. No es necesario llevar sus sillas de un lado a otro, etc. ¡Mantenga todo asegurado en la playa! Wonderful house, perfect location!

The house is just as described (charming, very clean, plenty of space for a large group) and in a perfect location to everything one needs in Cape May (center of town, Congress Hall, the beach). Lori, the host, is very kind and was extremely responsive to all our questions and requests. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend to others!

Lovely Holiday weekend

Charming home in the heart of Cape May

A group of 10 of us stayed for the week, and found the house to have plenty of space to convene and spread out as we liked. Check in was easy, just parked and got the code. Linens were waiting for us on the porch when we got there (rented separately). We went out to eat or got takeout most of the nights, but all the appliances were in good working order, and we were able to cook a couple of the nights without issue. Beach box was super helpful and made the walk to and from the beach very easy. Would recommend for anyone with a larger vacation group!

Great location & communication

Beautiful home in a great location! 3 blocks to the beach and less than 2 blocks to main part of town. Fantastic porch for relaxing, reading, or watching the people passing by. Plenty of rooms and space to spread out for our group of 11. Great communication before and during our stay with Lori, and very responsive to needs. Thank you!

Family Trip to celebrate a 60th birthday

Wonderful Victorian located in the heart of everything. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beach and activities. The house was clean and the perfect size for our party of 11. Kitchen is fully stocked! Lori is great to deal with communication was easy and quick. We will be back!

Family Beach week

The house was perfect for our requirements: staying with my husband and me were our 3 adult children, their spouses and children. We fit 13 people comfortably and each had his/her own space for sleeping. The wrap around porch was great for sitting, reading and people watching and the patio was a nice gathering place after the beach etc. Cape May is a lovely town with beautiful beaches and a plethora of shops. The host was very quick and gracious and responsive to all questions.

Beautiful Home! Great Location!

We spent the weekend of Oct. 12-14 at Lorelei and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. There were 12 women and we spread out in the ample bedrooms and enjoyed the large dining table for our gatherings which included a private chef cooking for us! The home has ample parking (we parked five cars) but never had to move them as it is in walking distance of everything - shopping, beach, dining, liquor stores, etc. The host was truly accommodating to all of our needs from the moment we booked until we arrived. A great place to stay!

Fabulous amenities!

The house is great - and all the little extras were very much appreciated - like 6 beach tags, the beach box, tissues (other rentals don't seem to think of this), excellent AC (it was a VERY hot week), a well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful wrap around porch. The very thoughtful welcome basket was a great added touch. Lori is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. Planning to come back next year - and hopefully many years after!

Thanksgiving in Cape May with Family

From beginning to end, the owner, Lori was amazing. She responded immediately to all of our questions and requests. We cooked most meals at the house as we were a large group. The kitchen offered all appliances, plates, pots, etc needed for our group. The home was a short walk to the Washington Mall, Harriet Tubman Museum and beach. A few minutes ride to the lighthouse and other attractions. Accommodated our family of various ages. Would definitely return again. Thank you Lori for being a great host.

Great family vacation at The Lovely Lorelei, Cape May, NJ

Beautiful Victorian styled house, at great location. House exterior is colorful and ornate, matching the charm of surrounding town. On front porch every evening. Walking distance to beach, the mall, mini-golf, various shops, grocery store, restaurants and ice-cream. We only used vehicles twice; First for trip to Cape May Zoo and to Sunset Beach one evening. Lori (owner) is down-to earth, quick to respond, honest and all-around a pleasure to interact with. Beach box to store some chairs/ umbrellas. I believe each bedroom had its own bath, which was nice. Each bedroom had its own mini split (AC), which all us guys appreciated (extra blankets in closets for the ladies). Off-street parking for 4-5 cars. 15 in our group; 9 adults and 6 children. We moved some knick-knacks up to higher shelves, as we had lots of curious little hands. Highly recommended!

Girl Cousins Weekend!

Without a doubt, my best experience with VRBO yet! Lori, our host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It truly enhanced our Cape May experience. So close to the Cape May shopping area and a nice walk to the beach. This was perfect for the 13 of us. Smaller groups could go their own way and meet back at the house for group conversation, games, happy hour and laughter! We all had not been together in so long. The house, the location, the attention from Lori, and of course reconnecting with cousins, all served to rejuvenate the soul! Thank you Lori, for helping to make it special!

Senior Fun!

I'm talking seniors as in age. Five couples came together in Cape May and ended up staying at the John F. Craig house. We reserved the Lovely Lorelei however the roof was being repaired and the road in front was being resurfaced by the city, so the owner offered another property closer to the beach and shopping! Thank you Lori!! We had the best time! We loved the remodeled kitchen, having a bedroom on the first floor, hanging out on the front porch and the overall history of the house. All-in-all, we loved getting together and spending our time in this beautiful Victorian home! Suggestion for readers...be sure to check availability with Lori before reserving on Vrbo! I missed that detail.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful week in Cape May. The house is perfect. One of the best features is that every room has it's own bathroom. This made it a perfect fit for our family with married children and one grandchild. There is also a main floor bedroom that was perfect for our elderly parent. The owner is very easy to talk to and wanted to make sure that our visit was good. She wanted to know if we needed anything and made sure we had her contact information and handy mans information too. The house is 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the area with shops. Very easy walk. It is a great location. It is on a busy corner but with the huge porch and the fence we felt our little ones were safe! Parking is ample. I happen to have used linenladies.com for my linens before and used them again and was happy with them too. All in all it was a great experience renting this house and hope to do it again.

Awesome Location, Beautiful Victorian home!

This is our second time renting this Beautiful Pink Victorian Home. We were at max capacity for this house with 17 people ranging from 3 years old to 72. Three floors with rooms that are as unique as Cape May. Wrap around porch which works well any time of the day. Great place to hang out and people watch. The location is extremely convenient, a block from the shopping, couple from the beach and a couple from all the restaurants. Lori the owner was exceptional at preparing everything for our arrival. We stayed in touch after the first trip last year and we were fortunate to have been able to rent it again this year. Our kids have grown attached to Cape May and that property in particular calling it the PINK HOUSE. Each was quick to claim their room on arrival. Lori is constantly working on improving the property with some kitchen upgrades and an outdoor shower this year. The side yard was great for a bbq lunch. We highly recommend this property for its great upkeep, location and owner. Next time we decide to go to Cape May we won't have to exhaust ourselves searching for that perfect house.

We are originally from NYC but now reside in Northern New Jersey so we can be close to our two favorite places...CAPE MAY AND NYC!
