Maravilloso loft situado en Piazza del Gesù, dentro del Palazzo Altieri, uno de los edificios más bonitos de la nobleza romana. El gran edificio está protegido por el Ministerio de Cultura Italiano, y en su interior alberga numerosas obras de arte del Renascimiento Italiano. El apartamento está en el tercer piso por ascensor, y goza de la fantástica vista de los techos de Roma y la cúpula del Panteón. El apartamento está dispuesto en dos niveles: en el primero hay un gran salón con sofá cama matrimonial y un comedor diario, una cocina completamente restaurada, un vestidor y un baño con ducha. En el segundo nivel se encuentra una zona con un dormitorio matrimonial y otra zona con dormitorio con un sofá cama de una plaza. Decorado con estilo clásico, completan este elegantísimo loft las siguientes comodidades: conexión wifi, aire acondicionado, alfombrado de calidad, altos techos en madera y pisos en parquet.

El apartamento tenía una ubicación inmejorable, estaba limpio y muy bien acondicionado, el que tenga el jabón para lavaplatos y lavadora es fantástico, y tenía además aceite, sal, y azúcar, sólo echamos de menos para la primera mañana unas cápsulas para la nespresso. Por lo demás impecable todo.

This is a nice unit in a great location. As many others have indicated in the center of everything, walking distance to you many of the things that you will want to see in Rome. There are a couple things you should be aware of that did not detract from my stay in the unit (4 people total). As stated in the ad it is in an old and fascinating Palazzo, however that means some walking and stairs to get to the unit even if you use the elevator, so be aware of that. Second, this unit is essentially a very large room with a two "bedroom" loft built into it. The loft has stairs to get to the beds, and the stairs creak quite a bit. There are no doors between the bedrooms but because of the layout they still afford plenty of privacy. The bathroom is "downstairs" from the main sleeping areas. If you are a light sleeper people going up and down the stairs might keep you awake. There is also a sofa bed downstairs right in front of the bathroom, so if you sleep in that bed traffic to the bathroom could be bothersome. This is the bed I slept in, which was very comfortable for a fold-out couch. The upstairs double bed is also very comfortable, I didn't try out the single.Also be aware this owner charges a separate cleaning fee that is not charged by VRBO.As mentioned, I stayed here with three other people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The dining area is small but adequate and the kitchen was great. check in was very easy and convenient, as was departure.

The location of the apartment is stellar and it is very clean. The beds are a little firm for my liking, the stars are a bit steep and getting the apartment to cool down with the aged AC units was difficult. Overall decent stay.

As a group of three this was a good fit. The host who checked us in was great and provided useful information. The location just can't be beat for getting to all the sites in the heart of Rome. We found it useful to wear ear plugs at night to cancel our the street sounds including the sirens from the nearby police station.

We stayed for 5 nights. Family with all adults. Pros: (1) Place is very nice, clean, safe, quiet, and big. Lots of amenities in kitchen. You can see lake from the window. It's in a very beautiful neighborhood. (2) Walking distance to rail station(2 minutes). (3) 10 minutes drive to Interlaken city center. Cons: (1). Only 1 set of towels( 4 towels for 5 nights). Should be two sets minimum. (2). There is a restrictions about amount of hot water you can use. We were very careful about using hot water, and still 4th person has to take cold shower. (3). we have no control to manage the temperature of the room. Temperature in rooms were comfortable to stay but not enough to sleep properly. Rooms were too warm and humid to sleep properly. Other: Within first 5 minutes, my wife, 120 lb, set on a swing and it got broke. A bolt attaching swing to a ceiling came off. My wife's head got hit on a wall as swing fell. She is still hurting on that spot on head.(after about 13-14 days.) We will get x-ray done to find out soon. I would rent again if room temperatures, towels, and hot water situations are addressed.

It’s a great location for a few days but I wouldn’t want to stay for longer than three. The good: - the location is great in a historic palace located within walking distance or a quick taxi ride to all major attractions. - the management company was very responsive and arraigned a transfer to the airportThe not as good--the air conditioning wasn’t very cold and the beds aren’t very comfortable. -the pricing model was confusing-final payment could not be completed without using an app outside of VRBO-the cleaning fee and taxes had to be paid in cash.

Highly recommend this unit. It is in a fantastic location in a great complex. You truly get a sense of Italian living. It accommodated the 5 of us(3 teenagers) with no problem. The communication with Daniele was excellent. Always quick to answer our texts. Even went above and beyond helping solve a minor issue we encountered.

Tolle Unterkunft und sehr nette Agentur

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Stadt, ist super sauber und toll ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter der Agentur sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten selten eine so nette Begrüßung und Einführung. Der einzige Makel ist die Klimaanlage. Die war kaputt. Die Agentur hat sich toll gekümmert und es gab ein Ersatzgerät und Reparatur. Da es schon einige Rezensionen zur kaputten Klimaanalge gab, sollte der Eigentümer sie endlich mal ersetzen. Das Loft ist direkt unter dem Dach und ohne Klimaanlage ist das nicht erträglich.

Italy Vacation

Rome was our first stop on this amazing trip and the Altieri Loft Pantheon property met all of our needs. The loft was roomy and centrally located where we were walking distance to the main site seeing locations e.g. Vatican, Pantheon, etc... Valerio was very helpful during the check-in process and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you for everything!

This location is close to everything. You can easily walk to all the sites. Because you are so central, it's also really noisy. Lots of sirens! You will have some stairs before you can access the elevator and steep stairs in the unit. I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly or anyone with toddlers. The bathroom smell is real, as indicated in other reviews. It doesn't go away, so best to keep the door closed or be prepared. The beds were comfy and it was clean! From the entrance of the building you weave your way past interesting corners of the attic before reaching the suite. All is clean and normal once you're inside. Nice to have the windows open but it's loud outside. You will definitely need the AC here on hot days.

Wonderful stay!

Communication and check-in with Fabio was quick and easy. There was a booklet on basic information about the apartment as well as nearby amenities. The apartment was clean, cosy and very comfortable for a family of 5. The loft was a cute and functional touch, but the stairs are quite steep. The kitchen was stocked with basic condiments as well as coffee and sugar (we only made coffee and used the microwave and oven for heating up leftovers, we did not cook). It was beautiful weather in April so we did not use the heater or aircon. There was clothes detergent provided and the washing machine worked well. A good size clothes rack was available.Being on the top floor close to a busy road, you could hear sirens and noises at night, but the windows help to keep some of it out. The apartment is on the top floor and the view of the rooftops and street below gave a nice Italian vibe. There is an elevator available if you don't wish to climb the three floors to the apartment, but there are still a few steps which cannot be avoided. The building itself is old and rustic with a historic Roman style. The location is excellent - walking distance to most attractions, even the Vatican City. Just on the next block, there is a small supermarket and a bakery that opens at 6am (except Sundays) serving coffee and freshly baked croissants and pastries if you need them that early, which we did. Overall, a wonderful stay which I would definitely recommend!
