Amazing location!

The perfect place for myself and 2 daughters to spend our first Malibu weekend exploring. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Apartment was adorable, older, but everything worked perfectly! And that patio!!! Will never forget it!

Heaven in Malibu

What an idyllic weekend in Malibu! We were in town for a friend’s wedding and are so grateful we found this beautiful bungalow to call home for two nights! The location and setting can’t be beat, the property was clean and well-appointed, great communication from the host - a top notch experience all around! We can’t wait to visit again!

A great location with plenty of waves

We enjoyed our stay in Bungalow 8, especially sitting on the porch in the evening watching the waves. We walked to Malibu Surf Shack to rent a surf board, walked to Malibu Pier, and enjoyed dinner at the Malibu Farm restaurant, also a close walk. Shopping and Pepperdine University were close. I made some meals in the kitchen, which was outfitted adequately. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was lovely since the evenings were quite chilly.

Wonderful Rental on the beach!!

We enjoyed our week in Malibu at this rental. The property contact person was great. Answered our questions during the booking process and answered very quickly. When we had any requests they were great to work with. I highly recommend this property and we will plan to return the next time we travel to Malibu. we loved sitting on the porch, watching and listening to the ocean waves. We even saw a dolphin.

Perfect cottage on the water

This property was perfect for a getaway for me and my husband. The property was clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony over the water with our coffee in the morning, and it was amazing listening to the waves at night. The location was perfect for getting around Malibu for a wedding weekend. Beautiful, relaxing place!

Excellent rental

The location is fantastic, most anything is walking distance. The water is right below you and you have easy access to the beach. Manager is really nice, quick to respond and really generous in helping you out with questions or concerns. Highly recommend for a get away with a comfortable, homey feel.

More like a cruise ship ocean view...not beach front

I rented this property believing I would be just steps from the sand with access to a private beach (Carbon Beach) with my family. The tide was super high and it felt more like a balcony view of the ocean on a cruise ship with no direct access to the beach. Also the ocean crashed directly under the bungalow. The property is on stilts. It made it very hard to sleep. The bungalow was getting pounded by the waves all night! In the bedroom you could also hear the cars racing down PCH 1. I've never come back home so tired from a vacation in my life! On the positive side, the bungalow was very clean and check in/out was seamless..I just think that in the property description it should be noted that the private beach access is ONLY accessible depending on the tide....which no one has control over. I wouldn't have spent that kind of money per night if I had known that I would still have to walk or drive to a different beach each day with my family. I think it's only fair to give a person all the Information so they can make an informed decision.

Comfortable with killer views!

We were looking for a last minute location to spend a low key weekend on the water. This was perfect! Clean, comfortable, perfect location and the view is unbeatable. Not a ton of sand to sit on the beach but we got out there during low tide and it was fantastic. Walked to Malibu Pier and the Country Mart. Loved it! We will be back for sure.

Beautiful location

Located right on the beach, the bungalow has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. We saw dolphins swimming at a couple of hundred yards. Beach was accessible when the tide was low in late mornings and afternoons. You can walk down to the pier in one direction and walk to wider beach in the other direction. Cruz was very helpful in finding a second parking spot for one day and night. I'd suggest bringing toiletry supplies with you if you are staying for more than a day. Maybe we could have asked for replacement of individual toiletry supplies but didn't see any signs and didn't think of asking for it. Overall a very good experience for us.
