Long weekend getaway

This is the perfect location to visit Malibu. The beachfront property and beach access is fabulous, definitely outweighs some oversights. Our biggest issue was when we arrived, the heat was on and the inside temp was 79 degrees while outside it was almost 90 degrees. We were slowly able to cool it down after 24 hours, but that was not the best way to start our stay. It has the makings of a great property, just needs some TLC and extra attention to small details (there was no salt and pepper, could use a nice freshening up, etc.)

Terrific Place, Gorgeous Beachfront - But Loud Weekday Construction Very Near

This place is perfect - renovated, pristinely clean, comfortable, beautiful location. I recommend staying here to anyone. It is laid out nicely and worked well for us. Of course the reason to stay here is the beach, which is incredibly private and gorgeous. This location has a lot of deep beachfront, which properties further south of the pier on PCH do not have. I also love the location on Malibu Road for quiet and safety - again, it is not on PCH with cars zinging by. Highly recommend this property. The only downside is a temporary one if staying during the week. We came during the week when the listing stated the price had adjusted slightly during the week due to “minor construction across the street”. Well, I think of roofers, or pavers, or plumbers - but alas - this was major - two enormous cranes, a crew of 20-30 workers next door pile driving all day beginning at 6:59am and ending around 3:45pm. Once they left in the afternoon it was peaceful - we slept with the windows open listening to the waves all night. Then at 6:59am, an alarm clock no one could sleep through. The workers were organized and polite, but the massive machinery was not. I am sure staying here on the weekend is lovely. Until the house adjacent to next door is completed, just be aware of weekday construction. I would like to say only nice things and can overlook a lot, but this was exceedingly loud. We decided to go with it, got up early, went to get coffee at Malibu Country Mart and came “home” later.

Thanksgiving 2023

Spot on location for Pepperdine Campus! Thanksgiving weekend was fabulous in this property with my daughter who's a Pepperdine Student. The hosts had everything readily available, even down to the kitchen supplies which was great. Having the beach at your finger tips was amazing. This unit is the perfect size for 2 people. Only one request, could use some new fluffier seat cushions on the patio deck lounge chairs. Looking forward to staying again !

Unbelievable Location and Views

It was the perfect spot for a weekend away while attending a wedding. The moment we arrived we saw a grey whale breach the water. It was a perfectly timed 'welcome to Malibu' moment! We relaxed while watching dolphins play, whales breach and slap the water, and lots of cute doggies running on the beach. This apartment is wonderfully suited for 2 people. It is upstairs, so wheelchairs or walkers would not be able to make it into this particular unit but there are others at this property on ground level.

Great location. Unit exactly as described. Granddaughter stayed on pull out bed and it was very comfortable. Saw dolphins each day!

Fantastic location in Malibu and great unit

The view was amazing and the unit was nicely remodeled. The host provided great directions to get access and use the place. The A/C worked very well. There was direct beach access. Very nice place, will definitely come back.

Location! Location! Location!

Wow, what a fantastic find. We were traveling from CT and wanted to stay near or on the beach in Malibu. So glad we found this place. As advertised it is cozy and was a little tight for 4 of us, but Marc was very upfront about that when we requested to book it, so no surprises there. Apartment is right on the beach. But even better, it's not on the PCH. Great Location. Easy drive to some local restaurants, supermarket, and shopping. Quiet. Great place to spend a relaxing weekend on the water. Would absolutely look to book this again on our next trip to CA.

Quiet, on the beach, lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay. This home is right on the beach and away from the main road, so very peaceful. It is set back on the second story and does look out over the roof of the first floor which impacts your view, but the owner shows pictures of this on VRBO, so no surprises. We came with our little chihuahua and because the home is on a private beach along with many other homes we were able to take her on the beach and had a lovely time. (Dogs aren't allowed on the public beaches in Malibu). The home is well cared for. We will be coming back!

Good location!

Good location - right on the beach in Malibu. Place is cozy - small kitchen & bedroom with not a lot of room. Kitchen did not come with a dishwasher which was disappointing given the high daily rate. Place was clean & appeared to be properly sanitized.

Great Location In Malibu

My son and I stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The property was convenient and just the right size for 2/3 people. I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the ocean. The owner was very responsive to my questions and check in was easy. I would recommend.

This is the second time I have booked this wonderful apartment in Malibu. It's exactly what my husband needed for a solo getaway and we will definitely be back later in the summer. I would stay every weekend if I could afford it.

We REALLY enjoyed our time here. The host was amazing with communication. They went above and beyond and it’s much appreciated! The pictures of the place aren’t exact but it’s basically the same. I would stay here every trip to Malibu every chance I get! 5 star stay

Beautiful Property

The booking and check in process was so simple. Marc was an amazing host. Very communicative and accommodating! The property is stunning. Aside from the ocean views from the glass lined balcony, all the appliances were brand new. The decor was a perfect combination of modern and beach chic. Would absolutely stay here again!
