Esta es una casa de vacaciones de alquiler en Corolla en la subdivisión de Ocean Sands Sección 'D' en los bancos exteriores OBX de Carolina del Norte. La casa está ubicada en un espacio abierto con exposición sur, aproximadamente a 110 yardas del acceso a la playa o 130 yardas de la playa misma. Se alquila de domingo a domingo. Se proporciona limpieza, pero debe traer sus propias sábanas y toallas. La casa es perfecta para sus vacaciones familiares o multifamiliares. Kelly’s Beach Retreat

Great location in Corolla. Close to the Harris Teeter grocery store and many other shops and restaurants in the area. The kitchen is well outfitted for nearly any meal you can think of serving. Would definitely book again for our next stay in Corolla if available.

Great week!

We had such a great time and loved the house and accommodations! Glenn was so helpful and the house was so easy to live in (stocked with coffee machine and anything to cook and grill for the week). We loved it, nice quiet neighborhood and the beach access point and private beach was so nice. Definitely would book again and loved our first family OBX week here!

Great Time

One of the best houses!

My family, including my sister's family, recently rented Glenn's Beach Retreat and we couldn't have been more pleased. From the location to the beach, house amenities, and layout of the house, it was a fabulous week. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a house rental in the Corolla area to check out this house, you will not be disappointed!

We Will Be Back!

This was the perfect place for our family! It had everything our family needed for a great week at the beach! It was close to restaurants but had a well stocked kitchen for the nights we cooked at home. It was private and secluded but the stores were easily accessible, and Glenn was the perfect host! We’re already looking at the calendar to book again!

We had a wonderful week at the house! The house is definitely set up for families. Our group was made up of grandparents, parents and children, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was spotless and extremely well stocked with anything that we needed. The location is fantastic and backs up to an open space. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach even for very small children. The pool/shaded seating area was perfect for the kids if they needed a break from the beach. The extra refrigerator with ice maker and full-size washer/dryer are also a big plus. Owner was very responsive to our questions We have rented many houses both at the Outer Banks and when traveling out west and this is by far one is the best!

Wonderful Retreat!

This property was everything we'd hoped it would be, and a wonderful space for cousins to reconnect after several covid years apart. What we loved the most were the communal spaces that were so welcoming for family chats and dinners. The walk to the beach was short and easy and the space was spotless when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely time away.

Kelly's Beach Retreat is a lovely home that did not disappoint! The home is in a quiet neighborhood spot, but also conveniently located to Harris Teeter and other shopping, It was clean and well-maintained. I can substantiate the many postive reviews about the well-stocked kitchen as we enjoy cooking at home and found everything we needed! The kitchen area is spacious, which is great with a number of adults in the kitchen. The short walking distance to the beach was an important factor in choosing this home since we had a grandchild with us, and it was not oversold. As an extended family we enjoyed several meals on the screen porch, evening games at the table, and everyone -- at various times -- enjoyed quiet time on the back deck in the mornings and relaxing by and in the pool. Besides the outside shower stall to use after the beach, the pool area also has a restroom conveniently nearby. The homeowner was responsive and upfront in all of our communications. We definitely would like to be back again!

Family Getaway

Home Away From Home

For a week, Glenn Kelly's house was home for us. Located just feet from the ocean, Kelly's Beach Retreat provided all the comforts of home. We had differing age groups, and there was something there for everyone. Linens were provided, and the house was stocked with plates and utensils that allowed to cook most nights. Our dogs loved the place.

Great house, great location

Our extended family enjoyed this house for a week. The house is spacious, clean and stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and for the beach! We brought a big bag of beach toys, but really didn’t need them. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood and a nicely situated between Duck & Corolla for easy access to many restaurants and shops. Glenn provides great recommendations for activities and dining. Highly recommend!

Family Week

Our second annual stay in OBX with entire family. This year we were so happy with the house. It made our vacation so awesome. The house was roomy, clean, perfectly located (the path to the beach was steps from us). The new pool was a hit with the little ones (and adults too!). The host is very attentive and it was one of the best appointed kitchen I have had in a rental. We like to cook in a bit and it was like being home!! A lot of personal touches to this property and it did not go unnoticed. Will definitely go back!!!

Perfect Beach house

This beach house is absolutely perfect! We loved our stay. So close to the beach. The walk was very easy and we had 4 small children ages 2-9. The house has been well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals at home. It’s the perfect location in Corolla. Beach was perfect. We loved off the wall tap, uncle Ike’s, and the hidden beer garden. Glenn was the absolute best host. He was super helpful and had wonderful recommendations for our trip. The check in and check out process was very easy. Would 100% Recommend this home. 5+++ stars. It’s in the perfect area in Corolla.

A Very Pleasurable Experience

The whole process of reserving and paying for this Vacation Rental was a smooth process. The owner was very accommodating in answering any and all questions we had for him. The "Cottage" was spotlessly clean upon arrival. During our stay we discovered that virtually everything that you could need during your stay had been thought of and provided. We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness that was put into equipping the home for the potential renters. All of the rooms were appointed very well and were comfortable. The Proximity of the dwelling to the beach was exceptional. We would certainly be agreeable to stay here in the future. We were also very impressed that the home was very roomy and comfortable. The Kitchen was amazing, very roomy and well laid out.

Nice property close to the beach

A nice place and great value. Easy walk to the beach with nice surrounding amenities. We also liked that it had character but with minimal "knick-knacks" and no carpet. We enjoyed our getaway at Kelly's Beach Retreat! The only minor thing that caught us was that it lists the place as 4 full baths, but it is really 3 full baths with an outdoor shower. That may be a VRBO thing because when we looked closer, it breaks it out that way, but I didn't look at the details of the bathrooms until we arrived. Not a deal breaker but just something to keep in mind. On the plus side, having an outdoor shower with hot water was really handy to rinse off each day after returning from the beach. Overall a lovely bright, relaxing house with plenty of deck space, common areas, a good kitchen for meal prep, and decent-sized rooms. We would come back!

Loved this home!

Comfortable, clean, great amenities. Easy walk to the beach and close to shopping. Responsive owner. Central vacuum was especially appreciated to keep up with pet hair and sand. Hoping the owner will rent to us again next year. Really the only thing I didn’t like about this house was that I had to leave :(

My name is Glenn Kelly. I manage the property for my family. All of us love the Outer Banks! We have been coming to the OBX as an extended family since 1988. We have seen many changes over the years.

Our house is located in the Ocean Sands subdivision. Ocean Sands is a family friendly, private community with homes developed on quiet cul-de-sacs. Our house is at the end of the cul-de-sac located on open space with southern exposure. We are located in section D which one of the smallest sections of homes meaning the beach is not crowded. There is plenty of space for football, frisbee, volleyball, surfing, fishing, etc. It is a perfect place for a family vacation.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our house is a short easy walk to the beach through a designated path between two cul-de-sacs. The house has the kitchen and living area on the second floor with most of the bedrooms on the top floor. This works out great for families or folks with bad knees as there is a bedroom on the second floor too. The ground floor has the utility room, outside shower, pool bath room and saltwater pool with optional heat along with beach equipment and toys. You and your family will have a great time at Kelly's Beach Retreat!
