Vidanta Grand Luxxe

We loved our stay at Grand Luxxe. We stayed in tower 5. The 2 bedroom loft was incredible. We loved all the pools and the nice beachfront seating. Scott and Lacy were outstanding. They put in a lot of work to get us an extra studio unit to accommodate some extra people during a very busy spring break week. They were very responsive and helpful in planning our vacation.

Great resort - make sure to book right room

Really fantastic. Beautiful problems. Not perfect but I think absolute best in PV area. Just be sure to get room and building that works for you and/or your family.

I am happy you enjoyed your stay at the Loft. The resort has five buildings for Grand Luxxe with some closer to the beach and some near the kids club/pools. On your next visit we can change the room type and request a specific building you desire that fits the family's needs and location preference. Thanks again for staying at the Loft!

Scott and Lacy were very helpful

I had stayed at Vidanta before and was originally hesitant to book via VRBO, but Scott and Lacy were so nice and communicative. They provided me with all the information I needed and checked-in after we arrived to make sure all went well. I would definitely book from them in the future.

Amazing vacation

We have stayed at the Grand Luxxe (Punta building) during a separate vacation, so we are pretty familiar with the grounds. This time, we stayed in the 2 bdrm Loft in Tower 5. The Lofts are just beautiful (frankly, so is are the rooms in the Punta so you really can't go wrong.) In the Lofts, there is a huge kitchen and beautiful large terrace (we faced the tennis courts), 2 large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as a loft area with a sofa bed and separate full bathroom. Our 12 year old daughter slept on the sofa bed and said it wasn't really comfortable - but honestly that is just nitpicking. The place was gorgeous and very clean. We never had to call for more towels - there were plenty! The concierge on the floor was very helpful (and super nice), as well. The tram system takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, you and your kids can zoom around the large campus. There are pools with different vibes (quiet to a south beach feel.) My advice is to try them all and decide. My only real complaint about the Grand Luxxe is that it's "hard" to get off campus (we would leave 45 minutes- 1 hour prior to our dinner reservations), and the food at the hotel is eh. Normally, I'm not a big fan of hotel food and this place is no different. The "fancier" hotel restaurants are mediocre at best and costly. My advice is to stick to the more casual restaurants if you want to stay on campus or plan ahead and explore the awesome restaurants in the towns (all are sooo reasonable for big groups!) We are already looking forward to our trip next winter break at the Grand Luxxe. We love this place and highly recommend it!

Great stay and fantastic condo

Overall we had a great stay at the Grand Luxxe. Scott and Lacy were super easy to work with and were very helpful in the weeks leading up to the trip. The Grand Luxxe resort itself is beautiful and in great condition. Service is a 10 and we did not meet a single employee of the resort that wouldn't go out of their way to help. The only negative, if there is one, is that the resort is huge. While it is large in size, we were ok with that, it is more that it sometimes feels like a cruise-ship on land with the four resorts (Luxxe, Bliss, Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace) all within Vidanta. For example, it was semi-challenging to get dinner reservations if you did not book far ahead. We also couldn't get on the tennis courts as they were fully booked the entire week we were there. It also became very tough to get seats by the pools that were heated. Overall, we had a great time and would go back again and try and book through Scott and Lacy if we did, but you need to understand it is a very different environment than a typical 5-star resort.

Excellent Time!

We just got back from a week stay at the Luxxe booked with Scott and Lacy. We had a 2 bedroom villa. We went over spring break with our 15 year old and 12 year old. Everyone loved the property. We literally never left the property except to go to and from the airport. The rooms are very large and well kept. We were in Tower 4 which at first seemed far away, but we ended up liking the building. It has a nice pool right in front of it. While the property is large, it takes about 5 minutes to walk from Building 4 to 1. We walked everywhere and nothing was more than 10 minutes away. We have gone to Hawaii a dozen times and Mexico several. This was our first time to Mexico that was not all-inclusive. We treated it as all-inclusive never leaving the property, eating and drinking poolside (11-3 is 2 for 1 daily happy hour!), buying food and alcohol at the market, ordering room service and going out for dinner. It ended up costing us less then other all inclusive properties, and substantially less than Hawaii. The other upside is we (and all of the guests) didn't seem to overindulge as seen on some all-inclusive properties. (There are meal plans one can buy from the concierge). The property is very well kept and the staff is fantastic. Some Mexican resorts you get overwhelmed at the beach by vendors and at the front desk with timeshares. Not here. There was a central vendor location on the beach and one had to reach out to find-out about timeshare options. Even though it was spring break and essentially sold out, it never felt that way. There are so many pools that there was room for all. While the main Mayan pool was very busy, we would sometimes show up at 11 at a Luxxe pool and find plenty of seating. The property also had a broad mix of college students, to young families, to older families to Age 55+ with everyone seeming to enjoy themselves. Scott and Lacy were great. They promptly respond to my questions, assisted us finding the right room type for my family, provide insight into on property activities and meals. It was about as seamless as it gets. We highly recommend booking with Scott and Lacy and staying at the Luxxe.

Amazing!

The resort meet and beat all of our expectations! Service and staff were wonderful and the room was incredible! Many dining options from gourmet French to grab and go! Room service menu very extensive (including pizza delivery). Resort is big, but with many shuttles and ample walk way to get around. We're already looking at our schedule for a repeat trip! Scott and Lacy were wonderful to work with! Looking forward to booking another trip with them!

Excellent!! All services and amenities exceeded our expectations.

Scott and Lacy were extremely helpful from the start in assisting us with our reservation. The property is beautiful and everything is kept in "tip, top" shape. Service is incredible and the restaurants are unbelievable. 100% recommended!!!

Don't hesitate....luxury awaits!

This is a fabulous rental in a beautiful, luxury resort. Top notch finishings throughout with stunning gardens. Great customer service and amenities. The suite is exactly as shown in the pictures (even better in person!) The patio is absolutely spectacular. The platinum status was a real bonus. All of our interactions - arranging golf, transportation, massages, dinner reservations - were easy and seamless. There are many restaurants on the property to choose from as well as a gourmet market and lovely shops. The property is huge but we walked everywhere. Shuttle service is provided if you prefer. The beach is large and private. Many pools to choose from. Scott was a total pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property, the loft, and Scott. Can't wait to return!

Absolute Luxury!!!

We recently returned from the Grande Luxxe in Nuevo Vallarta and had an amazing time. This resort truly has something for everyone...Staying in a 2 bedroom loft, the accomodation blew us away. We have stayed at some luxury resorts over the years but nothing compares to this! The rooms are huge with a beautiful balcony, outdoor lounge and plunge pool. Every little detail has been thought of at the resort. Omar our personal concierge (each floor in our building had its own concierge) provided great insight and assistance into local activities and resort facilities and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The food on property was fantastic. You never have to eat at the same place twice given all the choice but we had to return to Azur which was delicious. It's very close and convenient to the airport and the town of Puerto Vallarta isn't too far if you want to go and explore. Lacy, the owner, provided us with seemless support from pre booking through to departure. She responded quickly to all of my questions (and I had a few!) she rang the resort to ensure everything ran smoothly for us and checked in upon our arrival Which made all the difference. She can help you choose the accomodation that will work for you as there are multiple options and it comes with platinum membership giving you further privileges like reserved pool seating and priority dinner reservations which I can see would be very helpful to have in high season. Thank-you Lacy...We can't wait to return!!!

The Grand Luxxe is truly Grand!

The Grand Luxxe is spectacular at every turn of the corner, whether it be the grounds, the pools and most especially the room. The staff treated us like royalty at every encounter. And finally, I was a bit nervous arranging the trip using VRBO but Scott was beyond excellent and assisted me to arrange the entire vacation without a single glitch. If I could, I would give the resort and my dealing with Scott 6 stars.

Best resort I've stayed at in my life

I recently stayed at the Loft and it was the nicest place I have ever been to. The balcony is amazing, we watched the sun set over the ocean every night. Lots of pools to choose from and plenty of restaurants on property and nearby. Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Transaction was very smooth and Lacy is very knowledgeable and responsive. Definitely recommend if you are traveling to Mexico.

This property caters to all styles of vacationers. The Grand Luxxe is a AAA five diamond award winning resort. This truly is luxury at its finest with excellent staff tending to your every need. There is really no reason to leave the resort: fine dining with multiple types of cuisine, nightly entertainment, shopping onsite at La Plaza, Spa and golf onsite and tons of pools / beach / sand.
