Una espaciosa unidad independiente de 1200 pies cuadrados a nivel del suelo de una villa de dos pisos con grandes 25 pies. X 14 pies de piscina ubicada en el galardonado destino de vacaciones de sol y playa de Manuel Antonio, ubicado en el corazón de la verde selva tropical del Pacífico Central. La unidad cuenta con 1 dormitorio con cama queen más futón tamaño queen en la sala de estar (para 4 personas), 1 baño, cuarto de lavado, cocina totalmente equipada con barra de desayuno y mesa de comedor para cuatro en el interior y en la terraza de la piscina. Nuevo calentador de agua eléctrico de 40 galones reemplazado 12/12/18 NOTA: Se requiere un mínimo de dos (2) noches de estadía para reservar esta propiedad.

Esta villa de nueva construcción, Manuel Antonio, está rodeada de vegetación tropical y abundante flora y fauna. Perfecto Escape

La casa es bien amplia y está en una pequeña montaña en medio de la jungla, muy agradable, tranquilo, seguro y cerca de todo (en automóvil). La casa tiene todas las comodidades y accesorios que uno pueda necesitar. Es un poco difícil de encontrar, pero Barry fue muy amable en irnos a buscar. En la primera planta que uno se aloja hay total privacidad de día y de noche, incluyendo la piscina, la cuál tiene una hermosa iluminación nocturna.

Big place, great location!

So glad we booked this spot!! Firstly, the location is great, in terms of ease getting right up into Manuel Antonio restaurants and beaches and parks. I’m glad we were not in the lower MA beach area. (And Quepos is more for locals and isn’t as beautiful as being up in nature. Also glad we weren’t deep in that town area although it was a VERY short easy drive to hit the grocery stores.) The jungle feel in the mountainside was amazing. We had scarlet macaws flying around, toucans, and more. The pool was clean and the shallow end was amazing for my two toddlers. There’s some dirt road portion and then a short steep driveway, but our little rental car did totally fine. And maps apps work to get around. With Costa Rica prices being outrageous, this was an incredible deal. The owners will help you out with any needs. The kitchen has plenty of plates, cups, cookware, large coffee pot, etc. I made family meals very comfortably there. The living room space is large. Great place to relax at when your home, in and outside. Bathroom is also clean. I’d say this is a great place, much better than photos!!!My only con is that if you have a bad back, the primary bed was not super supported in the middle… hopefully it’ll be fixed/replaced soon.

Secluded and secure!

Spacious first floor, with great patio and refreshing inground pool to yourselves. You can see macaws and monkeys while you sit out with your morning coffee. Let Barry recommend the mangrove tour. It was the best tour we’ve taken on our whole trip!

Pocket of Paradise

Excellent accommodations located within a short drive (few minutes) to Quepos shopping and attractions, yet feels comfortably secluded from the hustle of town. As indicated in the description, you have exclusive access to the bottom suite of this two story home. The hosts respect your privacy and are readily available if you should need anything in this well furnished vacation home. Barry is very knowledgeable of the area and Costa Rica in general, providing a wealth of information and tips, just ask! The suite also has an attached laundry room available for use, which is so much more convenient than hauling your laundry to be serviced in town, should the need arise. My family and I enjoyed swimming in the private pool, observing the exotic wild life that would occasionally pass by.

Short stay

The suite is large and well appointed. Very comfortable. Basically impossible to find, but Barry will come out to get you. (hint: stay left at the pink statues) Barry was very attentive and offered to help with whatever we needed.

Pura Vida in the rainforest

What a great time we had staying at Villa Vista Verde! We loved having our own pool and patio to swim and watch the wildlife. It’s surrounded by the rainforest and we saw both white-faced and titi monkeys, red macaws, lizards and a variety of beautiful birds and butterflies. Barry and Annie are wonderful hosts and eager to help with tours or anything we needed. The rental space was comfortable and spacious enough for my husband and I and our adult granddaughter.

Great communication from hosts

The place was very clean except the bedroom needs a deep clean. Lamp shades, window sills and bedframe. Very centrally located. Barry is willing to help with any questions and has printed maps and activity brochures at the location for you. Would recommend this place, but did not love the bed. Frame is very freaky and is coming apart in spots .

Definitely will stay again!

Wonderful, quiet spot with a good size pool. Barry and his wife went way out of their way for me to have an amazing stay! Everything you need is there. If there is any issues, Barry is right on it. Everything was very clean and enjoyable. As far as them living above, it was never an issue. They give you all the privacy you want. I did by choice, spend some time with Annie, Barry's wife and had great conversations. Not only did I enjoy my stay, I made new friends! The bus stop is only about 15 minute walk and easy to get transportation cheap. Thank you both, Barry and Annie! I will be back!

Lovely place

We stayed here because of the reviews and were really happy with it. There's a pool to cool off in, a kitchen, washing machine, comfy beds, bathroom and sofas with TV. Barry and his partner live upstairs and friendly. They've 3 friendly small dogs and are on hand if we ever beeded anything or trip recommendations. They're passionate which is great! Would recommend a stay here

Relaxing time at Vista Ville Verde

Vista Ville Verde was a delightful and restful place to stay. Communication with Barry was excellent. The best we've experienced on VRBO. Pros for us were amount of space in the unit, a full working kitchen, washer and dryer, private pool and HOT water. It's a relaxing place to come home to after a busy day of excursions. Plus the wildlife! We saw macaw's, sloths, toucanet's, iguana's just right by the property. So fun!

Especially helpful if you're a newbie

We were green! We hadn't been able to research Costa Rica as much as we wanted due to some family issues, but Barry and Annie were able to get us on the right track. We blew a tire our first night, and Barry even drove us around the area trying to find a tire. He helped us understand the money exchange and oriented us to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. We also greatly enjoyed the activities he recommended-a mangrove tour, sunset sails, and restaurants. The house is larger than the pictures make it look, and comfortable! There are 2 mini-splits that are easily able to keep the house cool, and there are ceiling fans in each room(5). The house has wi-fi and a land line phone for calls in country. The pool is excellent, there were a pair of nesting Macaws just down the road, and there was other wildlife on the property. We would especially recommend this as a first stop for newbies.

I had a great time at Barry and Annie's property. Because I had a car, it was very conveniently located outside of Quepos, not too far from the beautiful National Park in Manuel Antonio. Barry was especially helpful in tips for the area.

Most gracious host

The home has old world charm and the pool and patio is very private (we had it all to ourselves). The best part of our stay was our host Barry. He went way out of his way to accommodate us and to make our stay as carefree as possible. We could not have asked for a better host.

Villa Vista Verde

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Villa Vista Verde! Barry was very helpful and picked us up when we arrived in Quepos and dropped us off at the end of our stay. He was also able to book us a Mangrove kayaking tour at a discounted rate which we really enjoyed! The house is only a few minutes away from the bus station and conveniently located right between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Be aware that the driveway is steep and can get quite slippery in the rain. We really enjoyed having our own private pool and what felt like our own private rain forest! We saw so many animals just walking down the driveway to the bus stop everyday - our favorites were the squirrel monkeys and the toucans! We also hiked to the waterfall behind their house which was was more challenging than we expected (had to cross the river multiple times) but so worth it once we made it to the top of the falls. It really was the perfect place for us as we were just looking for a simple place to stay with privacy and great wildlife sightings. You can't go wrong if you book Villa Vista Verde!

Huge area

The property is large and private with only the owners on site. Coffee by the pool in the morning. So nice. All amenities were there and good condition. Towels were musty smell as had not been dried completely. Just ran them through the washer and dryer again. Pool area is great but could have used daily sweep due to leaves falling. All in all. Once settled in was very relaxing.

Wonderful Host Couple!

Delightful Hosts defintely respect your privacy. Their presence is a comfort 'just in case'! Taxis readily available. Most drivers speak some English. Laundry room a plus! Pool & watching monkeys fantastic.

A Great Hideaway

We stayed for 6 days and completely enjoyed our time. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The villa was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. Although the weather could have been better (it rained half the time), the surroundings were beautiful and private. The pool was refreshing and enjoyable.

A beautiful jungle retreat with private pool

Our group of 3 spent 6 nights here in February. Barry was very responsive to all of my questions and provided lots of helpful information via email leading up to our visit which was greatly appreciated. The property is located at the end of a road off of the main highway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio and is situated in a very peaceful and quiet jungle setting. Access to our own private pool was so appreciated after a long, hot day of exploring the area and it was nice to enjoy the sunrise on the patio in the mornings. The unit was clean and well equipped with good amenities. The hot water showers were very appreciated. The only downside was the very lengthy 1 1/2 hour check-in discussion on our arrival. Although Barry provided us with a lot of useful information about the area and the property, way too much of our time was taken up with his own personal stories and views, some of which were rather negative or self-promoting and not what we wanted to hear on our holiday time. Unfortunately during this lengthy indoor check-in discussion, we missed enjoying the visiting monkeys who came close to the property just outside and which we unfortunately did not get the chance to see again up close during our stay which was disappointing. If the owner could stay focused on the guest experience and keep the check-in process discussion to a minimum it would make for a much better introduction. Once we got settled however it was an enjoyable stay and Barry did assist us with securing a discounted catamaran tour as well as a shuttle back to the airport which was appreciated. We also enjoyed visiting with their lovely pets and the resident iguana. This property is a great value and situated in a nice location close to all area attractions.

I am a semi-retired nurse-midwife still doing international health work part time. My husband is a retired private business owner. We are both volunteering time with Kids Saving the Rainforest in nearby Quepos, a wildlife rescue, rehab & release center that offers tours of the wildlife sanctuary.

Beautiful setting, quiet, private, conveniently located near beaches, restaurants, Manuel Antonio National Park, private pool, visiting wildlife, economical. Access to excellent healthcare if needed 10 minutes away. Completely self-contained unit with completely equipped kitchen and laundry room. Sleeps 4. We live upstairs in our own private home.
