Gorgeous renovated 3 bedroom 3 bath plus two twin beds (loft area) in a compound located at Fire Island Pines, one block from the Atlantic Ocean and some of the most majestic beaches on the Eastern seaboard. High end brand new kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless appliances. Brand new solar heated inground pool, one of the largest in Fire Island, and 7 person hot tub. Propane bbq on each level. Outdoor kitchen/bar area with sink, DW and fridge with icemaker. Wireless two zone surround sound, one for the outdoors and one for the main living area. Three bedrooms, one with king bed and ensuite bath adjacent to pool deck (can be converted to two twin beds), one queen bed with private bath and balcony, and one adjacent to pool deck with queen bed. Two additional twin beds located on the loft …Extensive grounds, multiple decks and seating areas with a truly private feel. All brand new furnishings are sure to provide you with a high end vacation experience. Desirable east end location with an only 7 minute walk to the harbor where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining and nightlife. Enjoy views of the Great South Bay from the loft. This home will give you the feeling of your own private compound.

Rentals are from Thursday at 4 PM through Thursday at 10am

Relaxing Week

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The pool was amazing and provided much relief from the heat. The home is a short walk to the beach, but still very secluded. Overall, the stay was amazing. We also brought our Frenchie and he loved every moment being at the house.

Lovely house - great for large groups

Went with 8 friends, we all fit in nicely, the house is quite lovely, great hot tub, bar, pool. Good space to cook too. Definitely would come back again!

Amazing House

Absolutely loved staying here for the week with friends. The pool is amazing. Love the outdoor space. Inside was super nice as well. Above all, the owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond for any needs we had while staying there! Would definitely book again.

Oasis in the Pines

Close enough to the harbor for a quick walk to tea but far enough that you became immersed in the island. Fantastic pool setup that felt like a resort. Bluetooth outdoor speakers and in main part of the house. Incredible communication by hosts before stay and answered all questions during. Thanks for a great 8 days!

Everything was even better than my friends or I could have expected! Just from walking in off the main road, you can easily see how secluded and private the house and pool are because of the amazing landscaping. Upon checking in, we were warmly met by the owner and promptly given a good tour of the property. Our groceries had already been delivered to the house, which made us able to get our vacation started!Twice we had quick questions for the owners, and they responded immediately and were able to come check on the house promptly when needed, too. We had absolutely no problems with the wifi—or any of the electronics—during our stay. It was awesome being able to easily connect our own music to the pool and jacuzzi speakers; it made our house our favorite place to hang on the island. There's ample storage at the house, and the washing machine, dryer, air conditioning, and dishwasher all worked seamlessly. The beds were comfortable, and the entire house was extremely clean upon check-in. All of the bathrooms were spotless, and the showers all worked well. We cooked each night at the house and we were never without the proper utensils or dishware. 10/10 stay, and we would love to come back!

Great location…to everything!

Tom and Kevin could not have been better hosts. And the photos of the pool area don’t do the place justice. You’re on FIP Blvd but you’d never know it because the house is set back and surrounded by trees. Will rent again!

Great Location, Needs Some TLC

The good: This property was in a great location on the island. The living area is fun upstairs and was perfect for cooking, dinner together, talking, games, and hanging out. The hot tub worked well and it was fun to be able to cast music both inside and outside. Having grills upstairs and downstairs by the pool was very convenient and we used those every day. Things to know: The house does sleep 8, but note that the 4th bedroom is a loft area open to the main living area and doesn't have much privacy. The pool is heated by a solar heating system so if it's cold or cloudy, you won't get much from it. To improve: Photos show the property in a little better condition than it's in now. There is some maintenance, upkeep, and deep cleaning on the house that needs some TLC but it didn't detract too much from the trip. Kevin and Tom were nice to work with, but the communication leading up to the trip could have been more proactive. Overall, a nice stay on Fire Island.

A very pleasant stay

I stayed at Tom and Kevin's place with 7 friends. We all loved the house. Its backyard and pool are just amazing. When our friends stopped by for visits they all were jealous of the pool. It was very easy to communicate with Tom and Kevin. They answered all of my questions(and my friends had many questions hahahah) promptly and fast. I'd stay there again for sure, and I'd recommend the house to others too.

Perfect Fire Island Experience!

Kevin and Tom were amazing hosts. They welcomed us with open arms and were hospitable and responded promptly to all questions I had throughout the week. They even came by a few times to explain instructions for the speakers/hot tubs, etc. i really appreciated them going the extra mile. The house is incredible - full of great outdoor spots and comfortable rooms and common areas. and in a perfect location in the Pines. I would absolutely stay here again and I thank the hosts for making this an incredible 30th birthday trip for me and my best friends!

Unfortunately, we were all disappointed. The pictures are not an accurate representation and, certainly, this is not a "breathtaking" property. The major problem was the pool which had a leak and had been re-patched except the patch kept coming off. It meant the pool needed constantly refilling with a hosepipe resulting in the water being consistently very cold (71 degrees). The timer had also been reset incorrectly which the owners acknowledged but the effect of both of these things meant that no one could use the pool at all during the week which was the whole point of choosing this property. This was pretty upsetting. The house has also seen better days. It is in need of a very deep clean (dust, cobwebs and grime everywhere). In some of the rooms, it looked like there were fire alarms missing. The waterfall and misters never worked. There is also an animal living in the walls - I joke not. It was very loud and kept us awake. Both ensuite bathrooms were particularly affected. I saw the animal through the fan in the ensuite master bathroom at one point. We also did not have a shopping cart all week despite me asking for it and asking for pictures of it. This is my third time on FI so I understand what the properties are like and some things should just be expected but this was the worst place I have stayed on the island. In the end we christened it the "house of horrors" and made the best of it but cannot recommend. For my 40th birthday, I was disappointed and embarrassed.

Wonderful secluded getaway

Tom and kevin are wonderful hosts. Kevin was on top of all our needs and questions If you want a wonderful getaway home which is private and spacious and close to the beach then this property has it all for you Hopefully we will be back next year for a great summertime week Thanks Tom/ Kevin

Lovely but with major issues

Numerous issues with poor cleaning prior to arrival with the exception of the pool and jacuzzi which were pristine. Clearly no Covid 19 sanitization was done prior to our arrival. Several kitchen appliances such as interior of refrigerator and housewares were filthy that had to be cleaned by us before use. Multiple dead bees and a collection of dust and hair behind the tv. Master bath electrical problems caused blown fuses at least once a day. Beds were uncomfortably hard and sheets in master bedroom were stained. Outside refrigerator was not working so could not be used. The bathroom in the garden bedroom had not been cleaned - hair from previous renters was on the floor and toilet. Enjoyed the setting but the lack of cleaning issues consumed a large part of our stay and detracted from full enjoyment of the property rental. Also the lack of sanitization is a major concern for safety.

Lovely, peaceful property with room for privacy.

The bedrooms were comfortable as was the open air family room. The kitchen was fully appointed with necessary items for full meal preparation. I was disappointed that the pines had no ice cream shoppe for the children. We enjoyed trips to Cherry Grove and Ocean Bay as well.

Great Pines house!

We had a great stay at Tom and Kevin’s place. 3 private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with an incredible pool. And unlike so many Pines houses, the kitchen is modern and recently renovated. Highly recommend staying here!
