Family Getaway

Our recent stay was wonderful!! The condo was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night. And the location was close to everything we were needing. We can't wait to come back!!

The condo is amazing, and the location was perfect for our activities. It was a little difficult to navigate the entry the first time, but the owner was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Condo

This condo and what past guests have said about it lived up to the 5 star reviews. The owner was easy to reach and very accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the sitting area and TV top notch! The view was spectacular. And the condo was close to everything we needed. Even a coffee shop right out the back of condos! I will definitely be renting again from here.

Family time

This was a very cute place, clean and perfect for our weekend. There were a few hiccups, difficulties finding the parking, only one roll of TP per bath and no extra, shower products in shower were all empty…but those are minor inconveniences. We were still able to have a great weekend and enjoy seeing each other.

Beautiful and clean

We had a wonder stay. Perfect for two couples. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Very neat and clean and nicely furnished. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops downtown. Only complaint is the curtains need to be thicker to block out lights from outside. Communication with the host was delayed, but was responsive and helpful once he returned messages a day or so later.

Salt Lake Condo

Condo was great with all the facilities you would need. My only issue was with the check in. The stars on the lock box are so faint now I almost missed them. Admittedly, I had been travelling for 16 hours and was a bit bleary. We used the key to open the door in the end having tried both 6 digit codes on the weird keypad - sorry. We’re English. We just didn’t understand it. A few written words in the Condo on the recycling, parking etc. would be helpful. Apart from that a great trip

Family stay during NBA All-Star Game

The property is exactly what we needed and in a perfect location. It's a lovely condo, beautifully furnished with everything you'd need for multi-day stay. The condo is adjacent to an outdoor mall with lots of shopping options and also a Dave & Busters. For our weekend stay, there were a lot of loud and busy activities going on in this mall but that's what we expected and I'm sure this is not a normal thing. The property is very close to the trolley line, Vivint Arena and the convention center, along with dining options. We had a little trouble checking into the unit on Day 1 but we were finally able to contact the owner and resolve the issue.

Amazing work/play get away!!

This is our third or fourth year staying at this location. Not only is the interior of the condo, beautiful and comfortable but the balcony is one of my favorite places to sit, or in the Square below in front of the fountain. Jon is always quick to respond if any needs arise. Every year there has been an Italian festival in the Square below, which is super fun to watch and enjoy. I do recommend bringing an eye mask as the lights in the area below stay on all night and the curtains inside do not block any of the light. If you are a super light sleeper, there are sometimes noises from events that go until approximately 10 or 11 PM in the square below, but it’s never been an issue for us.Definitely give this location a 5 star!!!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

We had a great time at this condo. We were a party of six and stayed for a few nights. Everything was just perfect for what we wanted to do. All of the instructions were easy to follow and it was super easy to get into the condo and into the private underground parking garage. The owner was really nice and available at all times to answer questions and was super helpful in all aspects of our trip. The condo was really clean, had an amazing view with a nice balcony and is a super great location if you want to be close to everything downtown. Had all kinds of amenities in the building (gym, lounge, indoor parking) and the mall just outside the back entrance to the building - restaurants, movie theaters, Dave and Busters and retail shops all within walking distance of 5 min or less. It was modern and up to date and we were really happy that we stayed here. TV's in all the bedrooms with all the apps you could want and super comfy beds. I read all the 5 star reviews and can honestly say it was absolutely a 5 star place. I would stay here again for sure. Great value for what you get!

Great Views and Location

Nice two bedroom two bath condo overlooking the Gateway Plaza, next door to Vivant Arena. Roomy and natural light, good for hanging out in the living/dining area. Secured building with underground parking is nice. Once we parked, we never had to get back in our vehicle - everything was within our walking distance. Would definitely do this condo again in the future. A couple items: as we tried to check in - there was a bit of a delay getting access to the unit - close to an hour. After a long drive, that was a bit of an inconvenience. There were no hand towels,only 4 bath towels and wash cloths. No soap for showers. A previous person's underwear was sitting next to the printer, so we wondered how truly clean it was - but it did appear to us the unit was clean. Aside from a few minor inconveniences, the condo was great and we would definitely recommend this. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars was for the inconveniences of no extra towels, bath soap, an hour's delay in checking in, and old white underwear on the counter from someone else.

Enjoyable stay, nice accommodations, and a good experience!

This condo was everything we needed and more. We had four adult ladies in our group and were in Salt Lake for convention at Salt Palace. A full bathroom for each of the two bedrooms was absolutely ideal, except we could have used 1 more roll of toilet paper. 😀 Nice touches including a handheld mirror, full length mirror, ample counter space, and even handsoap and shampoo and conditioner was available. The kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed, including a blender to make our morning smoothies! Especially appreciated the nice glassware for storing leftovers and veggies, etc. after a trip to the store. A nice welcome basket of necessities was on the cupboard had we forgotten something, easy access to garbage removal, and a washer and dryer which proved super helpful as we had some joggers in our group. :) The underground parking ramp took a little getting used to but we figured it out (left/right type directions vs an “S turn” would be an improvement). A video was provided for checking in and proved quite helpful. Super easy checkout (without having to remove bed linens). The location was with shops, restaurants and a small grocery store nearby. With the shops and area out back, the rooms never got real dark so room darkening curtains or blinds would be a plus. Would definitely recommend! We appreciated all the attention to detail, which made our stay very nice.

Terrible host

This host is terrible. We arrived and were given instructions to find a key fob in a lockbox. The key fob was not there. Without it you can't get in the parking garage, the elevator, the unit or even the building itself. We were dead in the water. The host gave two numbers to call. We called and texted both numbers and neither answered or replied. We called and texted multiple times. We were parked in a loading zone in front of a high rise condo for almost two hours. Not knowing when or even IF the host would answer or reply, we left in search of another place. Nothing was available and we ended up ten miles outside the city. Meanwhile, we had other family waiting at the airport until we found another place to stay so they would know where to come. What a nightmare! We called VRBO the next day to get our money back. VRBO tried to contact the host for his side of the story and guess what? He didn't answer the phone for them either. This is a terrible host and I don't wish what happened to us on anyone. My strong advice is keep on looking. Buyer beware!!!

This is simply untrue and this person should never be allowed to rent on this platform again. He was given the check in instructions within 90 minutes of his arrival. We fulfilled all of our obligations as an owner in a timely manner. VRBO would not offer him a refund because as the owner we fulfilled all of our responsibilities. You can see by all of the reviews of my property by other guests that this man is simply crazy. We respond promptly and our place is immaculate. He used foul language when I spoke to him on the phone. DO NOT RENT TO HIM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

Beautiful property, great amenities, close to downtown

Completely redecorated since last year when we were here. Great location - walkable to Vivant and Salt Palace. Host provides basic pantry which is wonderful. Only downside this trip is the construction at the Gateway was loud and the nightclub at mall plays loud music quite late so we didn't enjoy the balcony as much this year, and that's obviously out of control of the property owners. Excellent condo, will stay again! Thank you for a great week!
