A very nice quaint location beach getaway

While staying during spring break, the location and the beach access was in a much quieter area that still offered plenty of amenities in Greek restaurants at walking distance. Our goal was to be low-key and have a relaxing vacation and that was easily achieved with this property and location enjoyed it very much and will come again.

Small studio but well laid out. Great beach chairs umbrella. Nice touches like herbs spices coffee in kitchen and aloe for sunburn etc in bathroom cabinet. Perfect for 2 people.

Second time at Gulf Winds. This studio was roomy and cheerful.Fashionably decorated. It was supplied with everything we needed and extras in the kitchen, bathroom ( except our own toiletries), and there were two beach chairs, umbrella and cooler available. Loved the keypad door. Restaurant in building, Paradise grill n beach steps away. Afternoons in the pool. Plenty of parking. TRS email information , perfect. Would stay again.

Had a great visit. The beach chairs and umbrella made the trip fantastic. We fly in and Uber so this is an extra that we always look for on out visits to St Pete Beach. Thanks for a great time.

Love this condo!

The location was even better than we anticipated. The condo itself is adorable and clean. Teresa in the front office is amazing! The only downside was that the walls are very thin and you hear all the noises in the hallway and outside, but definitely not a deal breaker. We’d stay here again!

Convenient Access /Good condition

It fully met my personal needs. Within walking distance to good restaurants and the beach just across the street. Convenient driving access into Saint Petersburg, I-275, Treasure Island and Saint John's Pass. Room in great condition - the photos accurately represented the room, which I've found has not always been the case.

We arrived after the office had closed and called the number you published and no one answered so we left a message. That was unsettling. However we found the lock box ourselves and they had an alternate phone number and that one was answered and got us into our unit. The unit was spotless and comfortable and we were pleased with the beach chairs found in the closet and used those every day. The television took some time to figure out how to power up and which remotes to use and it only worked from the left side of the bed as the cable box is behind the TV and is blocked from remote activity unless you are in that back corner of the room.

Ideal location and price

To start with the pros, location was right next to the beach and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. Saved us $30 a day. Recliners in the room were nice as well and the mattress was comfortable. Overall, the place was clean and we would stay again. Some cons were due to the timing we were there. There was some construction going on in another unit during the day and the place was not very sound proof.

Great location on St. Pete Beach

This property is about a 1 minute walk from beautiful St. Pete Beach. It is also located within walking distance to several good restaurants/ bars and to Gulf Boulevard which is the "main drag" of SPB. The unit was as expected. Good for two people. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a small range and oven, coffee pot, toaster and microwave. Basic utensils, dishes and silverware are included. At the time of our stay, there were two beach chairs in the closet, books in the room, and there is Spectrum cable TV. The biggest negative was the mattress. It is extraordinarily soft as a previous review mentioned, which made sleep a challenge. I didn't notice until we were leaving that there are two supports under the middle of the bed that were not touching the floor. That may have helped but I don't know that it would have been a huge difference. This unit is not on the gulf side and there isn't much of a view but its a handy location to stay at the beach. As it is an older building, the soundproofing is minimal, so you can hear your neighbors and outside traffic. Cute little condo, great location, needs a new mattress.

Nice little getaway

For the age of the building, it is clear they have worked hard to keep it clean and functional! We enjoyed our stay very much, incredibly close to the beach, in a charming and well laid out studio condo.

Weekend getaway

We had a great experience at Gulf Winds. Everyone was friendly, the check in process was very easy, and we were greeted with smiles and warmness. The location was on point and I’m walking proximity to many eateries and within walking distance to the beach. The room was as it was advertised and it was equipped with all we needed. It was very nicely decorated, the bed slept very well, and the two recliners were an added bonus. It was a much needed get away and it was like home away from home. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us.
