Disfruta de una de las mejores ubicaciones en Munds Park. Escondido en Munds Canyon con vistas panorámicas sobresalientes desde la gran terraza del patio envolvente. Tu vecino es el bosque. Un paraíso para los amantes de la naturaleza. En una tranquila calle sin salida con mucha privacidad. Caminando por la puerta trasera hacia el cañón y hacia el bosque nacional. Explore los senderos en nuestras tres bicicletas de montaña. También tenemos buenos hoyos de herradura de arena. Disfrute de nuestra gran terraza envolvente con mesa, sillas, barbacoa de gas, pozo de gas y calentador de patio. Las estrellas son increíbles por la noche.

Nuestra cabaña es acogedora y limpia. Está bien equipado con todas las comodidades habituales del hogar. Ofrecemos ropa de cama y toallas. Solo traiga su ropa, comida y bebida. Tenemos internet de alta velocidad, televisión por cable HD con Netflix, lavadora, secadora y jabón para su conveniencia. Baños en cada piso. Chimenea de leña equipada para su uso. Calefacción central más aire acondicionado para los pocos días extra cálidos que tenemos en verano.

El lago Odell se encuentra a poca distancia a pie de pesca, kayak y senderismo. Tenemos fácil acceso a rutas de senderismo, rutas en bicicleta, ATV y senderos para motos de nieve. El golf está a 0. 7 millas de distancia en el exuberante Pinewood Country Club, que está abierto al público. Los greens son increíbles. El club de campo cuenta con un popular restaurante con actividades vespertinas y nocturnas a las que se puede acceder por un cargo adicional (consúltenos, si está interesado). El club de campo y el campo de golf están abiertos en temporada de abril a septiembre (consulte con anticipación las fechas exactas de apertura / cierre)

Nuestra cabina sirve como una base conveniente para explorar el norte de Arizona. El mundialmente famoso Sedona es un recorrido panorámico fácil de 45 minutos. Flagstaff está a 20 minutos al norte con su encanto ecléctico, restaurantes y campos de golf. Esquí en la nieve en Arizona Snowbowl está a 45 minutos. El Snowbowl también es un buen lugar para visitar en verano para cenar, hacer un picnic, hacer senderismo y andar en bicicleta. El Gran Cañón está a unos 90 minutos. Otros puntos de interés incluyen Oak Creek Canyon, Slide Rock, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon Indian Ruins, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, la famosa Ruta 66, etc. Todos son relativamente cortos en coche desde nuestra cabina.

Relaxing and cozy spot with everything you need!

We had the BEST time staying here! The location is absolutely perfect with the river bed behind for nice long hikes to explore with the kids. The kitchen was stocked with spices and cooking supplies and we had everything we needed! The owners were easy to communicate with and there anytime we had a question. Would absolutely stay here again and again!

We had a fantastic experience with the weekend rental! The place was immaculately clean and felt incredibly safe, which immediately made me feel at ease. It was stocked with everything I could possibly need, from toiletries to kitchen essentials, which really made the stay effortless. The beds were super comfortable, and I slept well. Tim is also very responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return!

Solitude within easy driving distance of major destinations—Grand Canyon, Sedona, National Forests, Parks, and Monuments. House seems to have everything you could want regardless of the season. Host was great about communicating before our arrival and prior to our departure.

Everthing we needed

This was a great place to come home to after a day of exploring. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. I am used to bringing my own coffee, spices, kitchen tools, but this place had everything imaginable!

rented this cabin to be close to Grand Canyon

This property has such beautiful views and the decks you can enjoy the sound of the water below. There was still snow on the ground so the kids were able to use the snow toys and had a blast. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again for sure. Our property Mng. Tim was available and very helpful.

Lovely cabin so very well equipped with everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the deck. Where the dogs could be safe outside. Only wish there was a way to get down to the stream. Also would like more information about fishing in the lake. We all had a great time and look forward to a returning visit thanks so much for a great four days.

Beautiful and cozy cabin right next to a bubbling creek!

We had such an amazing time! The cabin was extremely clean and well-stocked. Close to the freeway, but far enough away where you feel like you are in your own world. We visited in early January to enjoyed the snow, however both of us agreed that this cabin would be an awesome summer getaway too - with the large warp around deck and outdoor ambiance! This house by far one of the most cleanest and comfortable I’ve ever stayed!!

My family and friends spent new years in this house and let me tell you!! We had an amazing time , we didn’t do much outdoors because the weather didn’t help so we spent alot of time inside! This house has everything!! Very clean, comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed it to cook our meals , amazing views.. close to gas station and a cute little bar called el borracho we had great time there, we we’re all adults, total of 8 and the house had plenty of space for all of us, This house is very very cozy in the winter , nice chimney with lots of wood to use Easy to check in and out And let me tell you ! Tim is amazing, very quick to respond to any question or concerns , I will stay here again for sure , making plans for the summer, there’s lots to do outdoors Thank you Tim for your hospitality!!

Warm Comfy Cabin Retreat on Munds Canyon Rd in Munds Park, Arizona

As a child, my grandparents had an A-frame cabin in Yosemite near Tuolumne Meadows where we had many fun family retreats, so I wanted a similar experience at least for a brief period for my family now. For a unique family get together, we decided to reserve this cabin rather than the usual hotel in Flagstaff for our youngest daughter's college graduation at NAU. Initially, I saw this cabin listed on VRBO several months back when we were scheduling our trip. It seemed to fit our needs perfectly with three bedrooms, beds for up to 9 adults, two baths, showing a classic A-frame cabin design with tongue and groove wood ceilings on the main level and upstairs. Actually, the thing that most impressed me was the spacious deck. So I was even more impressed when we arrived to find that there is a dry creek behind this property, so when you sit on the deck it is super quiet and private. Plus the deck is made out of an upgraded Trex material so you won't get a splinter if you walk barefooted. The Mahoney's have outfitted the cabin with everything you need to cook and serve your meals and it was immaculate with all the towels and soaps we needed in the bathrooms. We used the large patio dining table on the deck for our dinners and even used the fire-pit and heater later at night while stargazing. Tim has provided two bikes and a two man kayak in the basement storage area, which we didn't have a chance to use, maybe next time? One afternoon, we walked down to Odell Lake, however we couldn't see how we would even use the lake since there were many signs warning us not to trespass. On our last day, we drove to Sedona, which is a 45 minute drive either from Flagstaff using 89 or going south on 17. It was lovely weather so we got some wonderful photos of Sedona. During our stay, the weather was warm during the day, so we didn't need to use the fireplace or heater. The nights were chilly but we stayed warm under the ample covers on each bed. The beds are very soft, so that is good for those who prefer soft beds, however not so good if you need more support for your back. I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a home away from home experience in the Flagstaff area. The photos need to be updated for some of the interior views with a wide angle lens or panorama tool. Overall, I look forward to returning to revisit this lovely cabin oasis in Northern Arizona! Also, Tim was a delight to work with on reserving this property and very responsive.

Very clean and quiet

The cabin was very clean. Loved the patio. Enjoyed the horseshoe game. They have nice bike for use. We didn’t , the home is on a steep hillside and It was more work to get the bike up the driveway. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Loved the cabin.

Tim is a native of Arizona.... grew up in Scottsdale and Tempe. His wife Pam is pretty close to a native as well, moving from Ohio to Tempe as a kid. They both graduated from McClintock High School in Tempe, then ASU, have been married since 1984, live in Chandler, and have four children.

We purchased this property back in 2015 because of its unique isolated views and the feeling of being out in the middle of the forest while still enjoying the outstanding amenities of Munds Park and our vacation home. And it's only 2 hours door-to-door from our home in Chandler.
