We loved this place. We loved the host. Everything was great. If I had to change 2 things, I wish some things were closer Bec we had to do a lot of driving but also that’s not always bad because we wanted private. I also wish there was a tv in living room just because sometimes we could have used that. Also… not a bad thing because it’s good to go without tv. I got close with the host and she’s awesome and we will def stay again. Love Alaska! The view is amazing here

My husband and I loved everything about this property!!! We felt right at home and had everything at our fingertips. Very clean! Excellent location on the lake. Water access and outdoor area very convenient. Loved the sunroom! All of the lake facing windows are amazing! Very spacious. And especially loved the family history of the property.

Having been to nearly 30 countries, I can easily say Sylve’s Lake House is one of, if not ‘the’, most beautiful places in the world. With an Ansel Adam’s worthy view, it’s peaceful, well preserved but close enough to town should you need anything. Sylve could not be more accommodating and we look forward to a return trip.

Amazing

This place was perfect for our stay. Recommend for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Accommodations is all and more. Seen a few moose in the mornings which was awesome when drinking your coffee. Had a fire 1 night. We all had a great time, if we come back this would be the place to stay.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Kenai Lake House. House was well appointed with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The house was extremely clean. Beds were soft and very comfortable. Linens and towels were luxurious. The view of the lake and mountains was spectacular! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our stay could not have been better. The location of the house is possibly the most beautiful location I've ever seen. The house was in immaculate condition and the host was awesome.

Beautiful Location

Loved our stay on the lake. It was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The house was very cozy and extremely well stocked. The location was perfect for rafting, a tour of the Kenai Fjords, and day trips to Hope and Cooper Landing. Sylve was an outstanding host and went above and beyond in caring for our needs. Would love to return in the near future.

Great place

Everything with the house itself was perfect and the location is absolutely incredible. Right on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains. Loved it. Will definitely stay here again. The owner is incredibly helpful and the checking process was seamless.

The perfect lake house

Wow! This house has everything you’ll need. My boys loved skipping rocks and playing with the neighbors dog. The owner is so kind and thoughtful and makes cookies for you. Great location for all fishing adventures. Highly Recommend!!

Amazing views

Great home base for exploring the kenai peninsula. Easy drive to multiple locations. We arrived in Anchorage. Stopped at beluga point and Girwood then on to the lake house. Next we went to Homer and a couple days later Seward. And on the way back to Anchorage we stopped and cruised prince William sound. Best part of each day trip was retuning to the lake house to relax by the lake with beautiful colored water and amazing Mountain View. I would definitely stay here again

A Lovely Piece of Alaska

Our stay at the Kenai Lake House was amazing. The views and peacefulness when sitting by the lake are indescribable. We wanted to experience the beauty of Alaska on our vacation, and this cabin allowed us to do that and more. Aside from the awe-inspiring view, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and super comfortable. The host was lovely and helpful. If we have the opportunity to return to Cooper Landing, we will definitely stay at the Kenai Lake House again!

Amazing Lakefront Views

The Vrbo listing does not do this home justice. Absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains from the front porch, as well the private beach out back. From catching lake trout a few yards from the house, to watching Dall sheep on the green mountain slopes, our family had a great stay at Kenai Lake House! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for an extended family - especially with the available outside cabins. And we have never stayed in such a well-stocked home with nearly any amenity you could ask for! Did I mention that fresh baked cookies were waiting upon our arrival? Thank you Sylve for sharing your home with us and we can't wait to return again one day.

Perfect lakefront property

The Kenai Lake House has been in the family since 1974 and now you have the unique opportunity to spend your vacation in this magical location! It's a short walk on our private path to Kenai Lake beach. You can also enjoy mountain and lake views while relaxing in the house with a good book. Whether you need a quiet retreat from the crowds or a private base camp for your adventures, our lakefront house is the place for you.
