Hermoso campamento nuevo con vista a un huerto de manzanos de 30 árboles. 8 minutos a pie de playa privada y 5 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Schroon Lake. También hay una salida de 50 amp para conexión de RV con suministro de agua. Venga y disfrute del fresco olor a pino nudoso en este amplio campamento con techos abovedados, cocina moderna con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, estufa de gas, encimeras de piedra de jabón (natural de esta área), Smart TV con servicio de Internet de alta velocidad, lavadora y secadora, etc ...

Fantastic Lake Getaway

Love this cozy lake house! This is the second time we've stayed here and probably not the last! Clean and convenient to the lake and also Schroon restaurants and stores.

We've staying here multiple times in the past few years! LOVE the proximity to the lake, plus great restaurants and groceries at Schroon. Judy is an amazing host, and there's always upgrades and improvements to the property each time we go. They added a lovely garden orchard this last visit!

Perfect Lake Getaway

Beautiful rustic home with just the right amount of "cabin" but plenty of modern! We had everything we needed in the home and kitchen. Really loved the outdoor spaces and proximity to lake and hiking.

Paradox stay July 2025

Lovely 2nd floor Adirondack style apartment with beautiful garden and yard. Great location, very quiet and woodsy. Immaculately clean. Owners were onsite downstairs and were very nice, kept to themselves.

Incredible place!

Our family just had a marvelous week at The Carriage House. The house itself was clean and comfortable. The location, the lake, the woods, the fresh air was exactly what we all needed. Judy was a wonderful host and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay

The property is clean & has all needed amenities, very comfortable for our party of 6. Questions/item to address were handled promptly, Judy responded very quickly to each. Plenty of relaxation options: deck, screened gazebo & forgot area. The location is great, very serene, but close enough to town that has groceries, fuel, etc, with interstate nearby. Perfect for our motorcycle trip!

Our second visit

Just as good as the first. A clean, attractive, cozy home with all the necessities, just a stone's throw from lovely Paradox Lake, and a short drive to Schroon Lake. We'll be back!

The Carriage House was charming, spacious and well appointed. Nice deck, felt like I was in a tree house. There is a nice screen house, good size and a firepit as well. The flower garden is lovely and there were hummingbirds and butterflies all over the Coneflowers. There is access to a small private beach a short walk away too. Owners are very nice, my family felt comfortable there. We were out and about alot so it was nice to have a comfy place to chillax at night. Thank you Judy and Charlie.

A great place!

We have 5 kids ranging in age from 7-21. The 7 of us had a great stay! Very clean and new. Plenty of space for our family. The one very minor issue (that didn’t even need to be taken care of while we were there), was handled quickly by the hosts. The beach is great and a short walk down a quiet road from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

House near Paradox Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Severance. Charlie and Judy were wonderful hosts and the house was well stocked with towels, toiletries, and dishes. We cooked in several nights and had all the necessities. The location was perfect and having access to the private beach was an added perk. We took our kayaks out several times and didn’t have to fight off any crowds. We’ll definitely be back!!

Quiet cabin in the woods

Nice place. Clearly recently constructed so everything is in new condition. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with everything needed to cook with, just need to provide the food. Woodsy place with no neighbor noise and very little road traffic, just the sound of a stream in the back yard. Nice big driveway to park in, and within 10 minutes of town with a gas station, grocery store, and a handful of restaurants. Convenient to I-87 and art. 9 to head north or south. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful Adirondack Getaway

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the place. It was spotlessly clean and so charming and peaceful. It's modern and well constructed but also so cozy and rustic-feeling at the same time--the owners have pulled that combo off beautifully. The location is terrific and the beach/lake just down the road (very easy walk) that we could use was just perfect: amazing views; cool, clear, calm water; and very clean. We very much appreciated all the thoughtful touches and amenities that made us feel comfortable and at home. The owners really take care of all the little details and that shines through the house. They are very responsive and quickly got back to us with any questions we had. We definitely would love to come back for future stays in the area--it's a true gem!

Exactly what we needed

We've not had a proper family vacation in a few years, so we had high hopes for our stay. Those hopes were met. This property is just lovely, inside and out. It's situated in a wonderful, quiet bit of nature, with a small orchard, fire pit and enclosed gazebo just outside. Inside, it's homey and warm, with up-to-date amenities you might not expect in a such a pastoral setting. The owner is friendly, helpful, and responsive. All-in-all, we had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to booking our next vacation here again.

Lake Paradise

We ranged from ages 4-67 and all enjoyed our lake vacation. Judy and Charlie’s home was even better then we expected. The location was perfect with a short walk to a private beach and a town and restaurants near by. End your great day by the awesome fire pit next to the delicious smelling apple tress. We have rented many homes from VRBO and this is one of the best.
