Guest safety, comfort, and clear property descriptions are extremely important to us, and your comments help us improve how we manage and present our Northern Michigan vacation rentals. The exterior ladders you mentioned are intended for maintenance and roof access, not for guest use. Your review prompted us to reassess how visible they are and to explore options for relocating, securing, or better screening them so they do not detract from the guest experience. We are also revisiting winter driveway maintenance at this cabin, including plowing schedules, ice melt use, and pre-arrival communication so guests are better prepared for a short, steep drive in snowy conditions common across our up-north properties. The pantry storage and dining room setup you described are not the experience we want to deliver. We have already asked our team to remove non-guest items like paint supplies, refresh the pantry, and re-evaluate the dining table and chairs so families and groups can sit and dine comfortably. We appreciate you pointing this out so directly. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly and help you choose a different home from our portfolio of cabins, lodges, and lake homes that might better match your needs for a future Northern Michigan escape.
