Great Beach Lication

This was a great duplex located within one block of the beach and Main Street. We appreciated the use of the garage and dedicated parking. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were clean and comfortable. The neighbors were quiet and we slept well in the home. We enjoyed our stay.

Three Generations and Two Dogs

Our group ranged in age from 5 to 60. The location was perfect for all. Easy walking access to the beach, shopping, and many restaurants. Great dog beach about 1.5 miles away. The yard was nice for dogs with a high wall to keep them safe. The layout of the house provides for privacy.

Huntington Beach Thanksgiving

Family only, but the house had room for us. Cute place with modern, comfortable furnishings near the beach and Pier. The only downside was that it needs a deep cleaning- very dusty, with an even dirtier patio and front area. So, only gave it 3 stars.

Great place

Loved this property, very close to everything you need to enjoy HB.. The only issue we had, was the oven was dirty with grease so it set off the smoke detector every time we used it and the A/C unit in the master bedroom room leaked water on the floor.

Best vacation ever!

This home is perfect, it was just my husband and I, but could easily accommodate a larger group. The house is 3 levels, with 3 separate living areas, so plenty of room to spread out. Views of the ocean and sunset can be seen from both the front veranda and the one upstairs. We would go days without having to use our car, which was such a treat. There are several restaurants, bars and shopping all within a 5 minute walk. There is also a large shopping area about a 15 min. walk called, Pacific City which has some higher end shops and great restaurants. There is a bike path along the beach which goes for miles in either direction. It is only about 20 minutes to the Long Beach airport, which could be the easiest airport I've ever flown out of! We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

Great location

The house was very comfortable and close to the beach. We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out without being on top of each other. It was literally blocks from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We loved being able to walk to everything. There were a couple of things we didn't love about the house. The queen bed in the room upstairs was so uncomfortable that we had to put the little kids in there because they didn't know the difference and they're light. The bed could use an egg crate cushion or something on top to make it a little more comfortable. The bedroom upstairs that faces the backyard (full size and twin) got so bright and hot in the morning, it made it difficult to sleep in the morning. It could use a black out shade or dark curtains. The couch seemed very worn and didn't stay together very well. Otherwise we were pleased with the rest of the amenities and enjoyed the house overall. We would definitely stay here again.

Location

Loved the location of the house. We were close to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. All within walking distance. There was plenty of room in the house for 3 generations. The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook meals. And the kids enjoyed all the beach toys provided. Thank you for another wonderful vacation.

Great location, right around the corner from the beach and downtown.

Went to Cali for a wedding and stayed in this house for a week. Beautiful house just a minute walk from everything downtown HB. Everything was comfortable and we really enjoyed not having to battle LA traffic to have something to do.

Would be a five star, but...

Everything about this location was great. But the problem keeping this location downgraded was the master bath. Had terrible smell of mold/mildrew. Sink was backed up and no hot water in sink. Rust eating through shower/tub. In my opinion I would not stay there until this bathroom has been remodeled. Long overdue. The rest of house is great. Not sure why this one room was not done.

Can’t beat location

House Pros: Location - definitely right in the hub/close walking distance of beach, pier, shops and restaurants Nice shower upstairs Roomy bedrooms and comfortable beds Nice kitchen Comfortable furniture Nicely renovated Fully enclosed yard area for pets and children Cute upstairs patio Cons: Garage size is distorted in VRBO picture. It is small and full of stuff so our minivan just made it in and street parking is difficult to find. The one parking parallel to garage helps. When we arrived Wifi didn’t work; garage door deadbolt combination lock did not work so we changed battery; smoke alarm in upstairs bedroom was chirping so we changed battery. We could have asked property manager to have someone fix the issues but the last thing a guest wants to do when arriving in a vacation home is to have to call about problems in the home and have repair men coming in. A simple pre arrival inspection by property management could have fixed all issues before we arrived. Overall the home is very roomy and comfy, in an ideal location, and after dealing with the initial hiccups we had a great time.

So close to the beach!!!

This place was perfect for our group of 10!!! So close to the beach, the peer, all the fun in Huntington Beach! This place is beautiful, spacious, and comes with everything you need to go to the beach! The owner was easy to talk with when we had a question and worked with a group our size! Look forward to coming back!

Great trip

We had a great trip to HB, and the house was a great value given the proximity to the beach, pier, and Main Street areas. We had two families of 4 and the sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. Mike was very responsive with a few minor things we contacted him about. The garage and patio were a big plus, and the use of wagon, boogie boards, and other beach toys was awesome. I would definitely stay here again, and would rent from this property manager in the future.

We didnt end up staying here more than one night because of a major water leak on the lower level that was flooding the bathroom. We were moved to a different property that was nicer but less bedrooms and much further from the beach.

Great Location

The property was conveniently located close to the beach and the size of the property was nice for our family size. The bathroom off the master bedroom appeared to be an add on which was strange with the full glass side of shower facing the exterior fence, no ventilation and sink in the bedroom. One of the rooms appears to have a 2 double beds online, but really is a double and and single in the room., which impacted our planned sleeping arrangements. Otherwise we had a good time.

Very nice and very clean

Overall the house was very nicely laid out and was able to accommodate all of my family. What really sold us about the house was that it was so close to everything thing in town. Very impressed withHuntington Beach very clean town. Would most definitely stay at the house again and to visit Hungtington Beach. One question has my Discover card been credit for cleaning and security fee.Thank you again for opening your to me and my family.

Best time ever!!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for one week over the 4th of July. It was immaculate and had every tool to make this home extremely comfortable. It was within 2 blocks to PCH and a couple of blocks to main street. The home is in an extremely safe area, therefore, we were able to sleep with all the windows open, it was delightful. I would HIGHLY recommend this property.

Best Location, Awesome customer service

We have made a tradition of renting this house over the holiday weekend the past 3 years and intend to go back time and again. The location can't be beat, one block from main street, one block from the beach. House is well appointed with 4 solid bedrooms. Garage can fit 2 SUVs and ally has room for a car behind the garage. We had 3 couples with 3 toddlers that had a great time and had more than enough room. Customer service was great and made sure our weekend went smoothly and were responsive to a mistake I made and corrected it immediately. Thanks again!

Perfect location, great house! We will be back!!

We are from Huntington Beach and now live out of state. We come home every summer and enjoy staying close to the beach. This house was perfect for my family of 7! First off the location could not be better! A short walk to the ocean, the pier, Main Street, great coffee spots, terrific restaurants, everything we needed. Our teenagers loved it because their friends would come to visit and they would just head straight to Main Street or the beach. Our pre-teens loved it because we allowed them to walk to various places on their own too. It was safe and we knew they were still really close by. The house itself was also perfect for my family. We were not crowded at all. Everyone had their own space, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, it contained all the comforts and basic needs of home. It had a nice patio that we enjoyed most nights. There were also multiple small balconies that the kids enjoyed as well. Huntington Beach is a great town to hang out and spend time. Low key, relaxed. Enjoy a day at the beach, shop, eat and drink on Main Street. Head over to the new Pacific City for some higher end dining, more shopping and great views! Be sure to head to Main Street for the Street Fair in Tuesday night, or to the Pierside Pavilion for the Farmers Market on Fridays. The Tuesday night event is part farmers market, part art/craft fair with kids activities, live music and more! Friday at the pier is more craft fair, but has some produce as well. We will definitely be back to Huntington and when we come back we plan to stay at this great place on 7th again!
