This is an adorable place to stay, very clean and well appointed. My family of 3 adults had plenty of room to cook, enjoy our meals, watch a movie, and relax while visiting my daughter at college.

The cabin is clean, cozy and well equipped. The setting is beautiful as it is on the lake. The yard was perfect as we enjoyed walking down to the water with our dog. The owners provided a paw wash station as well as doggie towels and clean up items. The beds are very comfortable too. Designated parking is appreciated as well. Communication by the owners is outstanding as is the simple check in (walk in) process. Everything you need for a relaxing, restful stay.

The hosts were great and very responsive. The lake is beautiful. We thought the cabin would be a bit more on its own. But the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Driveway is a bit steep, but lovely place. Steps away from the lake and a nice backyard. Cabin is Very clean and well stocked. Would recommend.

The pics do not do this property justice. It is absolutely adorable. We had a couple of small hiccups, but the owners were super responsive. It was nothing that would make me take away a star! Our only complaint is that we live 3.5 hours away and wont be able to come back as often as we'd like to. We got some great local tips from the owner and really enjoyed the farmers market in Potsdam. We love the wine at Bregg Winery in nearby Norfolk. We had a fabulous anniversary dinner at The Lobster House around the corner.This area is so serene and peaceful. Everywhere we went, we were treated like old friends. Sadly the weather wasn't super cooperative with hiking and getting out on the lake until today. However, we are very grateful that the owners are allowing a late checkout so we can enjoy the sun that finally decided to show up! All in all in was a great way to celebrate our 10th anniversary and was a much needed relaxing getaway!

Most beautiful property on the lake!

The pictures of this property and cabin do not do it justice. We got there and immediately it felt like a home away from home. It’s a great spot to fish off the dock, or you can hang in the screened in cabana. We will absolutely be back!

Driveway a big issue No lighting after dark going into the house

The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean inside. When you look at the pictures, they’re very deceiving.

Family stay near Clarkson University

Fantastic Place

Fantastic property and the owners are welcoming and laid back. My Son and I had a great time. Conor (6 years old) caught a fish and was able to swim in the lake with his dog. We played catch, did smores around the camp fire, etc. The property is as listed - updated, maintained, and fully stocked with everything you need. We have been going to a different place every year, but we may have found our permanent vacation spot.

Lovely cabin and setting

Weekend getaway

My best friend and I booked a stay here for a weekend and had so much fun! Right on the water, provided kayaks, canoes and more. Very clean. Would definitively recommend to anyone!

Perfect in Every Way

Lovely cabin right on the a Raquett River. Right up the road from a little market and around the corner from a convenience store. 1.5 miles from the Lobster House where we had a great meal and wonderful service. Their extensive menu had something for everyone. 10 minutes from Potsdam so it was a perfect location for seeing our sons. Nice porch for relaxing and enjoying the view of the water, comfortable living room with plenty of space and extremely comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay!

We are frequesnt VRBO guests. This location was a perfect and much needed getaway. Beautiful cabin, spotlessly clean, well stocked with everything you need and more. The yard led right to the water and our dog loved all the room.and made friends with the owners puppy. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful gazebo on the lake, great firepit and the view from the deck was so relaxing. The hosts were so friendly and accomidating which made our stay even more pleasurable. We would go back in a minute. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
