Located in a quiet, peaceful location, you are sure to enjoy the widespread beaches without the feeling of being overcrowded! From the moment the sun rises over the Blue Atlantic until the time it sets, your days will be filled with serenity, fun & relaxation. Catch your dinner from the Ocean Surf just outside the back door or from the Pier just a few blocks away! There is a fish cleaning station available at the home for your convenience. At night you can kick back in the Hot Tub, watch a movie on the 65" TV in the Great Room or challenge your friends to game on the arcade system and X-Box in the Game Room.

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful week with family at the house. We enjoyed daily walks along the beach, as well day trips to other locations. In the evenings we assembled several of the provided jigsaw puzzles and played with the provided Xbox. Two of our group members could also work remotely while staying at the house.

The location can't be beat - it feels VERY secluded with how it's situated on the lot / lack of neighbors to the south but is close to restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. Best of both worlds! The home itself is adorable, clean, well maintained, cozy and comfy (and not the real estate version of 'cozy' meaning small!) The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies / dishwater / etc. Beach just outside the doors is beautiful, clean, and tons of treasures to hunt for at low tide. Game room is stocked with tons of board games (great entertainment while Idalia was blowing her way through!)Speaking of Idalia - being a group of people from the desert - tropical storms/hurricanes are not something we know anything about other than watching the news from across the country! Beach Realty was absolutely amazing at providing updates and calmed our nerves when I called to ask if we should be prepping more / needing a "what are the locals doing?" perspective. While Idalia wasn't that big of a storm (it was for us LOL) I'm confidant that in a potentially serious storm/ situation, they will step up to that plate without issue. Would happily stay again (and again...and again!)

Cozy, Great Location, Needs Some Work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't beat the location of Aqua Dreams. The house was clean when we arrived and the beds were all made. The house needs some TLC though. There is water damage on the walls and floors, which caused extreme soft spots on the floor throughout the house. The deck is old and needs replacing, make sure you have something on your feet to prevent splinters. The fridge is small and the ice maker does not work. The kitchen island is sticky and gross, and definitely needs to be refinished. The dining table is huge and has huge chairs to go with it, which takes up a large amount of the living space. The bedrooms were nice and comfy, the hot tub was great, and again - you can't beat the distance to the beach.

Aqua Dreams Oct. 2 - Oct. 9, 2021

Reviewer Comments: Aqua Dreams is in an outstanding location, near Milepost 20, Oceanfront. It's a little tricky to find the driveway, initially, but what a great spot. The beach opposite the property is wider than at many locations in Nags Head, with a gentle slope that provides easy access to the water. It's perfect.In addition to location, the property has a lot going for it: an excellent kitchen with good appliances, a washer and dryer, hot tub, TVs everywhere, wi-fi and (importantly) three excellent showers with plenty of hot water. The beds are comfortable. The linen package is well worth the extra charge. The deck furniture is outstanding. Dishes and utensils are plentiful and varied (very much so), and of excellent quality. Furniture is substantial and comfortable. The view from either deck (but especially the upper deck) is outstanding.We note a few inconveniences: the front door keypad worked only occasionally. I got locked out on our first day, before recognizing the issue. We called in a work order, immediately, but no action was taken during our week to rectify the issue. We used the emergency key to avoid getting locked out. The propane grille was filthy and we wouldn't touch it. The ice maker didn't function. The butcher block counter was sticky, as if someone used vegetable oil on it. It needs to be stripped and refinished. The upstairs was cool but the lower sleeping level was stuffy...not good air flow from the A/C, there. Fortunately, there are ceiling fans to help move some air. On our last evening, high offshore winds ripped some siding off of the south side of the structure. Hopefully, this will be repaired, immediately. Now, having listed the positives and negatives... would we stay there again? Absolutely, yes! The negatives are easily addressed (and I expect them to be), and the positives far outweigh the minor inconveniences we experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend Aqua Dreams and we hope to get b

Great Location - but needs lots of work

Reviewer Comments: Location of property is perfect & layout of house is great, but time has taken toll on property, and lack of attn to detail, maintenance & cleaning left us very disappointed. Floors, walls are all significantly warped & most of windows are all failed. Screens falling off, slider screen to top deck has large hole that someone attempted to patch with basic tape. Deck wood is rotting, uneven, and loose, if someone bumped into it too hard, I fear they would break through. Husband borrowed hammer from local construction crew to fix many exposed nails, so that children didn’t injure themselves in bare feet. Beach chairs that were listed as amenities were stained, rusted, and umbrella was broken, so we purchased new for ourselves. There were 9 bars of gross soap leftover from prior guests in outdoor shower. Many smoke detectors missing or in odd locations (underneath kitchen island shelf, 1 on shelf in entertainment unit??) which can’t be up to code. Overall, house was only ‘top level clean’ and within an hour of arriving, kids’ feet were BLACK – so we purchased mop & cleaner and did it ourselves. The top of wood butcher block has been cleaned with wrong cleaners over years, rendering wood unusable & tacky to touch like flypaper, so we purchased a plastic tablecloth to cover & make island usable. Kitchen pans pitted & teflon chipping off (toxic), left note with pans recommending they be tossed. FR room couches worn, stained and uncomfortable & need to be replaced. If you are inside when someone walked outside on deck you could feel/see the entire house sway, leaving us very concerned about stability of base/stilts on which house rests. Lastly, the overgrowth has taken over and it just looks unkempt – around house, dunes, and on car path leading from culdesac to house. Our SUV was constantly being scratched by bushes on path. This was our first trip to OBX, and we LOVED the area, but wouldn’t return to this

Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay at Aqua Dreams, the house needs some TLC like walls with pealing paint in several places and floors that felt very squishy and the railing to the deck that wasn’t all the way attached. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable and it was really nice to have a fridge with ice machine. If updates were made we would stay here again.

Beautiful location

There is a short patch of driveway that is soft sand with a bit of a hill and some bumps. In case you are worried about the 4wd thing I wanted to let you know we had no problems getting in and out with our Subaru. Where you park is fine, and the main driveway is fine - it’s just a short patch of sand that connects. Would be great if that patch could be evened out a little or paved or something - but it did not interfere with our fun. We had a great stay!

The air conditioning never cooled the bottom level where 2 of the larger bedrooms are. Called service at Beach Realty NC who told me first I had to wait 24 hours for it to fill b k down, then said they would send Air Cond people. They never did. House smelled musty, downstairs tub had to be snaked by repair people for water standing in tub. Fan falling from ceiling in Master. Air conditioner vents clogged with dirt. Lots of previous water damage. Not at all like pictures showed on website. I will never rent from Beach Realty again.

Nice House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to say this is a great house that needs some tlc. It is in a great location. Lots of space.They have it decorated very pretty. It is stocked with blenders, all sizes dishes, bowls , pans, cookie sheets, etc. There are books and games, boogie boards and beach chairs. (The beach stuff is in a shed under the house) There are extra pillows and blankets. The house was clean, the furniture is nice. (The queen bed is really noisy, lol). There is not a dresser in the queen room. Just about everything you need is here. There are not a lot of out lets. So to charge your cell phone, you can't do it by the bed. I like to read my computer in bed, but no outlet close enough to keep it charged. I would say bring a small extension cord. There are cleaning supplies. Brooms, dust pans, a vacuum. There is a tub for washing your feet off out on the deck. A hose by the hot tub too. We saw many different birds, a salt water snapper, puffer fish, skates, dolphins, and a whale. All right in front of the house. That being said, you can tell the weather has taken it's toll. Some of the paneling? is bubbling off the wall. The vent in the bathroom doesn't fit the whole, screws are not all the way in , (we really watched our feet). The tub , if you need one, it doesn't plug. That was not an issue for us. There are multiple fire alarms, but one atlaease one was not together. The things wrong are just mostly cosmetic. It really is a nice house, great decks, lots of sun, great shade when you need it. The real-estate was easy to work with. I did call and tell them about some of the above issues. They seemed to care. Future reviews can reveal if they fixed the issues. I would recommend to a friend, but I would also let them know the quirks.
