Villa Sanibel es un complejo privado y tranquilo frente al golfo de 20 unidades ubicado cerca de todas las comodidades de la isla en West Gulf Drive. Esta comunidad pintoresca ofrece una piscina climatizada, parrillas a gas y tenis, todo ello rodeado de un exuberante paisaje tropical. La unidad 2H es un segundo piso sin ascensor, con techos abovedados y vistas a la piscina desde su lanai privado con mosquitero. Esta espaciosa unidad puede alojar cómodamente hasta 8 personas con un rey en el dormitorio principal, una cama tamaño queen en la habitación y un loft en el tercer piso con 2 camas individuales con nido para un espacio adicional para 4 personas. El propietario ha decorado y modernizado toda la unidad y la ha equipado con 4 televisores de pantalla plana, múltiples reproductores de DVD, equipo de playa y Wi-Fi seguro para su disfrute. We have our favorite condos to rent and this was a first time at Villa Sanibel 2H . The condo was a short walk to the beach and the complex has a beautiful pool . Our unit faced the pool . The complex is small and quiet. The condo itself was very nice and comfortable . A big plus was that in addition to being two bedrooms , there was a loft with two trundle beds . We had three grandchildren with us and the loft made a huge difference. Also the kitchen was well equipped. Living room furniture looked to be new and comfortable . I would certainly recommend this unit to friends and family.

The condo was great, and with the loft for the kids was a great addition. The beach was just beautiful and the shelling was great! Got up at 6 and walked the beach and took some beautiful pictures of the sunrise, and the sunsets were just as picturesque. Brought our bikes and enjoyed the bike trips, and did get to see an alligator while biking. Always love to go to Noah's Ark, found a few treasures. We had a wonderful trip and look forward to our next trip to Sanibel.

Unit 2H needs one key upgrade, the beds in the loft are not of quality for use, one sleeps on springs and we rented the unit because it slept 4 in the loft. We also arrive on Christmas day, and the lock box code did not work and we did not have an emergency number to call in our paperwork on-hand. After spending a frustrating hour, we tried the code of 0000 on the fly and it worked.

Agency was very helpful and responsive; broken sun umbrella was replaced within hours of our call. Neighbors were friendly. Bit far from Pinocchio's ice-cream but close to Island cow and Bailey's general store. We'll be back next year!

The property is starting to get run down. Garbage can by the pool was full for 3-4 days. General maintenance seems lacking. The unit itself was pretty clean. Pots/pans other housewares were a hodgepodge of stuff. Washer smelled very moldy. Location is very nice.

Family Vacation 2019

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a wonderful vacation! This is our 3rd time staying at Villa Sanibel but our first time in this particular condo. It worked fairly well for our family of 8. We had 3 adults and 5 children. The loft is a little tight for 4 kids (it had 2 twins with pull out trundles), especially if you have older children. One of my girls ended up sleeping on the couch to make more room so we only had to pull out one trundle and that helped. The movie selection was good but none of them worked. Nice game selection for the kids and we loved that the patio faced the pool. There was a nice selection of beach toys/chairs. The beach towels provided are very small. I would plan to bring some of your own. If I were to share some recommendations on what would make it better they would be to replace the carpet in the master, provide a laundry basket, replace the movies that do not work and fix the cabinet that the trash can is stored in. (My finger kept getting cut when I opened it until I decided to take the can out of the cabinet). Overall, it was a nice condo with very comfortable furniture downstairs! We had a very memorable stay. Thank you for sharing it with us!On a side note, this is not the homeowners fault but parking is a problem. VERY tight parking spaces and people park right on top of you. (Be careful if you have a rental car) Also, the drive could use some maintenance (filling of potholes). The property management company was excellent and made the check-in/out process very easy!

The beach was right outside the front door. Everything in the unit was great, very clean and homey. Outside closest had plenty of sand toys, and beach chairs, umbrella, even a cooler. The pool view was nice, our kids like the pool after the beach so it was nice that we could watch them from our condo. We visited all of the public beaches, Blind Pass (best shelling) and Captiva Beach were our favorites. Dante's Coal Fired Pizza was really good, highly recommend. We've stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, this one is definitely one I would return to visit again.

This year was especially delightful as 2H was beautifully redecorated and we got to enjoy the all new appliances and furnishings. The updated Wi Fi was useful as well as we were able to stay longer and work from there for our last week. We are excited to return next year.

Perfect location and amenities. Villa Sanibel 2H

4th of July week 2021! The 2nd floor condo was great! Mere steps away from the beach and pool. Sound proofing between units was pretty amazing! Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards beach tools and whatnots all plentiful. The unit feels like it’s been updated a bit here and there. It didn’t feel run down at all. King bed in the master. Queen in bedroom 2. 2 twins up in the loft with trundles under each. Couch may even pull out but neglected to check. This is a family’s dream with plenty of room to spread out! We will 100% consider booking the unit again! The unit’s minor inconveniences: Bed pillows…. They need more and need updated. One flat pillow per person. If in doubt bring you own. Dishwasher is out of order….. minor inconvenience and nothing to dissuade us. Could have used a second bottle of dish soap but we made do. Covid backlog crushing manufacturing and delivery of new appliances…. I totally get it! Clothes dryer door latch broken. Again, minor inconvenience. We pushed a chair up next to the door to keep it shut and it worked fine. AC took a dump on night one. Luckily there’s an oscillating fan in the closet! 4th of July I called Sanibel Holiday, service was there within a couple of hours and fixed a breaker. We were in biz holding 72° the rest of the time. Kudos to the property management team at Sanibel Holiday! Oh… there’s a leak in a window up in the loft we noticed during Hurricane Elsa... I forgot to tell the management team that. (Elsa was a fun experience until the ferocious and constant thunderstorms that came with the tail that kept everyone up all night) A kitchen knife steel would be an awesome addition as most of the knives were pretty dull. We managed though! Complex meh’s: Parking sorta sucks and definitely not the owners fault. 1 tight parking spot per unit, plus a handful of guest parking out near the tennis courts… which are about as far away as the ocean. No bigs! Grills- 2 shared grills for the 3 buildings. Maybe add 1 or 2 more?? A much needed tree trimming during checkout … it’s already tight to get by in the driveway and checkout time is a whirlwind as you need to be out by 10:00a. That sorta sucked with scheduling during that time. All-in-all we had a really great time. Was it perfect? nah…. Was it close? Yup! You gotta roll with the punches. Vacations always have a few minor inconveniences. Step back, take a deep breath. Take it all in! Relax!
