Thanksgiving Getaway with our extra family member (our pet)

This home was cozy and in a perfect location for our Thanksgiving getaway. This stood out as we were allowed to bring our extra family member, our 7 pound maltipoo. The rental company had a sweet Thanksgiving card waiting for us and my rental help fed a family in need. Very touching!

Seaside in October

This house was nice on the inside and well-kept. The outside property was very disappointing. The grass in the enclosed yard was very high the day we arrived. The outdoor furniture in the front yard, as well as around the pool, was very dirty. The pool also had leaves in it, and the water seemed cloudy. I reported this twice and was told someone would take care of the grass and the furniture but no one came. I had my grandson and dog and we were looking forward to playing in the yard, but the grass was way too high.

Less than expected

Managing company very responsive/easy to communicate with. However, the listing photos make this property appear far more upscale. Upon arrival, fruit flies were in the kitchen. Decent beds, but little to no storage for clothing/drawers/pantry. Pink mold in master shower. Made Royal Destinations aware of issues including: inability to open dishwasher (blocked by cracked baseboard), broken lock on main porch door to enter/exit from driveway, & torn screens on porch trapped insects inside. Water-damaged hardwood in kitchen with soft spots & tile disintegrated in laundry area. Have to manually lift washer door to close properly. Active construction next door shot metal piece into side of the home. Do not advise booking during Fall/Spring break due to number of adolescents after hours. Difficult to walk down sidewalk due to number of out of control bicycles. Police attempted to enforce curfew. Watched live police foot pursuit on front sidewalk. Property looks appears serene/beach front on the map, but is a street/crosswalk back. For the price, 3/5.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities the home had to offer. A great and easy access to the beach. Royal Destinations communicated quickly and make the check in/out process easy. A few deferred maintenance items you notice once arriving, photos do not reflect them. The primary suite upstair's mini split system did not seem to cool well. Overall, we had a great experience and would/will rent with Royal Destinations again!

The management staff was easy to work with and provided a great stay! The house is so close to beach access and almost couldn't be any closer. It's very near Seaside and all kind of places to eat and shop within a short walk or bike ride. I would definitely look for this house again and use Royal Destinations.

To help future guests : the Wi-Fi password has to be capitalized, the coffee filters need to be the triangle type not flat bottomed, the batteries in the back bedroom remote need to be changed, someone should clean up the yard before guests arrive-we had to pick up dog poop when we first arrived. Response was good when we emailed with a problem but not good when we called. Also, the front porch was very sandy and dirty. Couldn’t find a broom to clean it off.

Wonderful home!

House was adorable and perfect for our group! We loved the location and proximity to beach access! Beds were comfortable, and lots of fun memories made! We would love to come back :)

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We arrived to trash in the yard, the house was filthy!! The trash can, cook top, dishwasher door..ALL were broke…the overhead fans were coated in dusted, the showers had noticeable mold. Their were bugs in the refrigerator…The slipcovers on the furniture were very dirty! The pool is SMALL…not even a pool. The garden hose just ran in the pool with cold water! Wash machine had mold inside. We had to leave after 2 days and even though Royal Destination’s agreed with everything we showed them they have refused to return our money. We lost 2 days of our vacation and had to rent another house.

Thanksgiving with family and friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great. We were there to share the thanksgiving holiday with our family and some friends staying near by. The location was great and the house was just right for our dog because of the front and back fencing. Couple things to note is the lack of closets in the downstair bedrooms. The house feels a little worn and could use a refresh. It needs a deep clean. The master bedroom was very nice but the shower head didn’t work properly and should be replaced with a regular shower head instead of a hand held. We loved the ease of the house and the location to the beach and seaside was fantastic.

Would give it 6 starts if possible!

If you are looking at this property book it fast! Beautiful fenced in yard, awesome screened porch, just a few steps away form the beach. Conveniently located a few blocks away from the heart of seaside. Don’t be fooled by the square footage, as this home’s layout may the space feels larger and very comfortable. We definitely will be back!

We stayed for multiple weeks and I'm so impressed with the comfort level. Every piece of furniture was comfortable. That seldom happens in vacation rentals. Great location and open space was such a joy.

When we arrived the first thing we noticed is that the screened in porch is in need of paint. In addition, the pool area needs a good pressure wash. So much for the negatives, on the positive side the interior is bright and airy. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Location is perfect. Walking distance to Seagrove Market and Seaside. The fenced in front and back yards were a great plus for our two dogs. The management team was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had.
