Good time

We had a good time at this property. Property owner was very accessible, there was a lot of room, the grounds made it fun for the kids and it’s close to everything we wanted to do

Accommodating host, Great for large groups

Enjoyed the top floor of the property, kids LOVED the pond - it was their go to place. Lots of room for our large group along with some separate sitting areas for more privacy. The hosts, who live below were gracious.

Great location

Owner lives below, but very kind and helpful. Any concerns we had he quickly addressed, and offered suggestions to local activities. Great pond with ducks and babies that he brought out for kids to see. Roomy and great for large groups or families.

Family Getaway

Thank you for a great weekend. We truly enjoyed the space you provided for our family of 18 to get away from the busy city. The kids especial enjoyed the pool table and playing hide and seek on the rainy day we had. The space was just what we needed.

Awesome Bachelor Party Spot

The property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill for around 20 guys for a weekend. Tons of outdoor space for yard games along with the pond for fishing. Dave was extremely helpful and attentive. It was also a very easy location to get to golf and bars in grand haven. We didn’t realize ahead of time that Dave lives on the lower level of the house but he is very nice and laid back and it was in no way an issue.

Excellent Stay

The house was very clean with a good number of beds. The outside deck was fully equipped with plenty of seating and a few grills. This house is great for a big party of people. The host is very nice, helpful, and accommodating. I plan to use this house for future trips.

Great location, great space inside and out

Our family group of 24 (13 children & 11 adults) had plenty of space to spread out inside and outside. We ate most meals outside on the deck, over-looking a peaceful, private, and scenic backyard. Our grandkids enjoyed fishing and getting canoe rides in the small backyard pond. There were multiple grills available including a smoker and outdoor griddle. The host/owner Dave lives onsite and was very responsive and helpful. Upon leaving we suggested that some of the mattresses (and most pillows) be replaced and he thanked us for the feedback and asked for recommendations on ordering new ones. Adults may want to bring their own pillows in the meantime. The location is great - only a 5 minute drive from Hoffmaster State Park. Lots of convenient shopping nearby as well. Keep in mind that while Dave charges a relatively low cleaning fee, more cleaning is expected of renters, including remaking all beds that were used. Need to allow time to take care of this before checking out. Over-all, a great rental experience, especially with a very helpful host on site.

Overall we enjoyed the property. The manager/owner lives on premises. The owner(Dave) was extremely helpful and courteous. We would go back to property.

Family reunion

Great venue for large group with active kids. We loved escaping to the lounge in the back part of the house to have a brief break from loud kids. Kids loved the pond. PJHoffmaster was 5 minutes away. Everybody said the mattresses need to be replaced; they were very soft with little support. It was very clean.

Property manager was very helpful, and property lived up to the pictures!!

We had 15 people here for a bachelor party and couldn't have asked for a better place. We played golf and fished. The back yard was perfect for fires and yard games. Homeowner was very helpful for recommendations and made sure our stay was a success!
