Esta encantadora casa de tres dormitorios y dos baños con vista al mar está ubicada en el área de Road's End de Lincoln City, a solo una cuadra de fácil acceso a la playa. The best part about this property is location to beach!!! But it is dated, the yard is not secure enough for a small dog, several light bulbs out, downstairs bathroom fan comes on when you turn the light on and it sounds like a big tractor coming through.The lockbox was hard to find, I have rented a lot and they have always been on the door, this one is on the deck railing and blended in.

Great location

The house is in a great location. It's has convenient beach access about a block away, and close enough to get anywhere easily, but tucked away from the busy part of town, so it's quiet. The house is a bit outdated, but is pretty comfortable overall.

Wife’s Birthday

Great property for our family of four. More people could have stayed given the space downstairs. Great layout and plenty of room. The deck is super spacious and although you’re a block off the beach you can hear the ocean from the bedrooms at night!

The house was filthy. The carpet was stained and when we arrived it felt wet. The window tracks were all black. (Supposed to be white) the grout in the upstairs shower was black with mold. The stove in the kitchen was difficult to use as the large burners didn't work well. They wouldn't heat up. It was difficult to make a meal with the stove that way. No can opener. No response from management co. about were one might be. Cobwebs around light fixture in upstairs bathroom. An old dirty hair tie on the side of the dresser. Broken lamp shade in bedroom. The pipe going up from the wood stove was rusted through. No chance of safely having a fire. The outside garbage can was full upon arrival. Very unkempt yard. Weeds everywhere. Not fully fenced for a dog. The game closet was a total wreck. Missing pieces to games. No crayons for the color books. I have stayed in much nicer places for this price point. This house was substandard and way overpriced for the condition.

Thank you for the review. I'm sincerely sorry that several maintenance and cleanliness items interrupted your vacation. We completed a carpet clean and a full landscaping clean up. We will have the housekeeping team deep clean the grout, window tracks and light fixtures. The maintenance team is repairing the stove and did inspect the wood stove pipe. It does not have any holes and is perfectly safe, but we do plan to clean it and paint it. We also plan to reorganize the game closet and throw away whatever games are not complete. You had every right to expect a smooth stay and I'm sorry that we did not deliver that. We are using your feedback to make immediate improvements.

The house was okay. The location was great, and there was plenty of room. However, the house had an odor of old mustiness, as if it had once been a smoker's residence. The blinds were broken and made the place look ghetto. The fenced backyard wasn't fully fenced; we had to slide a splintery piece of old plywood across the deck stairs to keep our dogs safely in the yard. The TV in the living room didn't work, and the wifi was very sketchy. The toilet downstairs barely flushed; use at your own risk.

Nice find

The home was very clean and comfortable. The big deck was nice for relaxing out doors. The back yard was fenced in so that was great for our pup. Lawn in back was a bit overgrown. Overall a great place.

Awesom view

Great location and view. A couple of issues we had, 2 of 3 Lights in livingroom did not work. Third was so dirty it put off very little light. Dishwasher was broken but we made due. Will definitely consider staying here again. Price was reasonable and the visitors (deer) were awesome to see each day. Also had a fenced backyard, making it nice for the pups.

Could use some updates and thorough cleaning (under kitchen stove), washer is rusted and needs replaced, kitchen sink faucet spicket needs replaced, carpets could use a shampoo, mattresses on twin beds are needing replaced, one bed is not level and hard to sleep on, pillows are old, toilet downstairs drains slow. Garbage was full upon check in, we did our best to make the trash fit. Having a broken lamp outside by the trash - should have been disposed off prior to our arrival. The house is in a great location, friendly “neighbors” would consider staying here again.

Not enough coffee and sugar was provided for the guests - only 3 coffee pods vs required 8-16, no sugar for 2 nights stay of 4 adults. Despite requesting to customer care, it never came. Everything else was great.

The beach was a perfect Oregon beach, lovely views, chilly and uncrowded--the perfect get-away from a very hot Arizona summer! Walking around the north end of the beach point at low-tide was spectacular. Loved seeing a mother deer and fawns wandering through the neighborhood. One of our teens is not a beach guy, so I called before renting to make sure there actually was a working foosball game as listed and was reassured there was. When we got there, there was a foosball, but no pucks. There were a couple drink coasters stuck in the goals. There was a dartboard, but no darts. I called the manager and was told she would check it out with the owner and call back to let me know if there were pucks somewhere and if there were any darts at the place. She never got back to me. The house was clean, we had brought some board games with us. The living room is a nice room to hang out in, play games and you can see the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.

Great Location With Ocean View

I'll start off with a note to those who are looking for a luxurious place to spend a vacation indoors while allowing your dog to stay in the backyard - this isn't that place as it is a bit low on luxury and the yard would be an easy escape for even an average IQ dog. There are some facets of the house which could use some updates. But for our needs, however, it was perfect. We visited Lincoln City for the location on the coast as we wanted to drive north to Tillamook one day and down to Newport the next. We also spent time on the beach which is essentially just block down the road...and we enjoyed the view and sounds of the ocean from the spacious front deck. The master bedroom was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely appointed. We didn't use the lower level much (just the washer and dryer after getting soaked in a flash storm when we were about a mile down the beach) but as other reviewers commented, there was a bit of a musty smell downstairs. This property is close to everything we needed in Lincoln City and an easy drive to some of our favorite sites along the coast. We'd stay here again.

Terrible Stay

Unfortunately, this house is untenable. The basement has a terrible smell, the dryer is not working and the entire place is dirty. Our whole family is shocked by the condition, considering the $1700 price tag. I had some concerns about the listing but when I saw it was a Meredith properties listing I expected it to be nice. Our many previous experiences with Meredith have been nothing but amazing over the last 15 years. Meredith roper ties did offer to re-house us after I complained but in a home that was far from our friends. We were there to spend time with them so we chose to stay in the filth instead and they refunded us 1/2 of one nights stay. We were extremely disappointed all around and recommended to Meredith they remove this property from their management.

Hi Jennifer. We enjoyed hosting you, but we are so sorry that there were issues with your stay. We are always striving to provide our guests with an excellent rental experience, and worked to try to find you an alternative property, as well as issued you a partial refund. We know this cannot make up for your disappointment, but we do hope we have the opportunity to host you again in another home in the future.
