Overall, good place to stay!We arrived at night and it was hard for us to find, as it was very dark and the door number was hard to see. Parking was VERY tight especially since we rented a midsized SUV. Our spot was next to an angle parking spot, our spot wasn't angled, and a resident (?) has a huge Escalade that was parked in the angle parking spot the entire time we were there. It was much easier for us to pull in to the 2-hour/ visitor parking spot and just use that one. I was very happy the visitor spot was open all the time because it would have been impossible to park next to the Escalade.Very easy to access the beach, crosswalk was right there. We were provided with plenty of towels and a few beach chairs. It would have been really nice to have an umbrella too because there was not much shade on the beach. Also, the pool lights never came on and the pool was supposed to be available until 9:00 p.m., so we weren't able to utilize that advertised amenity after getting back to the condo after long days out exploring, so we were bummed about that.The bathroom has a deep jetted tub but the jets don't work. I would have also liked more comfortable seating, the swivel chair is quite old, and an AC in the other bedroom wouldn't been good. We used a fan to blow the AC from the living room into that bedroom but that bedroom was very warm most of the time.Quiet building, great location, lots of shops and restaurants, and we'd return.Kathy was very responsive and friendly!

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Highly recommend for family with kiddos. They were in the pool constantly and it was perfect.

Potential space

We have rented several times in Maui. Location is awesome, right across from a great beach area with few people. Convenient location to all directions of the island. Check in easy and timelyManager was quick to reply to my question prior to trip.Pool is small but cute. Great because it was very private with few people. Wonderful if you have small children.The condo is a nice size for us , 4 adults.Not our first time we understand that lizards and other small friends can be normal so that was not an issue for us. Sadly the condo cleaning was not great. Floors , counters, bathrooms seemed to have a quick trash dump and move on.Furniture was not kept clean, and looked old.Be aware the stairs are very dark, watch your steps.We did absolutely love being in a smaller unit than the brick multi unit buildings. This could be an amazing space with a little love.

Great location. Not clean but would stay again

The walls had a lot of stuff marks. The toilet had been cleaned on the outside, but maybe not on the inside. Bedding is poor quality and I'm not sure the last time the coverlet/blanket was washed. The beds were also not comfortable. All that said, we would stay here again. It was a good size for two couples with a quiet pool and a nice beach right across the street. South Kihei road is busy, but the condo is not right in main Kihei so there is no noise to keep you up at night, and it is very easy to get anywhere. The host was very easy to talk to. She was friendly and prompt. It would have been nice if she provided a lot of things included in the condo, but I knew enough from other reviews that I didn't bother asking. There was a small propane tank but no grill. There are four beach chairs and one boogie board. There was also a small cooler and two flippers (one broken and no mask/snorkel). We left another pair of flippers. There were a few spices provided, and previous guests had left more spices, condiments, bread, eggs and bacon. That was appreciated since we got in very late and stores weren't open to get anything for the morning.

Family on a budget.

Easy to find location. Great directions given by property management. Parking area is somewhat tight but do able. Small outdoor pool was enjoyed by the kids. Appreciated having some old lawn chairs to use. Kids enjoyed the boogie board that was there to use. All kitchen appliances and utensils that were needed were available. Appreciated the few steps away from the beach on days we didn’t want to drive anywheres. Quiet condo complex. A/c units good. Seafood restaurant next door - Isana. Overall great location for travellers on a budget that don’t need all the fancy stuff.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for beaches and seeing the island. The condo was quiet and spacious. We loved that the host had snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach towels (and an umbrella) to use while there. It didn’t have air conditioning, but the condo got a great breeze with the windows open, and we didn’t need AC. Although the pool is not heated, it was also warm and nice. Our kids spent at least an hour swim every day. The condo also had walking access to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and spices, which made it easy to cook some meals at home. The beds were comfortable. I really only have positive things to say about this place! The hosts put a lot of thought into making sure it was stocked with everything you could need, and we really felt like we were at home there. It looks like it’s been recently renovated with nice flooring and updated countertops in the kitchen. It was helpful to have drying racks and a washer/ dryer there. I highly recommend this condo. If we take another trip to The Big Island, I would absolutely want to stay here again!!

The condo is great! Perfect location. Kitchen had everything that we needed, beds were comfortable, and the beach supplies were an added bonus! Kathy was very responsive and professional. Would absolutely stay here again!

Cute and close to beach

My husband ,Mother in law 2kids (15&8) and myself stayed in this cute condo it was perfect to watch the sun set and rise! The condo was clean and has pots pans dishes so we made dinners at the condo.The beach is across the street so we walked over every evening.I totally will tell friends and family about the condo and recommend it the couch is comfy( it is a little out dated as people put in the reviews) but it isnt ripped or dirty and the sleeper sofa was comfy!

First trip to Hawaii

We had a nice stay. Pool and property were kept nice. Clean, just some hand and foot marks on walls of bedroom that were missed. The jet tub could use some scrubbing. Would not reccomend using as a bath tub, only shower. Useful items were available to us, pool toys, etc. The one bedroom has only a fan. I feel it would be beneficail to have a portable A/C if possible. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet area

Conveniently located in a nice quiet spot of Kihei away from the more busier areas.The kitchen had everything we need for us to make breakfast before heading out for the day and dinner at night. Having 2 bathrooms was great. The neighbors were all respectful of each of each other. Check in process was a breeze. Internet speed was ok for regular surfing. Only 1 bedroom has an air conditioner but it wasnt working properly when we got there. Apparently the caretaker was already notified by the previous guest and they wanted to send someone to fix it however we were out on that day and didnt want to come back just to leave the keys for the repair man to get in. The next day or so i left the keys in the lockbox but no one came until the 3rd day when they told me that a repairman came but couldnt get in because i left the wrong key in the lockbox. Turns out i left the pool key which no one told me that there is a pool key or a sperate pool key. My bad i guess but after that i still kept the door keys in the lockbox everytime and never was the repair man came until we checked out so i dont know if that air conditioner has been fixed? The other thing I wish could have been done by the owner is to upgrade the TVs to a smart TV because the tvs were outdated and you van barely watch anything on the cable channels. It is a cheap ugrade that makes a lot of difference to the your guests experience. Other than that i think we enjoyed our stay overall and would probably consider going back

Great location on Maui

The condo came with all amenities as expected. The manager was responsive for a maintenance request. We had plenty of space for our group of 3 people. There are pleasant views from the patio of surrounding condos, pools, and a small view of the ocean.
