Nuestra increíblemente limpio, completamente remodelado y amueblado / 1 baño casa 1 dormitorio se encuentra en el lado oeste de Colorado Springs. Nuestra propiedad es su propia casa (no es una casa de huéspedes o apartamento). Aparcamiento en la calle y la entrada. Siéntese y relájese en nuestro patio ajardinado recientemente para incluir patio, iluminación de bajo voltaje, parrilla al aire libre y patio totalmente cercado. Detectores de humo y detectores de monóxido de carbono están cableados para su seguridad. Nuestra casa es de fácil acceso y sólo 3 cuadras al sur de la carretera 24 y 3 millas al oeste de la I-25.
Convenientemente situado cerca del centro de Colorado Springs, 6 cuadras al sur del "corazón" de la Ciudad Vieja de Colorado y sólo 2 millas de Manitou Springs. Estamos justo enfrente de la calle del parque Bott. Menos de 1 milla de distancia se encuentran las tiendas de comestibles, una farmacia, de gas, tiendas y varios restaurantes.

OK property: Positives: Large, clean property; great kitchen and required utensils, pots, pans, etc.; great yard for dog; OK parking area; easy access to CS tourist sites; neighborhood is quiet. Negatives: Two flights of stairs; privacy issue: glass/plexiglass panels in front door; no lock strike for security deadbolt; door frame shows evidence of possible, earlier, break-in; improperly framed door; frustrating clothes dryer: no simple on/off option; wasp nest in outside grill; TV service is a hodgepodge of offerings: Live TV is not really live, for the most part: This system is, unfortunately, the choice of hotels and STS properties, more and more, these days.

Perfect couples spot

Perfect couples spot! My girlfriend and I had an amazing week at this location! I'm not from the area but my girlfriend is and this was the perfect spot to do so many things around Colorado Springs. She showed me so much and we just loved coming home from the end of the long day and relaxing in what we ended up wishing was our real home to spend our lives together. Cozy home, quiet neighborhood. You really couldn't ask for much more! Will definitely be on the lookout to book this place whenever I can plan another trip. Thank you so much!!

Its a great little place. Private, quiet and not too far from shops and what not. There are stables near by that sometimes you can smell if you're standing in the yard. Not a strong smell, I found it comforting in a way but I like horses. I would stay there again. The dog liked it, too.

Perfect Location

The biggest pro here is location. Walking distance to Old Colorado Town with great food and shopping. Seven minutes to Garden of the Gods. Short drives to Cripple Creek, Royal Gorge, etc. I recommend for sure if visiting the area.

Needs Updating

The property is in a fabulous location close to Old Colorado City downtown and Manitou Springs. The bed was very old and was not a bed that I’d sleep in again. You felt every single time when one of us rolled over. The interior furnishings were not updated but it was fine. The patio table was nice but the chairs near the front door needed updating. The couch and chair were fine, but they were well loved. All in all, the property needed someone to refresh the major furnishings to keep it in high demand.

Cute little spot near old Colorado city.

The place was clean and cute. The road was a bit busy and loud at times with commercial trucks but that was only during day time. Yard was great for our dogs too. Would stay again.

Colorado Springs Summer Trip

Great stay in a wonderful location that is close to shops and plenty of things to do for all! Loved the house and the amenities. I appreciated the air con since we came in July. Carol was wonderful to work with and super responsive. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect little getaway

In a nutshell, you get what exactly you see on here and that is a very good thing. We took our two French Bulldogs and they absolutely loved the place. We've stayed at other places where the grass wasn't kept up with or there was no grass at all. Our babies need something green to use the bathroom on, the fenced astroturf yard was perfect for them. Botts Park is also right across the street, it's a huge park for your dogs to play in. The house was wonderful, it has central air/heat which made those warm afternoons quite cozy with the A/C. The living room was very comfortable and made us feel right at home. If we return again with just the two of us, we will definitely make sure to try and get this home. The owners were very responsive, we did have an issue with the washing machine and within an hour, we had someone at the house to tend to it. You couldn't ask for better hosts. The overall experience here was an A+.

Working Getaway

Great location. My husband and I had our 2 dachshunds with us and this place worked out just great. The yard is fenced. The turf got a little hot for their paws, but the fence was a definite plus and we spent plenty of time out there. It was just enough space for 2 adults and 2 pups. The grill was a plus after purchasing brats at the German deli just down the st. There is a park across the street. There is a 25acre dog park less than 2 miles away. Colorado Ave is about .5mile walk and is full of restaurants and shops and another park where we found a farmer’s market on Saturday. Neighborhood was quiet in the morning. There is a somewhat busy bike route that runs past the house but the street was not that busy. I’d recommend this home for sure.

Perfect for 2!!

This was an amazing place to stay. Close to so many attractions and easy to get to. Fenced in yard is great to let the pups run and us sit and watch them. Highly recommend!!

Colorado Springs outdoor fun

Great Basecamp for hiking and exploring the lovely Old Town of Colorado Springs. Walk to the amazing German Bakery a few blocks away and enjoy the park across the street. We enjoyed it with our two pups immensely. Busy road which can be a bit loud at times and the only bathroom being upstairs were the only negatives. We would stay there again.

Perfect location, very cute house

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring the area. The location was awesome, super close to Manitou and Old Town Colorado Springs. The house itself was quaint and charming. We loved grilling dinner at night. It is a perfect location as a base to explore the area.

Perfect home for our vacation get away

The house was perfect and met all our needs. The kitchen was fully equipped for the times we wanted to cook and eat in. Our fur babies loved the backyard, we sat frequently on the patio, and the park across the street. For individuals that crate there dog(s) when you’re away, the laundry room is substantial enough (and out of the way) to set up a large crate. It was a perfect week stay to completely unplug from work, emails etc. thank you.

Nice little house

It was clean and had all the essentials we needed. It’s very close to Old Colorado City but far enough away it’s quiet. My only dislike was the bed was not comfortable to me but some like a firm bed...They allow pets which is great and it was a nice stay overall. Owners seemed friendly when we communicated via messages.

Perfect Place in Perfect Location

If you love all of what Colorado Springs has to offer - this is the perfect place to stay. We love to travel with our dogs and with a fenced in yard and a large park across from the house we had a perfect getaway! The location is in between Garden of the gods, Red Rock Canyon, 4 blocks from old town and on the other side the Broodmore hotel, Mt. Helen Hunt falls, Golden road - and so much more! We would love to come back and stay soon! Thank you - Paige and Andy!!

Florida Summer Relief 2019

I was absolutely thrilled to find this cute little home in Old Colorado City! I wanted a place to escape the Florida heat & this place was perfect. It was exactly as described on VRBO & had everything I needed for my stay. Carol thought of everything! She even provided an air mattress for me when my daughters came to visit. I loved being able to walk to Red Rock Canyon every day & hike as much as I wanted. Fun shops & dining within walking distance. Also just a short drive to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, & downtown Colorado Springs. Would definitely recommend renting from Carol (she has other properties available) as she was very easy to work with & made me feel right at home during my stay! I hated to leave!

very comfortable and spacious home off the high traffic of Old CO City

Carol's home is in a quiet section of old CO City on the south side of US 24, which relieves much of the traffic through old town. It is a short 1/2 mile walk to Red Rocks open space with miles of hiking, and perfectly situated to access the Manitou and CO Springs area and outdoor activities. The house is spacious and lacks for nothing. 26th St has moderate traffic so sitting in the grassy east side lawn along the road is pleasant for cooling off in the evening.

Just like home!

We've stayed at this property 4 times. Each time we return, it feels just like home. It's a snug little house with a great fenced yard--perfect for our grandsons to kick the soccer ball, throw the football and play hide and seek!

This is a cute & well appointed house in a convenient location. Close to Garden of the Gods, the shops & restaurants in Old CO City & Manitou Springs. Bott Park is right across the street with playground equipment & is a good dog walking park. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

The house was very tidy and clean! I loved being so close to Garden of the Gods, Old Town Colorado, Cliff Dwellings, and Red Rock Canyon. Carol was very easy going and agreed to let me switch dates due to an emergency that came up. She was also willing to let me stay an extra day if needed due to weather. Overall, it was great! Super dog friendly house and yard. House included one package of coffee, creamer (dry, not liquid), sugar and hot chocolate, along with salt and pepper. Also, washer/dryer (with laundry detergent), dish soap, pots, pans, utensils, towels, and travel sized toiletries. She even included a toothbrush in case you forgot one! I’d stay there again!

I am a native of Colorado Springs and my husband had lived here a majority of his life. The West Side of Colorado Springs has been our home for 26 years and we will never leave! The lifestyle is so easy going with a lot of charm, character and history.

Our home is located in a great neighborhood that is well established and consists of other home owners. We actually purchased this home as a second vacation rental. We have enjoyed meeting so many nice people and love being able to provide a home for guests coming to Colorado Springs.

Enjoy our home as you would your own. Situated in a historic neighborhood with mature trees and landscape. Located across the street for the neighborhood park-bott park. The recreation area of the park features tennis and basketball courts, playground and a picnic shelter. Didn't bring your rackets or basketball--we provide them for you.
