Cabaña Billa Bush - Point Lookout, QLD

Billa Bush Cottage es una casa de la isla recientemente renovada (noviembre de 2018) que ha conservado su hermoso encanto y cualidades originales, pero ha sido llevada al mundo moderno con un hermoso baño moderno de 'cuarto húmedo' y una hermosa cocina.

La casa cuenta con pisos de madera pulida y una gran cocina abierta con microondas, estufa de gas y cafetera Nespresso (traiga sus propias vainas). La terraza con barbacoa de gas y zona de comedor dan a los matorrales nativos. También hay un mini altavoz Bluetooth para escuchar tus canciones favoritas.

Las habitaciones (ambas camas King size) tienen aire acondicionado, pero una vez que las ventanas están abiertas, la brisa comienza a fluir a través de la casa.

Billa Street es conocida por su proximidad al corazón de Point Lookout y está a poca distancia de todas las tiendas y playas.

Tenga en cuenta que esta es una casa de campo "sin pantalla", pero es un paseo muy fácil al Straddie Pub para ver cualquier evento especial en su pantalla grande.

We had a very comfortable stay. The house had everything we needed to be able to cook at home. It’s a bit of a walk into the main part of town so we were glad to have a car.

We had an incredible stay.The house is beautifully set among Straddie’s stunning bushland and wildlife, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The management team was fantastic—professional, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. Everything about our experience was seamless, from the home itself to the outstanding service. Straddie never disappoints, and this trip was no exception. We highly recommend the property.

Lovely spot

A lovely house - open, bright and breezy. Managed to cook for 8 people comfortably. On issue was the oven not working. Overall, a great place.

However in the middle of June when we were there it was very cold and unpleasant. The sun does not get down in the ravine where it is situated at all. It is almost colder in the house than outside. Not enough blankets to be warm at night.

I was even more impressed with the property in person vs the photos. A short walk to cylinder beach and the local pub for a drink (and they have a bottle shop too). Lots of basic items provided like salt and pepper.Something to consider if taking little kids is that the curtains are completely sheer.

Beautiful renovated beach house close to Cylinder Beach

Property was well maintained and beautifully renovated. Good supply of games and books. Close to Cylinder beach, but a fair walk to Point Lookout restaurants. Remember to bring shampoo and a hairdryer.

Poor advice re pantry.. we’re told no salt & pepper ,cleaning dishwasher stuff etc. sorry , better pantry than st my home. I suspect this a generic setup but needs to be updated for each rental as we filled a box with totally superfluous stuff that was already there. I realise this is more work for you but real basics like s & p sugar washing up stuff should be mandatory for owners. A few minor problems that we sorted due to non information but looking about sorted them. Loved arriving on s hot & sticky day to find aircon & fans going. Nice touch.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house to stay in. Short walk to the beach and bus stops which then take you into the main townships. Would recommend an island pass if staying for more than 5 days. Was all very clean and had everything you would need for a week or more stay. At the end of a very quiet street and surround by trees. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!
