We loved staying at Alligator House! The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! The home was wonderful with children as there was a pool, and it was very close to the beach. We could also take a quick walk on the beach to the nearby resorts for meals which was a nice surprise! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great house and amazing hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alligator house. The house itself is very sweet and in the Bahamian sheik theme. Perfect layout for 4 adult couples. Short walk to the beach. Would stay again!

Four generation family trip

The home and it’s location are outstanding. The pink sand beach, a 2 minute walk down the path, is the prettiest beach we have ever seen. The home is well staffed.

Loved the location and island!

Wonderful and unique house on a beautiful island. We loved our stay. The negative would be the mosquitos but not sure how you avoid that. Thank you for opening your lovely home. We hope to return!

We’re glad you enjoyed the house and island! Sorry about the mosquitoes, there are almost none in winter, though the sea is a bit colder of course.

Amazing Family Thanksgiving trip!

We loved our stay at Alligator House. It was a wonderful location. The house was beautiful and comfortable with very easy beach access via private path from the house. Irma took care of our every need and was very accessible if anything came up. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Hi Molly, many thanks for your kind review. Please let me know if you have any pointers for improvements (apart from the AC!). We are looking at making the large screen easy to use and getting new TVs for the bedrooms that will also be easier to use. Kind regards, Anette

Perfect vacation house

This house is absolutely incredible!! The location is beautiful overlooking the most gorgeous pink sand beach. The house itself is so well laid out with plenty of space for everyone to have their own space as well as large and beautiful common space to be together. This was my fifth time visiting Harbour Island and this is my favorite house by far!!

Great location, everything you would need on the island

We had so much fun staying here as a group! Everyone had their own separate space, air conditioning, and a great kitchen and living space. The pool was wonderful but the walk to the beach and how private it felt really made it special. Irma and George really made it easy and feel a step above a typical VRBO experience. We would definitely come here again! Thanks!

We had a wonderful week at the Alligator House. The home is perfect for couples and families looking for a peaceful getaway by the beach. The home looks out onto the ocean, has a large pool and is just steps from the pink sands beach. The property owners were very prompt to respond to any questions. They have a wonderful staff that kept the house very clean. The owners recommended Wanga Higgs catering service and she cooked us an amazing seafood dinner. We did the snorkeling and pigs tour with Jef Fox at Ocean Fox Adventures and he was fantastic. We highly recommend this home and hope to visit again soon!

PERFECT STAY!

We rented Alligator House to celebrate my 50th birthday and the experience was exceptional. I could not of asked for a more perfect house location with beach access and a pool. The house is well appointed (fully stocked kitchen) and very comfortable living spaces. There were 4 couples and we each had our own space to have privacy with the main living space to hangout and cook with a gorgeous view.

An absolutely beautiful stay

My family and I stayed at Alligator House to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. We were enthralled by this special home, with its different rooms and spacious living room opening up to an incredible view. Just steps away from the beach and near the center of town, we got the full Harbor Island experience! We hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Just Beautiful!

Alligator House was the perfect location for our girls’ getaway...close to town, just a 5-10 min golf cart ride to wonderful restaurants (or a quick stroll down the beach for lunch or dinner)...yet still secluded and private, perched just above the amazingly beautiful pink sand beach. John and Irma took wonderful care of us while we were there...a special week we’ll never forget. Thank you Anette for sharing your beautiful home with us! We’ll be counting the days until we can visit again! Best wishes, Laura
