Summer July get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great. We loved the unit. The only issue we had was we were 10 people and no kitchen table. The kitchen counter had 5 bar stools, so we ate in shifts. Also, we usually play games/cards at night. This year the kids were happy they weren’t force to do so and play on their phones.

Location was good but wouldn’t stay again

We had a great time but the house was equipped with hardly nothing. We thought the beach would be closer but it was at least a 10-15 minute walk across the road from the house we stayed in. The AC went out but they were quick to come and fix it. The house did not have any cleaning supplies, soap/sponge, mop/broom, trash bags, paper towels, washing detergent, etc. the house sleeps 12 but they only had 6 towels. The house did not even have salt/pepper. We had to buy literally everything from Walmart. The bathrooms were extremely small.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year coming to Sandpiper Cove. Once again, it did not disappoint. We go to the Destin for the beautiful beaches and Sandpiper Cove is located just perfectly in front of the beach. With multiple pools on property, we had two of them very close to us. Stores are very close by incase something is forgotten at home. Our stay has never been dissatisfying. We are already looking at dates for next summer.

Beautiful home, needs a few things.

We rebooked in Sandpiper Cove because we genuinely love the area and amenities. We have a large family so this seemed to be perfect for us. There were pots and pans but not enough plates or silverware for the large group we had, which was under the 12 it says it hosts. We left a few spices and coffee filters for the next tenant so they wouldn’t have to purchase the basics like we did. A well slept in divot in the mattress downstairs. And the only cleaning supplies we had was a broom to upkeep the property. We had a week long stay and desperately could have used basic cleaning supplies such as a vacuum. The laminate flooring is falling apart and chips off into your foot if you aren’t careful. Check in and out were a breeze and the front desk lady at the office was absolutely a delight. All in all we had a good stay, but I’d highly recommend expecting to stock up on a few basic items!

Condo was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed which made it very comfortable staying there. Close to pool, tennis court, restaurant, etc. Beach was a very close walk. Shopping around the corner. This was our 3rd visit with Sandpiper Cove and we will return.

Photographs Great, Needs Little Details

This VRBO was in the perfect location for our girls weekend. Luckily it was not booked before our trip, so we were able to check in a few hours early. Property management was wonderful. I think this was a recent listing as there were still tags on items from Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, etc. We had issues with holes in the wall behind the doors, faucet handles literally falling off when turning on the faucet and towel rods falling off when removing a towel. One of the bar stools seats literally was not screwed in and fell off as someone went to sit on it. No dishwasher detergent or pods provided, no paper towel, etc. would have been nice just for a days worth until we’re ready to go to the store. Living room is smaller than shown online, but decorated nicely. Beds were extremely comfortable, property amenities were nice. Parking was plentiful. In the loft area, there was a lack of chargers for those using the top bunks. Also there were no shades for the loft area so as soon as the sun rose it was extremely bright. As a warning, the loft has no door so any noise from the living room can be heard up to the loft. Overall was a decent stay for the short time I was there. Not sure I would stay at this unit again, but loved Destin and would stay in these condos.

Very close to everything in Destin and a lot of things in walking distance even. The walk to the beach was close and quick. Only downside was alot of the stools in the kitchen were in bad shape, 1 with a whole seat off and the others just very wobbly and unsturdy. Not a lot of kitchen utensils/equipment to cook meals but we made it work!

The washer was up too high to reach in and get clothes out. I felt the washer and dryer should swap places to allow easier access. The shower in bedroom off the kitchen was too small and the shower head did not move and when showering you were up against wall. I didn't feel that there were enough kitchen items for cooking use. No baking sheets, not enough utensils etc. It was a very nice villa and would use again.

Spacious Cute Condo

The photos didn’t do justice. This condo is adorably furnished with a great layout. The open living room is a fantastic place for groups to hangout and play games. The kitchen was a large enough space for several to cook and mingle at the bar seats. The bathrooms were spacious for getting ready. We spent a morning out on the balcony and weren’t too bothered by gnats though it is on a small pond that does not receive the sea breeze that usually keeps these pests at bay. A great location, close to the Harbor Walk. Private beach was a big plus! No complaints for this place from a big group of girls. The checkout process was super easy as well.

They stayed plenty busy between the pickleball courts and golfing. The beach was a small walk away. My only complaint is the lack of cooking supplies! We ended up buying a pan and leaving it there. The condo could use pans and pots. Other than that, this place was perfect for our needs! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Family Oriented

The condo was nice and decorated perfectly! You can tell the condo had been recently updated and it showed! It had lots of little touches that made it the perfect beach getaway. It was as spacious and accommodated our family well. It was very convenient to the beach and also offered non-beach activities. My only complaint was the mattress in our room. It was too soft! My husband and I had to accommodate by using cushions from from the couch.
