We loved this property! It was clean, comfortable and in the best location! In our opinion, the snorkeling by Boss Frog’s (across the street) was the best we’ve seen. Photo is the sunrise view from the deck. We hope to come back soon. Mahalo, Jim and Greg!

Felt very safe , views from unit were outstanding…looking out at the Prince Kuhio Park and the sea …lulled to sleep with the waves upon the rocks on the shoreline…only drawback was no a/c…there is always a trade wind breeze but it was still very warm.

If you are looking for a condo which looks and smells like the 60s then this is your place. Bugs everywhere. We shut all doors and as there is no AC, needless to say we had a miserable night. Kitchen was terrible. Glasses were dirty and had numerous water stains. Utensils were dirty and one knife handle had grease on it. The coffee maker was dirty. Refrigerator door was taped together with duct tape. Sheets had yellow stains which looked like urine stains. Comforter had dark stains on it. Throw pillows had numerous stains. Easy to see stains as pillow was gold. Weather stripping missing from front door, therefore, bugs in the condo. Both of us had bug bites after the overnight stay. Sliding screen had a patch to cover a hole. We were not advised there were 15 steps to reach the second floor. Extremely hard to carry large luggage. The balcony is about 2 feet wide and not nearly enough room for two adults. We have been visiting Kauai since 1984 as we have family who arrived Kauai in the 1800s. Booked thousands of dollars on different activities for 8 days. This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. When we checked out the next morning, Jim Boitnott, one of the owners, called asking if we were moving out. His manager went to our condo and found there was no luggage in the room. Not once did he ask if there was a problem. He asked three times if we were going to be staying in the condo. It appears he was going to rent it out again.

Great location on Kuaui on the South shore near Koloa. There is a good view of the ocean from condo. We did not like the closed in Lanai. Also there were curtains that obscured the view of the water in the middle of the full length windows providing a view of the ocean. You have to take a short walk to Lawai beach to watch the sunset. The other thing to know is that there are a lot of feral chickens, which means roosters in the morning.

Excellent location, lovely condo

We had a great time at this condo, the location is amazing with a great snorkeling beach right across the street. Parking was easy and the condo was very clean. The host was very responsive and helpful if needed, and the check in/out process was very easy.

Perfect location, wonderful condo

This is a great place to stay, especially to explore the southern side of Kauai. The condo is super clean and well equipped with everything you need for meals. The furniture is comfortable, especially for a VRBO. Plenty of beach towels and linens. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is fantastic and #205 overlooks a gorgeous park. Lots of chickens and the roosters start their day very early, so be aware of that. The walls are fairly thin, I would say, but nothing different than any other condo and it's a fairly quiet complex overall. There is a place to snorkel just across the road, there is also a walking path next to the street as well that makes it easy to get in a good walk (Poipu beach is about 1.5 miles away). Laundry room on site with standard prices and has a sink. Owners were responsive to any texts etc. Highly recommended!

Lovely views and Cozy Comfort

Even though it was brief, we had a wonderful stay at this condo, even though it was brief. It had a lovely garden and ocean view and a gorgeous, breezy sun room that made it so easy to relax. The hosts were incredibly kind, accommodating and communicative, ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommend!

Great location

This condo was in a great location and has beautiful views. The picture does show a table on the balcony, but there was no furniture on balcony for our visit. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were working on the water so we had no water for over 5 hours. If we would have known, we would have moved things around. I honestly think it was just an oversight of communication, but really put a damper on our first night. I think it’s important to note that there is no AC and you can’t leave the windows/doors open when you leave so coming back it can be a little stuffy. But overall, this was a great place to enjoy Kauai.

Great condo and great communication with owner

Overall the condo was pretty much as advertised on the listing. The location was great and central to everything on the island. The only minor issue was around parking. We had to park in the garage the first night and all of the parking spots designated for the Prince Kuhio condos in the garage were full. We were able to talk to the guy monitoring the parking garage and he let us park in a spot which was reserved for the condo complex next door. We were able to get a parking spot in the garage or the front parking lot the remainder of the stay. Only other minor complaint was that the outside deck was pretty much unusable since it was too small to put a chair or table for sitting. It would be nice if it was a few feet deeper to allow sitting outside similar to the units below it or further down the row. The sitting room inside the unit was nice though and we were able to open the door to the deck when sitting there.

Nice quiet complex with walking distance to three small quiet beaches. Owner very accessible for any assistance. 20 minutes from the airport and a low traffic area.
